This place deserves every bit of 5 stars, best food I've had since moving to kalamazoo two years ago

Everything is good. My only recommendation is that yall add bbq sause to the baked beans to set them apart from other baked beans a little bit.

Other than that don't change a damn thing

Pigs heads is 10/10 the best food I’ve had plus the owner is so friendly they catered our wedding and I still get people who ask about it! Don’t hesitate to book him!

Great BBQ and a great variety of other proteins, sides and desserts. Gobles is VERY lucky to have such a great food truck in town each week.

This place is the real deal! The baby back ribs and brisket were perfect, and all the sauces (served on the side, the meat is amazing on its own!) are great, and the sides are generous and delicious. The fries were probably the best I've ever tasted, but everything we tried was amazing!

Some of the best barbecue we’ve ever had! Tender, juicy, and flavorful meats. All of the sauces are delicious, but not overpowering; the white with horseradish is the best! Customer service is phenomenal! We’ll definitely be back for more brisket! :) Worth the drive!

We live in Holland and we’re visiting the arcade out there. We decided to grab some BBQ, sadly there were only sausages and some brisket left. But we were not disappointed. They were sooo good. My sons both loved the sides, Mac and cheese was their favorite! My son said good thing we live in Holland or we’d be getting food here frequently. Hopefully next time we’ll be able to try more

My husband and I happened to find this food truck and have been obsessed. There hasn’t been a single thing that has not been amazing. Fast forward to my daughters graduation party, she requested a Mac and cheese bar. Immediately I knew who was catering this. We messaged and got it all figured out in one day. 2 pans of Mac n Cheese and BBQ pork. Pick up day went smoothly and I cannot tell you how much of a hit it was. Everyone was raving about the Mac n Cheese and some people had their first BBQ Pork Mac n Cheese. They made the process so easy and even tossed in a corner piece of cornbread for my husband when he picked it up. Thank you Pigs Head and family for the wonderful service and even better food.

We recently had a memorial catered by Pigs Head. Everyone loved the food and the owner and his son we so kind and respectful. They we on time and did not rush to clean up as things thinned out. Highly recommended!

I was in and out like a robbery, is how it felt after the first bite, it is great food huge portions of goodness that are so good they make the wait seem like a drive thru

We had the pleasure of working with James for our wedding August 2022. From the start he was very friendly, quick to respond and passionate about his food. We went to his food truck for a tasting, and as we stood in line each person told us “this is the best bbq I’ve ever had”. Needless to say we were excited, and Pigs Head BBQ was indeed the BEST BBQ around. I kid you not we took one single bite of the brisket, and knew we were putting a deposit down that very same day. From the 17 hour Texas style smoked brisket, pulled pork, tender rib tips all the way to the cheesy Mac and dessert cup it was DELICIOUS. Now let me tell ya the day of our wedding it was even better than we remembered and our guest complimented the food ALL night. Shoot we had guest that night following him on Facebook, sharing his page telling everyone they know to not walk but run to try his food. Not only was the buffet setup perfectly organized but the buns and cornbread were stacked in an adorable basket (it’s the details for me) Then next to the meats every type of bbq sauce your heart could desire. It was a dang party for your taste buds to sum it up!! If you are looking for some mind blowing food for a quick bite to eat or even to cater an event I would highly recommend trying Pigs Head BBQ. I can promise you won’t be disappointed with anything you try!!

Something I just had to share:
As my husband and I took a moment to ourselves we could see all of our guest smiling with each bite and behind them we noticed James and his son looking so incredibly proud of all their hard work. That to me was one of the best moments getting to see the full circle of it all.

Thank you James it was an absolute pleasure working with someone who is passionate about what they do and we can’t wait to take trip to Michigan to experience it all over again!!

Always Great Food at a great Price!! Portions are really good and you have a lot of options!! If you are in the mood for really good smoked meats and delicious sides stop and see them on Sundays!! They set up downtown I believe right around 12 and close when they sell out.

James and Pigs Head Barbecue catered our wedding in Gobles, Michigan last summer. He was extremely easy to work with and incredibly kind. We are originally from Texas, so bbq is a huge thing and we received many compliments from our Texas guests about how amazing the food was. We highly recommend stopping by and checking him out just to enjoy a meal or to cater your event!

The food is so delicious and James and his family are absolutely amazing. We will continue to support this business. I would give this 100 stars if I could.

BY FAR THE BEST BBQ I have EVER had!! We were instantly greeted by their son (who was the sweetest thing ever) and he brought us out sauces and silverware. I ordered the brisket meal and got two orders of fries and gave one to my husband.. he ordered the brisket Dorito nachos. I’m not kidding when I say we STILL have food left! We both ate til our hearts were content for a late lunch yesterday, then snacked on our left overs last night and today, I’m about to finish my brisket for lunch! The food was out of this world! The brisket, to die for!! The fries, like whaaaatt?! I’ve never had fries so good in my entire life!! My husband is a nacho Connoisseur and said he could live on their nachos!! Lol.. all around, you guys are amazing!! You have the whole family involved, very polite and friendly, and over all just a great experience!! I’ll be driving to gobles more often now that I know there’s a hidden gem there!!

First time trying this out and safe to say that the wife and I are hooked. Outstanding brisket and pulled pork. Prices are very fair and sauces are great and has a good variety. If you haven't been out to try this BBQ then stop waiting, you're in for a treat.

Great food! Love all meats .....wonderful! Love the honey corn bread, it comes with its own layer of honey, porky beans, are a meal all by themselves. Cheesey potatoes or Mac n cheese are great!
Sunday is a challenge to choose the sides we want as they are delicious, and the sides change so that is always fun. (We keep updated on changes and new sides on fb) Some may be concerned about waiting in line but actually that is fun and so worth the wait! The guys are friendly, pleasant and helpful.

Absolutely amazing barbecue! They are super friendly and know their stuff. If you're ever in the kzoo area on a Sunday stop by and fill up on their delicious barbecue and scratch made sides. They are legit and you won't be disappointed!

Can smell his smoker going Saturday evening from my house, drives me insane; but in a good way!!! You can see the smoke ring on the meat, so worth the wait. And the sides like the Cornbread and the Mac & Cheese are crazy awesome!

Pigshead BBQ is countryque at it's best with quality meats, bold, smokey flavors , big portions, great sides and tremendous value. James Sluss & Co are on a roll with their new food truck and smooth operation drawing big crowds to Gobles every Sunday. Give them a try!
