West New York Parking Auth

Honestly I buy a town street parking sticker for like $10 per year, and I park like an experienced driver not like I just arrived from a third world country. Haven't gotten a ticket in years. Staff is super friendly. No complaints.

I've been living in WNY for five years. The parking authority is fine. You can buy an overnight pass with a credit card at any time, even after the office is closed (vending machine out front). Yes, parking here is pretty awful, but that's not the Authority's fault. I've only ever gotten tickets for forgetting to move my car for the sweeper or parking a non-resident car during resident parking hours. It's a tough situation for everyone and it seems like they try to do their best.

I am surprised at the reviews (although it is largely from folks being ticketed) My experience with the staff has been that they are largely courteous respectful and helpful I've had my share of parking tickets for street parking (not moving in time) which is why the quarterly municipal parking lot is a big help

Got a parking ticket in front of an illegible sign. Brought it in, showed the picture, and the girls were fast at rectifying it.

Always in and out. Never takes too long. I’ve never had an issue with the staff. But since I have to go there every year to renew, you never know, my rating could change.

If you're going in for an easy task (parking permit renewals, etc), it really isn't that bad. In my experience, they have tried to help, especially if you explain that you're new to the area. It goes a long way to be respectful and courteous. They tend to be more helpful when they see someone is trying to be cordial.

Permit picked up same day as e-mail with all required attachments.

was able to reach someone in the office by phone and they said to use the online portal to renew. The person was polite, helpful and nice enough although I couldn't follow through on the instructions

Worthless office - no website updates.
No response to customer service ph #.
Closed until January 3, 2021. Why? someone please answer that.

Typical - government run, unaccountable, rude, corrupted and no one to compete against them.

imagine being right in front of your car and receiving a ticket and after informing the officer that this is your car, the officer, without an ounce of human decency ishrugs his shoulder and rudely places it under your windshield wiper instead of handing it to you.
