My son and I had a great Dinner time last Thursday, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The inside restaurant looked cute, chairs were well spaced arrange and I loved every corner I looked was extremely clean and organized.
The staff were super friendly, attentive knowledgeable about their Menu they offer and the food was wonderful, super YUMMY 😋 😊 Food Price $$ was affordable and I was pleased considering they served me a great amount of food to fulfill my BEAST HUNGER!!.
I highly recommend this nice spot to eat in.

10/10 , if you want real authentic Spanish food come here that’s all ima say . The Shakes are delicious too. For my meal I had chicken w yellow rice and sweet plantains for the side , and for the shake passion fruit ! The best of the best they give Large portions as well ! My boyfriend had Pernil with yellow rice and red beans , he loved it as well. Over all Great service, great food !!

Ambience is ok. Food is very tasty and quantity is enough. We get 2 sides(Yellow rice/White rice and Black beans) with every order. We get many varieties in menu and taste is good for most of the menu.In desserts Tiramasu (coffee)will be awsome taste and definitely have it

Caters to Hispanics, Asians and American palates. Some of the menu choices can be found in more expensive restaurants like ox tail, pork lechon (shoulders), Cuban dishes different and unusual sandwich choices is something to raise ones taste buds. The location is in one of Jersey City's high traffic and difficult to park areas during lunch and dinner time. But given the tasty food served, with expresso coffee and affordable prices, looking for parking is worth the trip. The restaurant is clean with courteous staff to cater to customers cravings.

First time eating here.
Waited a solid 15 minutes for my order, which in Hangry terms is a solid hour,
But as soon as I got into my car with my food it took 5 seconds for the aromas to fill up and I couldn't wait to get home because I was already drooling.
Basic rice and beans nothing crazy but the yucca fries were super crispy even getting home and eating 20m later.
That chicken tho??

The food was incredible!!! We ate a mofongo con camarones and it was the best mofongo I have ever had.

It was my first time in the place. I went with my mom. She had the Lentil soup and I had the Cuban Sandwich and watermelon juice. The service was prompt and the servers were very helpful. My mom raved about the Lentil soup, best she had in a while.

I just started working in the area, so I've been trying out new places to eat and I think I found my go to spot. It's very clean from what I can see and the staff is so polite and professional. The food was delicious and a lot cheaper than some other places I tried in the area.

Late night visit and the food was very good. Had oven baked chicken, white rice, maduros, salad. For $28 I fed the wife and 2 kids. Will definitely return for another meal.

My family and I come here all the time. We love the service and the food is superb. I literally never have any complaints. The young waitress there knows my husbands order by heart and he is quite a pest when it comes to ordering lol.

Ordered on Door Dash and the food was phenomenal! We've tried other Latin food in the area and Pio Pio surpasses by far. Perfect on seasoning and flavor! Definitely earned a repeat customer!

One of my weekly dinner joints that has hands down one of my favorite meals! Portions are good for price and staff if dining is friendly. Highly recommended!

Large variety of spanish food. I am a big time fan of their chicken in mushroom sauce. Worth the visit. They have amazing sandwiches if u r a sandwich fan!!!!

I love this place! It is affordable and the food ever disappoints. I have been a loyal consumer since I moved in the Heights, they have the best mangu in town!

My favorite place for sangria its one of the best I've tasted in NY beside the chicken. They have an amazing green sauce that goes well with the chicken.

I eat here all the time you will not find a place with the quality of food and reasonable prices as this place. Not fancy but they have good service and the people are friendly
