First time in after moving to the area and they didn't disappoint! Soup and sandwiches were great and we loved picking a day old bread for home

I absolutely LOVE the lunch menu here! Service is great, and food is wonderful. They change the menu every day, which keeps things different.

In addition to their great lunch menu, their fresh baked breads, and desserts are fantastic! I'd eat here everyday if could.

Fun atmosphere! Good food! Attentive service. I would highly recommend grabbing a loaf or two of bread to go! The cinnamon rolls were outstanding! I wish every town supported small businesses the way that this city does!

Had the most amazing blueberry verde salad today! I called in a carry out order, it was ready on time as they said it would be, and the food was amazing. Great job Back Alley Bakery! Love to see businesses like this thrive, it's hard to find good food like this anymore!

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. I need to stop in when it's warm enough to sit outside. Kept my coffee filled and scrambler with veg sausage, spinach, mushroom, avocado- fresh ingredients and tasty. Took home treats for later-good prices on everything!

Back Alley has good food and is a nice local spot to get lunch but it can be a little pricey. But you get what you pay for and Back Alley delivers a great experience every time

Any day that I don’t bring my own food for lunch, I love to have anything from Back Alley Bakery! They always have amazing & healthy options!

Passing through and I stopped here for lunch. Highly recommended. I had the Tuscan Turkey Panini--so good! Followed that with a piece of the Strawberry Foster Cake. Very yummy as a summer dessert. I'm going to make it a point to come back.

The gluten free carrot cake was to die for. I'd drive here from Omaha just for that. They catered two meals for us and both were outstanding. I'll be going back!!

We made a quick trip to Hastings to run to Gary Michael’s and came to get a quick bite to eat! Today they has a special menu and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. They helped me customize a salad! Although the blueberry salad sounded fantastic - I don’t do sugars and so they were able to come up with a salad just for me! I was so grateful and highly recommend this local Hastings business! They are known for their amazing bread but If you haven’t experienced this quaint place in down town Hastings - we highly encourage you to give it a try!!

We went at 11am on Saturday breakfast ended and lunch started. It was very busy. Everyone was working together and friendly. Great food and service. Sweet potato soup was delicious.

A popular eatery in downtown Hastings. The present owner just took over last month, but things were humming along quite well. There are wonderful baked goods for take away and deliciously satisfying breakfasts. And good coffee!

I loved this place. I will male it a habit to stop by on regular basis.
We had lunch and everything we ordered was fabulous.
Then you have to leave a little spot for dessert, I had the pecan role, and boy, was ot good.

Wonderful homemade food, usually with a little twist. Great! Rotating specials! It's also a very busy bakery with wonderful pastries and bread! Will definitely go back again!

Rock solid, I can depend on a delicious lunch every time. The desert baked items are dangerously delicious with a changing selection with options that never seem to end. The friendly staff is always stellar. Truly a gem.

Stopped in for dessert options for Easter. What a fantastic place! Loved the decor! It was extremely busy but experienced great customer service and LOVED the variety of options available! Will definitely drive the extra miles to come back! Keep up the great work!
