Sofrito

This place never disappoints. The prices are reasonable, the serving amount for 1 person is enough for two people.
It’s the only place I want to order from when I’m ordering out. The staff is very nice too. If you have a problem they will make it right.

I've come here a dozen times, at least, and always get the pernil. I have no need to try anything else. The flavor, spices and rice/beans are always on point. I've turned a coworker onto the food and now we try and go once a week. Others have mentioned the service being subpar or rude, but the ladies have always been nice and helpful. The more you come by and see them, the better. There is takeout and a handful of tables to dine-in. Sorry this review doesn't touch on the other food items but you won't be disappointed going with the pernil!

Absolutely delicious food on offer at this low-key Latin joint on Main Street! My family eats there at least a couple times a month, and we have never been disappointed. Arroz con gandules, lechon asado, maduritos and all the Dominican staples are daily on offer here. Can't go wrong with the soup of the day either!

This is the best Latin restaurant in town. The food is fresh daily and melts in your mouth. The hot table consists of pulled pork, chicken, and beef stew among other surprises. There is also a full menu. The price is right for such good food. The servers are always happy to see you and the chef owner is always there cooking up a storm. Do not miss this place if you are passing through or live/work in the area. You will become an instant regular.

Sofrito was very good! My husband was happy to have food and Country Club soda from his native country. The food was fresh and very good!

I got here just before closing and there were still quite a few tables eating and being served.
My skirt steak, Churrasco for you Latinos like me, was amazing. Perfectly seasoned and served medium rare, as steak should be!
My parents live nearby, I told them they had to try it! Very cozy place.

I love this place. I'm not Dominican but I've been to D.R. many times and one of my favorite dish is los 3 golpes. Well this place is by far the closest you can get to Authentic Dominican food. I ordered 3 golpes for lunch with a Cafe con leche. They followed my instructions to the T. The cafe con leche was dark like I like it and with evaporated milk (carnation). I highly recommend this place. The 3 golpes was delicious.

It was so delicious. They give you so much food. The price is reasonable. We picked up our food, you can smell the food even in your car. The odor made your mouth water. It's been awhile that we had Latin food from outside taste this good. Especially from my town.

The service is great. The young ladies are always attentive of your needs. The food is delicious and makes your feel like it's home cooked "just like mamma use to make it". I have recommended it to my friends and they loved it as well. I am definitely returning and would recommend it to anyone of any ethnicity.

I enjoy myself here because it was quite and the food was good too. The beans and rice hit the spot! Service was good and friendly. I was able to park my semi at the Vince Lombardi Service Area and take a Uber there in 10 minutes.

Delicious breakfast, authentic Dominican mangu. For some reason I wasn't crazy about the lunch, didn't taste like Dominican food, yellow rice and chicken were a bit bland, and I thought the beans were not good at all. But overall food looks appetizing and I know this place is always busy. I always go for the mangu breakfast and fresh lemonade (delicious ).

Best Dominican restaurant if you are in the mood for some real Spanish food you have to go to sofrito it's the best restaurant I ever found. The food is great and the priced are affordable and the service is quite nice. The drinks and desserts are the best. So this is probably the best Dominican food I have had in a long time.

The food is so good! Sometimes I'll walk to Sofrito with my brother with 10 dollars in my pocket. My usual order is 4 empanadas/patelitos de carne (highly reccomend!), and the 10 is enough. They also have Country Club soda which is a staple in Latinx culture. Only basic Spanish is needed to order, and if you don't understand it, that's nothing a Google Translate search can't fix :)

Buen sabor del pollo horneado ,en realidad recomendable. Sabor a pollo al carbon . Really good. I bought food for my family and it knocked down two other places we normally buy from . Open on Sundays ,that's another plus. 👍🏻

I love their food! Today I bought habichuelas con dulce and they were out of this world. I wish Sofrito was closer to my home.

Great food. I usually eat the pork ribs, they are amazing. Any juice they make is amazing too.

Best Latin food hands down. Affordable dishes filled with so much taste. Truly recommend.
