This place is almost ALWAYS busy. The food is always amazing. The orders are done quickly and accurately. The only time you might wait is when they are super busy, even then it is still reasonable.

Love the food. I've been coming here every since it opened. My favorite is the cashew chicken. Big servings for the price. Way better than the chain fast food burger places.

Love this place. I've come about once a month for the 10 years I've worked in Elk River and the service is always amazing. I almost exclusively get Singapore Chow Mei Fun and it is one of my all time favorite meals. Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Chinese.

As you can read, most of the bad reviews are by people that sound like they could never be made happy anyway. Everyone I know personally in this area that likes Chinese food loves this place. 👍

We placed a phone order before we went. Arrived and they were running a few minutes behind, no biggie. Employees were great. Food was awesome. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the food or the experience. Keep up the awesome work! We will definitely be going back!

Best service all the time. The staff is friendly and polite. Add that to a Great Chinese cuisine and good tasting food and you have the best traditional Chinese restaurant in the area. Added benefit, the take out is fast and efficient. My wife and I use their take out service for our own meals and our family get-togethers. We highly recommend them.

Very very good food and a good environment ordered chicken and broccoli and soup and both were delicious 10/10 will go again soon

Yum! My young son eats gluten free and is a tad picky, they took extra time to make him chicken, broccoli and white rice with a chicken broth dipping sauce. My son LOVED it and my food was delicious too. Thank you guys for helping us.

We have been ordering take out from here for years. Good sized meals, always tastes good, the staff are nice and the food is quick. Very consistent in all areas!

Eat here on average once a week. Had many dishes but absolutely love the chicken fried rice and so that's what I stick to. Most Americanized Chinese food places have chicken fried rice too salty/not salty enough, or too umami/not umami enough, under-cooked or overcooked rice, too many or too few veggies, or the wrong kind. This place nails it. I particularly like it for leftovers. Dumplings are excellent too.

Staff is legitimately trying to please you. They're fast and exceptionally courteous. Andy has even spent some time showing me some Chinese characters after I expressed interest. Once, when I had to wait what was maybe 5 minutes because they were busy, they offered to let me walk out without paying. I refused because I want to support the business but I was impressed they even suggested so.

I've seen some pretty gnarly cooking spaces at Chinese restaurants in MN. Yet the steel on the cookware surroundings at China Dragon is grease stain free, even though they've been around a while. Their floors and surfaces are equally clean.

That lady who complained about the chicken fried rice don't know what she's talking about. Keep up the good work, guys.

Have been going there for years - It's the best place in the area and great value for lunch. Moved away and cannot find a Chinese takeout place like it. Highly recommend. Helpful hint - everything is made to order so phone beforehand to place it and it will be ready to go when you arrive. GREAT PLACE!!!!

just move in elk river a few months ago, looking for good Chinese here base on google review, so tasty black pepper chicken, my husband love it, kids like orange chicken made without spicy, it's great take out places due pandemic. definitely will be back .highly recommended .

Best Chinese in Elk River. Great food! Great prices! Generous portions! Would be nice if they had a better eat-in area, and a double-door entry so you didn't get a blast of cold air whenever anyone walks in. But probably not possible in such a small space.

Excellent take out staple in Elk River. Service is always great, and so is the food! It would be nice if they offered more combo options, but that's hardly a criticism.
With the lack of any Chinese delivery in the area, New China Dragon is your best bet.

Best Chinese food ever great food great service I ordered online and it was ready in 20 minutes or less. Awesome service taste wonderful.

The food is delicious and fresh. friendly staff also food prepare fast, I ordered there a few it only take 10-15 wait . Even during the long wait rush time , but it still worth it .

Our family enjoys ordering take out from China Dragon. The food is much better than that you would get from a Chinese buffet. My favorite dish is the Singapore Rice Noodles which I recommend checking out if you like something with a little spice.

An incredible Lil gem.for Elk River! You always hAve your Leann Chins & of course your "Chinese" buffets, but New China Dragon is always made fresh for you and it's ALWAYS HOT and ready to consume. A very modest group of immigrants who are doing us a great service. I'd recommend them any day of the week and I'd recommend the sesame chicken of course with Fried rice. That is my go to.
