Max's Restaurant & Pub at Snowvillage Inn

We had a wonderful supper at Max's. My duck and garlic potatoes were cooked to perfection. My companion was delighted with his choice, as well. The atmosphere was welcoming. There are gorgeous views from both the dining area and inn. Lizzy did amazing serving our table. Fabulous place to visit and to dine at.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Max’s Restaurant! To start, the food and drinks are delicious and very high quality! I especially loved the fettuccine, crab cake and warm cider cocktail. The hostess and our waitress were both extremely friendly and polite, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is extremely cozy and ideal for a romantic dinner — we came during Valentine’s Day weekend and it was perfect for the occasion. I definitely recommend Max’s to anyone looking for a fantastic dinner!

Highly, highly recommend! We spent a night here and felt so welcomed. The cozy rooms, beautiful views, and the restaurant were absolutely wonderful. In the perfect location for scenic hikes, too. I would definitely go to the restaurant at the inn instead of traveling elsewhere. Amazing service and great food. While leaving, I accidentally left my necklace in the room and the staff did everything to get it back to me, sending it to my house within a week(: so happy with our stay and we will be back!

I loved the peace and serenity of the Snowvillage Inn. The owners of this quaint little inn are so wonderful and kind. The restaurant is excellent and the food is great. Hope to be back soon.

We stayed here the weekend of 12/17 to get away from the every day routine and had a phenomenal experience. We even drove through a blizzard to get there!

- the room was terrific, great view of the mountains
- breakfast - perfection every day
- snowshoeing option was a nice touch and we had a blast for a few hours
- The owners were very friendly and helpful with recommending things to do and places to visit
- Dinner was exceptional, the restaurant on site served great mixed drinks and the menu had great variety. We loved the food as well, everything was perfect. A great blend of romantic and fine dining

This is the perfect destination for a getaway, but shopping and restaurants are a short drive away at the same time. We will be back and look forward to it!

We had the best time at Snowvillage Inn for our anniversary! The Inn is a small campus of buildings around the center bar/restaurant with beautiful views. It's super scenic just walking over to dinner. Rooms were cozy and clean. We weren't initially intending to, but we had such a great time at dinner at Max's that we decided to go there a second nice. Staff was very courteous. Oh, and you get free breakfast with your stay. Like, a full, real sitdown breakfast. Not a buffet or continental type deal. The staff also recommended that we head up Foss Mountain (very close by) to watch the sunset. It was awesome! Super easy 1 mile round trip hike with panoramic views towards the Whites and Lakes Region.

My new husband and I chose Max’s for our “reception” after eloping with a small group of our immediate family just a few days ago. This restaurant is absolutely AMAZING. They were accommodating far beyond what we could have hoped for. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food was INCREDIBLE. Our dinner guests are still raving about the Simply Sirloin Steak!

We love this place. The view is beautiful. The rooms are lovely (no TV in our room which makes it even more quite and peaceful).
The food was delicious (breakfast was included, and dinner needs to be reserved ahead of time) . We think it is the best restaurant in the area. Don't miss their deserts at dinner or their chop ribs. They even have a good locally roasted coffee.
Thrir lobby is so cozy and full of great books and board games.
The staff is so friendly and kind and their service was outstanding.
The only disadvantage we came across was the height of the beds. I think these beds are for very tall people :) but there is a stool if you need.
Defently planning to go there again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and now we absolutely can't wait to visit again. The Inn is adorable and rustic, the staff welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the Chimney House. Our room was super cozy with its own gas fireplace and a very comfortable bed. They had freshly baked cookies in the room for us when we arrived. We got the beer and nuts package. I don't know what their spiced nuts recipe is but it was amazing. We got to end each day by sitting comfortably by a crackling fire with our drinks or cozying up in our room to the gas fireplace, playing board and card games.
The food at the pub was delicious and each morning we went over for a fantastic breakfast that started off with freshly baked muffins. My only small disappointment was that the pub didn't offer a more casual menu for dinner. But the area is close by to more great restaurants. And it is right down the road from King Pine, which is full of all different kinds of winter activities.
The attention to the small details at this inn was so touching. You don't get freshly baked goods and romantic breakfasts (their eggs in a basket were heart shaped and I almost couldn't get over how cute it was) just anywhere.
We loved our stay and made so many great memories here.
We will definitely be back to make some more.

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon here- the elk and duck our first night were amazing! The fish and chips and burger our second night just as good <3

Beautiful, peaceful setting for sitting on an Adirondack chair and admiring the hummingbirds and the White Mountain views. Comfortable rooms, gracious hosts and a fine restaurant. Wonderful place to wind down from the N. Conway scene or a base to explore the lakes and mountains.

My family and I have been visiting the Snowvillage Inn for a few years and our experiences are always positive. The staff and owners are great. They are kind and work hard to make guest feel comfortable. The food is good especially when they have specials! My recommendation is to get there early to have a drink and enjoy the amazing view from the porch.

Surprised my boyfriend for his birthday with the beer and spirits package and picked the frost suite. It was amazing! The staff were so friendly and helpful, I absolutely didn’t want to leave. The views were gorgeous and the food at Max’s was delicious.

My gf and I came for valentines day weekend and it was incredible. Rooms were excellent. Staff was very friendly and engaging. They had excellent suggestions for things to do. The food is amazing at the restaurant. I will be coming back here for sure. Loved every second of it.

Expertly prepared delicious meals, restaurant is gorgeous, very romantic ambiance, great live band. Definitely worth the 15 minute ride from North Conway. A hidden jewel in the woods. I will go back every year. Thank you Jim

Kevin and Jenn were the best hosts! Steve and other wait staff made our visits exceptional! From breakfast to dinner they always excelled.
We can't wait to go back again.

The food was great. Definitely more of a fancy dining experience. I had the duck and my wife had the scallops. Both were very delicious. The only suggestion would to have a sign at the road to make it obvious that you have the right place.

First time staying at the Snowvillage Inn, and I have to say that I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a get away. beautiful scenes and very relaxing atmosphere. The owners were great and very helpful. The food was awesome, specially the stuffed French toast. See you guys next year.

I attended a wedding at Snowvillage Inn and stayed overnight. Everything was great. Staff were friendly and helpful, the wedding seemed well-managed, and while our room (Carriage House) did not have air conditioning, it was cool and the bed was plenty comfortable

Warm comfortable restaurant with attentive service, exceptional food and a great wine selection. The owners should be very proud of their overall "product".
