The best Chinese in town!!! Been going here for years and the food is amazing. The owners are the nicest people and always get us our food fast!

The lo mein with shrimp was delicious! It didn't have too much sauce. It was perfect. I would return and order that again! The fried rice was just okay. It wasn't our personal favorite. The customer service was pretty good. There are lots of tables and chairs outside which was wonderful!

I have never had a bad meal at this place and have always enjoyed the friendly service. I wanted to write this review to give special thanks and recognition to the team working this past Christmas Eve. It was so busy, and they were so hard working, kind, and friendly under so much pressure. A very rude customer came in and treated them VERY poorly; he was so ugly, sarcastic, and berated them because his order was 5 minutes late. This team handled it WAY better than I would have, and I really just wanted to say great job, ladies. We see how hard you were working!

There is no better sweet n sour shrimp in the city. Top notch restaurant.

My new favorite Chinese food restaurant! I love house special lo mein and have been having a hard time finding a local place that does it the way I like it. Wan Kow does it great! I also prefer bean sprout egg rolls over cabbage egg rolls and Wan Kow's egg rolls are great! I fully endorse Wan Kow for Chinese food!!!

Very delicious food, easy to follow menu, and overall best Chinese food! I personally love spicy foods and their Szechaun can commandant almost any spice level or intensity that fits your pallet! I've been coming here for all my life ever since a little boy when introduced by my family.

It Is very hard to find good Lo mein. Look no more. I ordered the house Lo Mein and wow it was good. Real jumbo shrimp. Great tasting steak. Very good flavor. Best part is it's very reasonable priced. I will be coming back, Maybe even tomorrow. lol

It's all good! I previously wrote about Wan Kow's two recent ownership changes. The second has done the trick. We had a very disappointing experience after they were sold in 2013 and hadn't been back until last night. The taste might be slightly different from "classic" Wan Kow but this current version is still very good indeed. The two dinner combos were nearly overflowing with food, enough to make two meals out of! We will be back when our other favorite is closed--it is good to have two Chinese restaurants in the area we enjoy.

Great Service, Friendly Staff, Excellent food!

I used to go to a chop suey in Dearborn Heights and loved it. Since moving to Harper Woods I have never been impressed with the restaurants I have been to... until tonight! They serve the best, hands down, THE BEST Almond Chicken and Chicken Lo Mien! Will go again, WILL refer to my friends! Must try them for yourself!

Fresh and big portions! I use to get carryout from here once a week when I lived in Grosse Pointe. I'm a big fan of their fried rice, chicken chow mein, chicken lo mein, sweet and sour chicken and pepper steak.

We love Wan Kow! Great sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice and egg rolls are my favorites. I highly recommend.

The food was amazing, the almond boneless chicken was so good and definitely a new favorite. Staff was nice as well, I will be returning.

This is my favorite place to get takeout from! I’ve never had a problem with an order here and the food is always delicious no matter what I get. :)

Great food and great value as always. Almond chicken, egg fu yung and egg rolls are excellent. All of the cashiers are very nice.

I am shocked that the ratings for this place don't average out to 4.9. If you order Chinese food, this is the only place to go because nothing else comes close.
Suggestion: Order a lunch special for starters.
