Great place to stay while in the big apple. New, modern hotel just across the Hudson from NYC. Short walk to $9 per trip ferry. The continental breakfast was great and the rooms where stylish, clean, modern and very comfortable. For those that like a morning run/walk or an evening stroll there was a terrific nearby riverside trail and plenty of shops, stores along the way.

This hotel is AhMayZhing! Stayed here for my birthday and the hotel didn't disappoint!! From the friendly service at the front desk especially Kathy who is so professional and has such a pretty smile that will brighten up any guest day upon check in.

I loved my spacious room with all of the accommodations I have at home and the views are spectacular!

The location was definitely a 10! Thanks Christopher for your knowledge and advice of places to go in the area when I was looking for a Jazz spot! I want to thank everyone at the hotel for making my birthday awesome an extra special1!!!

2 minute walk to the ferry, takes you straight to Hell’s Kitchen in 10 minutes. Awesome view at night time and front desk was very nice and friendly. Clean room. Highly recommend staying here rather than paying extra fees for hotel in nyc

There is such much that was right about our 14 day stay at this hotel! Let me just summarize that we had travel and relocation difficulties that were very stressful but the staff at the hotel made it so much better. The staff, specifically, Kathy, Michael and Chris S. were beyond professional to our family and others. We observed these 3 make guest feel comfortable and try to assuage their concerns; we experienced this personally as well. Literally, each time they communicated with me I felt special and as the most important guest, until I observed them treat others this same manner. My only complaint would be that we were all special LOL! I recommend the hotel that is pretty and has an amazing staff.

It is to me the best hotel to go to if interested in NYC without the astromical taxes and fees. Very very good and had breakfast as well. Right in front is the Ferry that takes you the Pier next to the Intrepid carrier for $9 a trip every 20 mins

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Residence Inn by Marriott in New Jersey, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I have to say that I almost canceled our stay after reading some of the bad reviews, but after seeing that most of the hotels had some what similar bad reviews I decided to give it a shot.

I’m happy to say that our stay was excellent! The front desk gentlemen was very friendly, room was clean, parking was at the same building. There is a New York water fairy that’s right in front of the hotel that will take you straight to Manhattan. SOJO SPA is 10 min away. Lastly breakfast is included, it’s simple and it’s good enough. Overall it was very good experience and price was right!

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights for our New york visit. The location of the hotel is really good. You have the NY waterways right in front of the hotel. One can find a ferry to New York downtown every 15 to 20 minutes. The port imperial bus stop is also right near the hotel plus the metro. We used bus no 159 r for port authority stop. Now talking about the room, it was super clean and sparkly. The breakfast was good. Had a nice stay. I recommend the place to everyone 😊 who wants a good view of the New York City. Next time I come to New York I'm gonna stay here again. Last but not the least I have to say this, the view from the hotel is mesmerizing. There are benches on the walkways. After the days hustle and bustle just sit in one of the benches on the walkways and relax watching the New York City view. I promise you 'll feel so comfortable and happy and calm.

Great location steps away from the ferry terminal. Attached $22/ night garage and weird 6th floor lobby check in. Follow the garage signage..only certain floors are residence inn parking and only one of the elevator serves the hotel. Just pay attention. Room is very clean and very modern. Housekeeping was daily and decent. They forgot to leave me bath towels on final servicing..a/c is decent if a little loud. Marriott status acknowledged and breakfast was decent but confined to Marriott usual prepacked sandwiches...

Stayed here twice within a year for rock the bell concert in Queens NY. Chris who works at the desk on both stays went over and beyond to make our stay and outing enjoyable. First stay we couldn't get out concert tickets to print. Chris came over spent over 20 minutes helping us he figured out how to print our tickets and we made the furry on time. The second stay we was getting out to see the city was gonna catch the bus. Chris came out was on his lunch break and saw us at the bus stop asked where we was headed and told us we was at the wrong stop. Showed us to the train and gave us directions on where to go and good eating establishments. He is the best will definitely return. Chris is a young very knowledgeable African American. The best.
The hotel is accessible to the furry. Rooms are comfortable and the staff is very helpful. Love this hotel.

My family and I visited this hotel this past weekend for my 7 year old’s birthday/spring break vacation to Nickelodeon Universe. The hotel an rooms were very clean. The gentleman at the front desk upon arrival was very friendly and accommodating. Also the view of New York from the hotel was amazing. The location was also very convenient, only 15 minutes away from American Dream and the ferry into NYC is directly across the street. Parking price was also very reasonable! I would definitely visit again!

We had booked an overnight stay here and it was a flawless trip. For context, we have kids so they had no problem accommodating extra sheets and pack and play. The breakfast, while agreed, wasn't the best with just a few select options, the kids liked the cereal and it was included within the stay. The parking was perfect but a bit expensive at $22 for 24 hours. All in all, friendly staff, clean rooms, close proximity to NYC and American Dream Mall.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Residence Inn, a hotel nestled by the enchanting Hudson River. From the convenient access to New York City to the exceptional service provided by the lovely front desk manager, Gabriel, my experience at this hotel was truly outstanding. Without a doubt, it deserves a well-deserved five-star rating. The location of Residence Inn was an absolute gem. With a commute of less than 15 minutes by bus or ferry, I had the privilege of exploring the vibrant streets of New York City effortlessly. Being able to immerse myself in the city's energy and return to the tranquility of the hotel was a delightful combination. Gabriel (I think was her name; she had red hair and was the day manager at the front desk), was an absolute delight. Her warm personality and efficient service left a lasting impression. She exuded professionalism and was always ready to assist with any inquiries, offering valuable recommendations and insider tips. Gabriel's genuine care for the guests added a personal touch to my stay and made me feel truly welcome. Everything about my stay at Residence Inn was impeccable. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and had everything you would ever need. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep, and the amenities provided were of the highest quality. Whether it was the complimentary Wi-Fi, the well-equipped fitness center (with free towels and waters!), or the complimentary breakfast every morning, every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations. The attention to detail displayed by the hotel staff was exceptional. From the prompt room service to the many breakfast offerings, every need was anticipated and met with a smile. The dedicated housekeeping team maintained a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the breathtaking view of the Hudson River while eating breakfast every morning. The hotel's ideal location provided picturesque vistas, especially during sunset. I cherished moments spent by the riverside, enjoying the tranquility and marveling at the beauty of nature. Additionally, the Residence Inn had recently undergone a modern makeover, giving it a fresh and new look. The hotel's renovations were evident throughout the property, with a contemporary and stylish design present in the lobby, hallways, and rooms. The modern aesthetic and updated furnishings added an extra level of comfort and sophistication to my stay, further enhancing the overall experience. Furthermore, the hotel's convenient location offered another advantage. The ferry and bus terminal were just a short walk away, taking less than 5 minutes to reach. This proximity made transportation incredibly convenient, allowing for easy access to explore the surrounding areas and providing seamless connections to New York City. The close proximity of the ferry and bus terminal was a significant benefit, saving time and making travel arrangements hassle-free. In conclusion, my stay at Residence Inn was truly memorable. The combination of the hotel's modern and new look, along with its proximity to the ferry and bus terminal, added tremendous value to my experience. The convenient location, the exceptional service provided by Gabriel and the entire staff, and the overall comfort and quality of the hotel made it a five-star experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Residence Inn to anyone seeking a remarkable stay by the Hudson. I am already looking forward to my next visit and the opportunity to create more wonderful memories at this remarkable establishment.

Great hotel with a great location. Night desk keeper was quite rde and obviously pre occupied but overall the experience was great. Rooms facing the water so the morning and night views are absolutely beautiful! The ferry terminal is literally across the street with an 8 min ride to the heart of everything. This location was so convenient and affordable. I absolutely will be staying again! Photo attached is a view from the room.

Really great hotel! It made our stay in New York more relaxed and special. Very clean and modern suite, and kitchen had all utensils necessary for cooking and eating, dishwasher was also there, and washing powder provided. Personnel was also very friendly and helpful. New York city easy to reach by public transport, bus or ferry. The view of New York was stunning.

Excellent hotel at reasonable price in the NY area (actually in NJ across the Hudson). Huge rooms with kitchen. Parking lot in place. Very close to the bus station and the ferry boat. The breakfast is (for me) the only downside of this place, weak and repetitive.

This hotel is so pretty. It’s right by the water.. the only thing is, they don’t have any rooms that are waterfront directly but you can definitely see the water from the side window. The suite is so spacious and updated. I love how it has a full kitchen and a huge refrigerator. The woman at the front desk was very polite. Parking is $22 in the garage that’s located right outside of the hotel. Make sure you let the front desk person know that you will be going in & out so you can retrieve a parking pass for a one time fee. It’s very close to NYC!! Complimentary breakfast… don’t expect a full meal. It was breakfast sandwiches, cereal, quick meals. Still good :) the only thing is I wish they had a pool but it was still a great stay. This will be my new go to hotel when I come into town. Thank you Residence Inn!!!
