Awesome place! Great food! Great people! I had the alambres with the barbacoa meat. Delicious!!! Can’t go wrong with anything.

Highly recommended for those passing by on 94! My wife and I travel interstate 94 between Minneapolis and Fargo regularly. Barbacoa is a frequent stop for us. We enjoy the tasty food, fast service, and affordable prices. You can even get take out if you are in a hurry.

The best Mexican around Mn, no question. The food is over the top wonderful! She will go out of her way to take care of you. Being short staffed and struggling to find wait staff, they still do an amazing job!

Excellent place to eat after a long day on the road and especially for smoked meats. Food was great and the staff were very friendly and met my specific request.
Had a chance to chat with the owner and was impressed by her passion and desire to own a business and make a difference in her community while giving others opportunities as well.
They had run out of brisket, because it's so popular, and when I told her I was disappointed she went and cut a piece off of the brisket she was cooking and it was amazing.
Great outdoor atmosphere and would highly recommend you stop by and visit.

Absolutely amazing food! Brisket is tender, jucy, and flavorful!!! Service is very welcoming and attentive. Many dishes are freshly made which adds another level of quality. This place would be a hit in a bigger city!

So delicious! This place is such a gem of a find and I highly suggest to everyone when they ask about somewhere place to eat in Albany. I was never at Barbacoa before the remodel but the decor had a very cozy feel and I really like it. There is also an outdoor seating area with quite a few tables. Would be a great place for music. The smoked meat is so tasty and moist and great in tacos and quesadilla.

Great find in a small town! For some reason, BBQ smoked meats + Mexican food + handmade pizza = deliciousness. Also, drinks made by a legitimate bartender who knows how to make a true margarita from scratch.

Most places need to upgrade the food to match the location upgrade. Barbacoa had to upgrade the whole building to match the great food! This is a destination restaurant. It is worth the drive to eat here no matter where you are coming from!

I went there today for the first time since it opened. I was met by very friendly staff, who offered helpful suggestions regarding menu selections. When my order arrived, the presentation was excellent, and the food was delicious. Portions were ample enough that I couldn't finish eating it all and I brought something home for later this evening. I have been to many Mexican/American restaurants in central Minnesota. If my first experience is any indication as to the quality of all the many other offerings on their menu, I will be returning. I recommend this restaurant, even if it means driving 15-20 miles from Saint Cloud.It's worth the drive.

We enjoyed good food and service today. The restaurant is small but the selections were good. The prices were very reasonable and portions were great (we all left stuffed). Fajitas, burrito, quesadilla and guacamole were all delicious today!
