Be careful. Ask for a written quote upfront or Art will take you to the cleaners. Our bill was nearly $500 to disconnect and reconnect 3 wires and do an estimate for another project (which, BTW we later got a free estimate from another electrician).

When we asked for a breakdown of the invoice, he was offended and dared to tell us that he was here for 5 hours (again, to disconnect and reconnect 3 wires and do a 30-45 minute estimate). In truth, maybe he was here for 3 hours but a chunk of the time was spent chatting. We took it for friendliness at first, but in hindsight we realized he was running the clock since he was billing by the hour.

In the end, I don’t know what’s more unethical — that Art charged us for time he didn’t do or that he claimed it took 5 hours to do a simple job.
