Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Mankato

Exchange at the front desk was great with super fast check in. Front desk gentleman was VERY professional and helpful on floor recommendations. Entire hotel was Spotless. Pool area spotless. Floors in the halls and breakfast area spotless. Hotel was busy but quiet on the floor. Breakfast area along with coffee bar was clean. Many options for breakfast. Coffee was excellent. Some hotels serve weak, bland coffee but not this place, it was hot, good flavor and perky as we prefer bolder morning coffee. They are there to serve and they did a great job. Thank you !

I'm giving it 5 stars just based on how well I slept here, which is rare for me. Hotel is older but it's very clean and cozy.

Breakfast is basic but not bad at all. Rooms were clean and the air worked well. Plenty of food and shopping close by. Id definitely stay again when traveling through.

My hubby and I spent Friday, October 20th over night. Our oldest granddaughter was getting married in the area. The staff was friendly. Hotel looked very nice. Our room was nice too. The hotel is very quiet. Didn't hear people walking up and down the hallway. Didn't hear doors slamming shut. The hotel was booked. We arrived early and they checked us in. Continental breakfast 🥣 was delicious. Check out was 12:00pm. That was wonderful. I didn't worry about getting up early, packing everything up, then scramble to go to breakfast.
If we go to Mankato again we will diffently get a room there.

Comfy and quiet, great breakfast options as well. Very accommodating being a smoker, I was able to get ground floor room. Thanks!

Easy check in. Alan was very respectful and helpful. Anna the general manager was beyond kind and considerate. We had problems at another hotel and these people here were like a breath of fresh air. Will definitely be staying here and make sure everyone i know hears
about it. Thank you Anna for listening to my concerns. Also breakfast was delicious. Our beds were so cozy after being on the road for 8 hours. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

Sean was amazing and Housekeeping was good. They had a lady bug issue and only sean when above and beyond to take of them for me and i was there for 26 day.

Brittany and Anna were fantastic. I really recommend this hotel, it felt nice and nothing got in the way for my trip. If you need a place to stay in mankato, great spot.

There was a minor problem with electronics and we were efficiently moved to another room. The rooms were clean and fresh. The breakfast assortment was fabulous. We had a fabulous stay. Thank You.

A very nice and clean hotel. The rooms are nice and spacious, the bathrooms are clean and big. The only thing that i didnt really like are these 5 dollar water bottles that they put in ur room. If u want them u have to pay for them, im not used to hotels doing that, and i dont really like that. Another complaint i have is the fact that theres no daily room service. Its not that big of a deal but it would make the hotel experience even better.

Without asking, we were given a very quiet room at the end of the corridor, away from the elevator or vending, which we very much appreciate. Upon check-in, we were each handed a treat bag, containing a bottle of water and a bag of Famous Amos cookies (I'd post a photo, but they're already gone). Such a great, but simple touch. The good-sized room is clean and comfortable, plenty of surfaces and storage for our stuff during our stay. Couldn't ask for more.

The room was nice and clean. The bedding was exceptionally soft and comfortable. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The room temperature was just right. Our extra request for a rollaway was all ready for us when we arrived. The night staff was friendly and check-in was super fast.
The breakfast had way more choices than your average Continental hot breakfast. The staff was especially accommodating even when it was time for breakfast to be over. They noticed families with small children and went above and beyond to make sure that there was enough food for everyone. Barb even made extra sausage and scrambled eggs at 9 a.m. when breakfast was ending.

Updated contemporary decor. Definitely a must stay if you want to enjoy yourself. The bedrooms and pool area are clean. Beds were comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was great. It has a very upscale feel but very reasonably priced.

The price was about $115 for a bedroom with 2 beds. Right when you walk in, it looks very modern and new. The best part was how big the lounge/dinning area was. The room was very clean and the staff were nice. I even lost my phone charger and I went back and they had it there for me. It was a great experience!

The hotel was easy to find. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean upon arrival. The fitness room was small but fine for my purposes (an elliptical is all I need). My only minor complaint is the shower drained a bit slowly.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Fairfield Inn and Suites, Mankato. The staff was very friendly, everything was extremely clean, and I was provided with everything (and more) that I needed. The TV had Netflix on it, the WIFI worked great, and there were even delicious snacks to purchase in the lobby. I was also very pleased with their breakfast menu. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to spend the night!

Room was spacious and modern, bed was super comfy for a budget hotel. Bathroom was perfect, lots of counter space, not cramped. Breakfast bar was amazing, more choices than I've seen at any free breakfast bar.

Nice staff, clean building, great breakfast. Only downside is the mattress. I've got a really bad back and even with an extra mattress pad my neck was seized up for 4 days after staying here. This is not the fault of the hotel. I just wish there was a chain of hotels with Purple mattresses. I would pay extra for a purple mattress. They do need to stock a lot more towels in the pool area. It had only been open for a couple hours and all of the towels were gone.

We had our baseball team stay here for a tournament we participated in. A few days before, I learned the pool was closed and the person we made the reservation with who said renovations were complete was no longer there. I was not happy as our 2 requirements were breakfast and a pool. However, then Travis called me back. His honesty, empathy and customer service was worthy of staying here and I am sure glad we did. He was honest, saying the town was empty and we could definitely stay somewhere else if we wanted a pool. He made great arrangements for our team and everyone had a great time. The staff that was there when Travis wasn't was also great. One of our players lost an item in the hotel and they went through several bags of trash until they found it. Everyone when above and beyond the call of duty which is hard to find these days. Thank you Travis and the entire Fairfield staff for a pleasant stay. When we are in Mankato next, we know where we will be staying! See you then!

Of all the hotels I've stayed in for traveling for track meets, this one is by far my favorite. They always have everything you need and the service is wonderful. And most importantly, everything is clean and comfortable! There was a lot of options for breakfast too, even during covid.

The customer service is superior! The staff made our reservation process quick and easy! We made reservations at another hotel, and when we arrived to check in, it was not at all what we had reserved. The room was wrong, wirlpool was broke, it was dark and non-inviting. Every where was booked!!
The staff at Fairfield Inn and Suites made what seemed to be a nightmare, a complete success!! Thank you!
