Went for breakfast and it was delicious. Classic breakfast favorites, cooked to order!

I highly recommend this place, and the lunch dishes looked great too! I will be returning to try more!

Love this place. Only thing I could want for is a little more elbow room and dinner hour availability. The overall size of dining space could be bigger. But awesome in all respects otherwise. Food is always great. Only had one ify waitress and anyone can have an "off" day. Way to GO!

This is a great place for breakfast. They have all the breakfast options. We had a small bus group of seniors going to Merlin's and they had a table ready for us when I called and asked only 30 minutes before we arrived. Most of the food is excellent and they do have a senior menu. Only negatives was 2 people in the group their food was cold by the time they got it. The scrambled eggs are flat and I prefer mine fluffy. They did accommodate everyone with their little differences in his they wanted things, for example one wanted their bacon crispy and another one wanted it not crispy.

Coffee is GREAT!!! Server was on time with stops, not too many like I usually get. Food is ok, maybe some dishes better than others. I had eggs Benedict, I've had better and I've had worse. They REALLY need to do something about the parking lot though.

The dinner foods here are amazing and the service was stellar!! It’s crazy the place only had 3 groups eating in there. If you have not given Merlin’s a try for dinner you should!!!

Great place to stop and eat. Very friendly staff that was non stop checking on tables. Food was very good and came out fast. Definitely will be back

Place was packed had a waiting list as you walked in. and took over 45 min to get from orders. Taken to eating. They are now open 6 am to 4pm Wednesday and 6am to 2pm sunday , monday, Tuesday.

They do have a coffee bar and drive thru.

The new dinner menu is great! You have to try the Truffle fries. So yummy! We tried 4 of the new entrees and enjoyed them all. The pork chop and shrimp Po boy were favorites. And very friendly service made the meal top notch!

Oh! I was craving a Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with mashed potatoes & gravy (commercial). So delicious with great portions and lean beef! Hot coffee to wash it down. Efficient wait staff and I will be back again. I feel bad i hadn’t been here before as its a gem!

WOW!!! Lunch was awesome! Fish were big filets and the fries are crunchy on the outside soft on the inside. Old fashioned milk shakes. Huge chef salad loaded with all the toppings. Staff were phenomenal. 5 stars. Only wish they were open later than 2pm...then we could get there to eat more often. Great job Merlins. Keep up the great work!

No adult employees there today. Hats off to the young people who showed up to work today. Respect!!! To the adult employees who were supposed to work and didn't show ,I am disappointed in you all! Good job, teenagers

Stopped in here for the first time with my neighbor on our way to Pierz MN.. A short wait time but let me tell you WAIT! It's worth every bit of wait. It's amazing food and the service is just as good! Prices are just as good. Give it a try! You can thank me later!

Breakfast is amazing! The cinnamon rolls are so light and fluffy, and huge! Very cute pace, nice lowkey atmosphere. Staff was very friendly.

Delicious food in big portions at affordable prices. I love that I can order a gourmet coffee with my breakfast...or a mimosa depending on my day.

Had a late breakfast with friends. Everyone was pleased with the service and meal. We were amused by the bear out frount.

Had the meatloaf dinner a while back. Should get some kind of award for being the best I have had. Was heated on the flat top so slightly crispy and just plain good. Then had the Mexican omelet last Sunday. Both wife and I very pleased with the meals.

First time in Princeton and Merlin's was recommended to while we were buying a car. Absolutely some of the best food I've had. Very home-style cooking, and great portion sizes. I got the country fried steak and my wife got an omelet. My wife said the ingredients had a fresh taste, and my steak and sausage gravy was excellent. The pancakes are sweet and more cake like than I am used to, but they were really delicious and perfectly cooked.

We will definitely be making a trip up from St. Paul again for lunch soon. Very good.

I love Merlin's! I stop by as often as I can! I've never been disappointed with anything I've tried. Even the house coffee ☕ is amazing! Yesterday I had a half portion of the hot roast beef sandwich with mash and gravy.. SO GOOD!

Justin did an amazing job making our meal. My husband loved his French toast and I enjoyed my chicken tender basket.
