Harry’s Food and Drink

This restaurant got me impressed with the food quality and service. I did not expected to be this good. Our server went above and beyond and the food was unexpectedly great. Love the classic theme and the music choice. I did recommended it already to some friends. I am not local anymore, but greetings from Florida and great job.

Now that I’ve eaten both at the restaurant and ordered take out, I can give a full review. Solid, solid neighborhood joint. I’ve been in North Bergen 27 years and it’s so nice to have these quaint, comfortable spots with GOOD food! Most of the quaint yummy spots are closer to my house, but I have zero problem walking the 20+ minutes to have their food.

Get the tacos! Seriously, get two orders of the tacos. The mini lobster rolls are SO GOOD. The mac & cheese is delicious. The brisket sliders are also delicious.

Incredible all around. Clearly the owners and chef care about what they're doing. Atmosphere is cozy, music is good, waiters are super friendly, and the food and drinks are incredible.

This place has a nice cocktail atmosphere with one of the best services you’ll find in Northbergen/West New York/ Gutenberg / Union City.

Their appetizers are amazing, from the octopus, to the sliders and the truffle fries, to ever plate in their menu.

The drinks are amazing, they do have a variety of beer and craft beers as well as your classic cocktails such as, espresso martini 🍸, mojitos, margaritas, old fashion, etc.

Venture into Harry’s in North Bergen, an establishment that might appear unassuming, yet within its walls lies a feast as compelling as a King novel. My girlfriend, with an appetite for the extraordinary, found herself ensnared by their culinary narrative. The steak and eggs, draped in a chimi sauce, were a plot twist as satisfying as the climax of a thriller. The atmosphere in the place is amazing, the staff are friendly with the costumers and have great communication with each other. The food was out of this world!!
However over all of this I’m going to give a special shout-out to my server Jocelyn who is the sweetest soul I’ve met, she always approached us with a smile and a witty comment to make our day. Never met someone which such a beautiful aura and personality. All she did was serve us, but that was enough!!

I had such a fun night catching up with my close friends the night before. Slept late, and we all wanted something brunch but not too heavy or overwhelming. One of my friend Sarah really wanted a bloody Mary, and I am so glad she kept mentioning that because if she didn't, I would have never thought to get it for myself. The drink was extremely tasty and flavorful. Definitely not watered down or anything, but it could be a bit more generous with more vodka. My friend and I had two each, and we didn't feel anything. And no, we aren't alcoholics. Calm down now. But yes, I would definitely order it up again for more in the near future.

The cauliflower nuggets... these are soooooo good!! You must try these.
All three of us got different dishes, and we all had to share since they were all so good.

When reviewing restaurants l, my ultimate question is, would I come back to this place? And yes, I most certainly will, and it will be very soon. That's how good it was.

The staff was so fun and energetic. I was taken back on finding such an amazing establishment in the area! Good food, good drinks, good time! The food was so interesting, from traditional Carbonara to a to-die for espresso rubbed pork belly I was in heaven!

Harry’s has become our go to weekend spot for almost a year now and they’re still on fire!!! Everything we’ve had from the cocktails to the food are executed really well. Waitstaff are trained efficiently and are conscientious. Ask for Sophia, she’s the best!

Seriously, amazing cauliflower here. Are usually have buffalo cauliflower, but this has an Asian twist on it and I would literally die for the recipe. I even left something here in the hostess tried to chase us down. Apparently, she couldn’t find us, but I’m happy that we got what we need it back in this restaurant definitely assured that!

Always great food, great atmosphere and the drinks are top notch. I tried a drink of theirs with this cinnamon rum called Devil’s Reef and it was so good. Idk what else was in it. Their Mac and cheese are to die for. Steak is cooked to perfection. I even had my wife’s baby shower here in their private area upstairs last year. Love this place.

EXCELLENT. Everything about Harry’s gastro pub is excellent. We’ve been coming here since it’s opened for almost two years now. Amazing vibe, incredible American food, courteous service, owner is super nice; always on the floor always stops by to say hello and to make sure everyone is happy.

Definitely try their Brisket Sliders for appetizer. It’s insanely good.

The place has a cool but mega friendly hipster-vibe. Great bar, great drinks. Great playlist. Great lighting.
Place is perfect for family dinners, date night with your spouse, first date, second date, night out with friends, buddies AND - they also have cool space upstairs – ideal for private parties. They also host themed parties in there. Yes, I am in love with this place. LOL

LOVE IT HERE. We've become regulars, which is something we never really expected to do anywhere, but it's hard not to be a regular here. Amazing food, with a variety of options to cater to different dietary needs. I bring every friend I have here and put them on to this place as well. Now my friends even suggest coming here before I do. Favs: Meatballs, Cauliflower Nuggs., Chicken Sandwich, Brisket Sliders, Mac & Cheese, Steak Frites, Harry's Burger, Calamari, and that's just off the top of my head. Amazing & versatile because if you're not that hungry get Cauliflower Nuggets & if you're starving you'll be full by any of the sandwiches or entres. As for the drinks, amazing!! but I need you to know the Passionfruit Mojito is top tier<3. Thank you to everyone on the staff that makes this place enjoyable& welcoming, love the manager & the bartender :)

We went for brunch with friends from out of town. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and made to feel welcomed! Love the decor, the music and the overall vibe of Harry’s! You can taste the quality ingredients in each dish. The menu has something for everyone. The service was impeccable. Thank you Cellio ( young man who recently joined the team) We will be back!

First time in the NYC/NJ area and googled places to eat and this was one of the closest to my hotel and rated high so I had to swing by. Harry’s is a very low key place with good vibes. Food/Service was excellent and would definitely visit again if I’m in the area for sure. I’m jealous of the locals because you can for sure eat here at least once a week!!!!!

Warm and friendly service. Brunch was scrumptious. Best home fries this side of the Hudson, and huevos rancheros delicious. Highly recommend this place for the perfect Sunday or any day brunch. Definitely going back!
