Doug and Don's Auto Care

I have to give a shout out to Doug and Dons auto care in Hudsonville. We have used them for years and honestly don’t think we ever thank them enough!

Over the Holidays my husbands jeep broke down, check engine light on and running extremely rough so not drivable. We left it with them and knowing how busy they are, waited on the news, anticipating the worst.

Fast forward to yesterday, my husband called for an update. They had it in their shop for 2 days diagnosing and trying to get the code to display. They finally were able to get the code and fixed the issue… for $25.00!

About 5 years ago my dad was battling Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and needed quite a bit of work on their Equinox. Doug took care of them for the parts only, saving them literally hundreds of dollars knowing how tough things were and donated all his time.

These guys work so hard and I don’t think get enough credit for what they do. I’ve seen posts where people are looking for a good mechanic, and I know there are many good ones out there, but these guys, truly are top notch and we highly recommend them!

Mike did a fantastic job. Reasonable! Amazing how he figures out the problem and was much less than other garages that couldn't. We have had 3 jobs done and saved us hundreds of dollars because he is so knowledgeable. Thanks Mike so much.

Doug and Dons is my go to place. It has been my dads go to place as well. They are very good about returning calls and updating you on the status of things. They are nice on the phone as well. They come in at a competitive price as well. They will fix mistakes if they make some! They also have given me good recommends for other services such as Body work or alignments! Happy to bring my Honda’s here!

Doug is a great guy he is willing to get your vehicle in to get fixed in a timely manor and let's you know what's wrong with a quote and doesn't beat around the bush. Mike the mechanic is awsome at what he does very knowledgeable when it comes to fixing everything from your busted up 90's Cutlass to your fine prime BMW. So if your looking for a great shop with some amazing people that will get the job done right stop in to get your car everything from a old change/ tune up to a full break job.

Mike is a very honest man. Does great work on my vehicle. I will for sure always make my way back to his place from now on no matter what. I appreciate the years of service happy it now has all paid off.

Blew a tire right in front of Doug & Don's with only 30 minutes to take it to court in Kentwood, and (Doug or Don??) replaced my tire lickety-split so that I didn't have to crawl around in my suit wrestling with lug-nuts and whatnot. And at no charge. It wasn't much a repair job in terms of complexity, but I sure appreciated the quick and friendly assist that got me (almost) to where I needed to be on time. Thank you again!!
