Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott North Bergen

We have been treated well by the staff here, and they always make us feel welcomed. This particular time they gave us a room upgrade at no extra cost, which we greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. We like that this location is near the bus stop so we can easily get into the city. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space.

My experience with this hotel was great...!!! My room was very clean. The bathroom was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The shower had shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. The water pressure was a little rough, but I really didn't care about that. It worked fine.
The customer service was outstanding...!!! Everyone was super friendly and helpful...!!!

The FREE breakfast was basic, but good...!!!

My wife and I were going to a concert and wanted to spend the day in Brooklyn NY before the show. Everything worked so well. The hotel was 12 miles from the show and we saved a ton of money. We will definitely stay at this hotel again...!!!

Downloaded app to request extra amenities. Room was extremely clean, linen, floors and bathroom. Comfortable beds. They even had complimentary toothpaste and toothbrushes. TV had cable and streaming apps. So it was very nice and affordable. Tip your housekeeper/Maid by leaving money in front of your room TV.

Wow... the service was great, and the rooms were beautiful and smelled so clean and amazing. I was impressed. Loved my stay will definitely return..soon!!!!

The Fairfield Inn North Bergen exceeded my expectations. My suite, as well as the common areas were clean and well appointed. Easy parking, friendly staff, and a decent breakfast made my stay rememberable.

My wife and I were road tripping. We chose this hotel based on the location, and free parking. We stayed two nights. The hotel is nice, it was clean, and they had a good free breakfast. The parking was a little tight, but although we came home late each evening, we always got a space. All that was great, but the staff and customer service was the best, especially, Camilo, Giovanna and Chase, they each went above and beyond. When I called to ask for an early check in, Giovanna was very accommodating, she assured me it would be ready, when we arrived it was ready, and she checked us in with a smile. Camilo, was there to assist us in extending our reservation, although it was quite busy at that moment. (They do parking for cruise patrons and he was collecting tickets and handing out keys). He was friendly, he remained calm and cool. When I asked about parking, Chase walked me out front, to point out the overflow parking, and thoughtfully pointed out the sign, indicating parking reserved for area residents, so I would not get towed. They all were knowledgeable about the area, public transportation and the like. I will for sure be staying at this hotel again. Thank you

The customer service is excellent at this location. While everyone was great, I personally dealt with Che the most. His customer service was impeccable. He deserves a shout out.

Very convenient for trips to Northern NJ and NYC. Nice rooms, breakfast buffet and easy access to roads.

Awesome place to stay if you are visiting New York. There is toll going from NJ to NY but its worth it as the room rates are very good comparing with other similar hotels, with free self parking and breakfast included. Breakfast was simple but nice. Not sure why this is classed as a 2 star. Could easily be 3+ or 4 even

Super clean rooms, tasty breakfast and friendly staff. Highly recommend! Also quite a short bus ride from New York. Only minus were the shower heads, the water pressure was hard to control.

Always an excellent stay at this Fairfield. Super close and easy to get to NYC and near shops. The staff is always awesome. It's always my "go-to" hotel when I visit the area.

Hotel is luxury and located at perfect location across from NYC. Bus stop for Route # 127 is right across the street which takes you to Times Square in 30 Mins for only $3.50. Target, Walmart, Homedepot are all closeby as well as different dining options.

Rooms are spacious and new. Lobby is great and they have great Breakfast options as well.

Internet can be a bit choppy and freezes often. For Breakfast, they currently offer Egg, Cheese & Ham sandwiches in addition to many other options. It will be helpful that they also offer just Egg n Cheese without Ham sandwiches to cater to Vegetarian needs. Hotel is located on a hill, so get ready for walk up a steep hill in case you are walking to hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We needed to stay here while our apartment got fumigated. Rooms were very spacious and clean. The breakfast was modest, but satisfied our needs. Staff was very friendly, and more than willing to accommodate our family. All together a great stay.

Everything was clean. Greeted upon arrival (not with exuberance, but greeted with kindness). There was adequate parking. There seemed to be some good security features in place. The breakfast was good for a complimentary fare. It is very close to a police station and we did hear sirens but they didn't wake us up. It is not a walkable area. I would stay here again.

Great overall. It's nice that parking is free. (They have parking in the 1st floor too, apart from the really crowded ground lot) Korean town is next to it, and the American Dream Mall, amusement parks are in 13 min away. The only suggestion I have is to have more menus for the breakfast.

Neighborhood looks a little sketchy, but nice place. Very secure parking. No restaurant onsite, but multiple places w good food nearby that deliver. Shuttle to ship pier w great service.
