Caffe Maria

Such a cute cafe, really good coffee and the barista came over to me while I was sitting and studying and offered to refill my water. Can’t wait to come back! The music was a little loud but overall nice atmosphere.

Rolando runs a sweet coffee shop with coffee from a dozen countries. If want full rich flavor ask for the true Americano!

His croissants are fantastic, I love his ham egg and cheese served on a croissant. His thin crust pizzas also don't disappoint.

The atmosphere is great with nice chairs and couches and a beautiful large wood table.

Nice place to hang, and he's got regular events going on. Live performance in Union City!

Excellent quality coffee, nice atmosphere, super friendly staff, had the dry cappuccino and a shot of expresso both made from freshly grinded coffee.

Coffee Lover's Paradise

This café is a true gem for coffee lovers. The cozy atmosphere and high-quality coffee make it a must-visit spot. The staff is friendly and the espresso is fantastic. It's my go-to place for a perfect cup of coffee.

UPDATE: FRIDAY, JUNE 23, 2023, 10:47PM: Tonight, Caffe Maria proved they are a friend and ally to the LGBTQIAPlus Community by hosting the first ever drag show in Union City, New Jersey. Also, there are wonderful new staff members, and new tea offerings. The prices remain reasonable, the food remains excellent, the service remains outstanding and it remains a pleasure for me to visit, every chance I can.

UPDATE: THURSDAY, APRIL 20, 2023, 6:13PM: The only change I know of is that the hours on Thursdays are 10AM-6PM. It was 10AM-5PM. Other than that change, the customer service remains excellent, the coffees and teas are delicious, as is the pizza, the pastries, and I look forward to that kickass meatball sandwich, next time.

UPDATE: SUNDAY, JANUARY 8, 2023, 1:32PM: In honor of my Birthday, I visited Caffe Maria, which was interesting, as the first time I visited Caffe Maria was on my Birthday in January, 2020. The food remains as delicious, as usual, the coffee remains amazing and the service remains excellent, as usual.

UPDATE: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2022, 6:05PM: Today was my first time back at Caffe Maria since they reopened, about two weeks ago. It makes very happy to see not every business closed its doors permanently after the covid19 lockdowns of 2020. At the present time, Caffe Maria is open only on Saturdays, 10AM-9PM, and Sundays, 11AM-3PM. The coffee is even better than I remember it, and now they offer pizza. Yes, PIZZA! I look forward to returning, ASAP AND STAT!!

I was on my way to an appointment and found Caffe Maria. After reading what another Google Local Guide wrote about it, I promised myself I would return when I had more time. That happened to be on my Birthday, this year. I was impressed by the decor, the safety dividers, the cleanliness and the professionalism and politeness of the staff. The macchiato was delicious and the espresso cake was out of this world. It was also nice to have the option of dining in. Then again, at the time I visited, my life partner and I were the only customers. I look forward to returning earlier in the day, the next time I visit, because I shall visit again.

Love everything about this Cafe! Great coffee, incredible service and the bestest vibe. We come from NZ and it felt so uniquely warm, generous and like we were home. Thank you thank you thank you.

Lovely new coffee spot. The well lit and beautiful space drew us in, and we were met by some fun, passionate owners. They gave us yummy free pizza since they had just opened and were testing the pizza recipe. Coffee was good. Vibes were good.

Good service good food, had tye ube milkshake while my wife had the mango milkshake and it was fantastic. One of the best ube milkshake I've had. The staff was friendly

Wow, i wanted real coffee and wasn't sure if i would be able to find it in my neighborhood. i was wrong, this place is incredible, i was able to choose from many varieties and roasts and settled on what smelled just right for my latte and thank god the barista threw a killer shot for my latte, awesome...real coffeeeee finally. they also.made a yummy croissant egg and cheese, very impressed

Delicious Coffee and amazing costume service!

This place is one of the best, one of my favorite! I accidentally found this place because it was close to my Airbnb home. Got ice lattes with different flavors, all good! Bakery is all good as well. The owner was sooooo nice. Highly recommend!!!

This place has the BEST frappes ! Especially their Salted Caramel Frappe, which I always get. Not only that, but the atmosphere feels like home. Very comfortable.

Very friendly and nice people. Brownies are yummy! Coffee comes in nice cup and delicious.

Super cozy and welcoming place. The owners are so lovely. The tea was soothing and had a nice flavor. They warmed up a nice Ube pastry as well to go with it.

I live a bit further out but plan to make a trip back because of the atmosphere there. Plus, definitely want to go back to try their pizza as well. It smelled yummy when they were making their order

Really excited to see Caffe Maria open again! Friendly atmosphere and owners/staff, good coffee with a wide selection of beans, and you can tell they're definitely putting a lot of work and thought into their current and future menu. Will definitely be back!
