This was the coolest, old-school Post Office I have ever been to. Unfortunately, they only had two front desk Associates, but coming here was worth it because they tried to preserve the historic building and mailboxes.

Came to the post office today to make a return. Migdalia was very friendly, she helped me with the envelope, explained which one is paid by the merchant, patiently helped with all the labels. Very pleasant experience! You made my day with your positivity and smile!👌

My building conceirge mistakenly rejected my package. We went to the USPS this morning, and the lady named Magdalia was super friendly and helpful. She went to the back twice to help me find the package. I really appreciate her patience.

They have good service. There are a variety of different packing materials here. You can have your pick. Way cheaper than all other means of courier. PS: Get your own pens and tape.

I came in the morning of 11/28/2022 because I made the mistake of not labeling my wedding save the dates correctly and was helped by a beautiful woman, by the name of Kiana ! Wow! She was absolutely amazing!! She made sure I got in touch with the mail carrier in my neighborhood, so I can retrieve 42 save the date invitations, the mail carrier who was also amazing, met me at the mailbox in which I drop the wrong invitations and I was able to retrieve them all back!!! Wow!! You have no idea what you have done for me. I wish you both happy holidays and thank you for being absolutely amazing!!! 5 stars to my neighborhood post office!! 🥰🥰🫶🏽

I saw the negative reviews and I dreaded coming in to mail a package.

I’m not sure if they hired new people or something but the older man and younger woman working today were both extremely fast and very kind. There was nobody ahead of me in line when I got there and they were fast, knowledgeable, and helpful.

I was out in 3 minutes when I budgeted two hours just in case. I am honesty so shocked and happy. Thank you for helping me today.

Not sure why there are bad reviews. I have lived in the area for a good amount of years. I know usually there is a long line but the service is decent. The lady who helped me even offered me a better option with more savings and helped me to unpack and pack my shipments. This is definitely one of the better USPS offices here!

I am writing this review to thank Judy for her great service handling my passport application. Judy was very friendly, sweet, and helpful. The photo I brought was in wrong size. She not only advised where I can take passport photo nearby but also kindly offered to take care of my application again on the same day if I can come back with another photo. I appreciate her service as I don't have to go through the hassles making another appointment and making another visit. What Judy did saves a lot of my time.
And Judy was smiley throughout the entire time and comforted me when I waited.

I feel inclined to write a review because I was nervous to come to this post office after seeing some other horrible reviews on Google. Yes, the wait time was long, but the employees were incredibly kind and friendly, patient with all of their customers, and apologized to each new person for the wait. With everyone stuck at home, it makes sense wait times would be a little bit longer. Social distancing procedures were in place across the board and Janett, who helped me, was so friendly and thorough!

Reading others people's reviews made me write mine. The staff was friendly and doing their best to be efficient with their time and resources. Yes, there was a line but there is always a line in the USPS. I found them to be much faster compared to USPS I have been to in GA, SC, IN, NY, and PA. I mailed out 12 packages to 12 different people and I have never had it go so fast as when I went to the JC post office.

We served by a lady with a glamorous humour (but if you don't have a sense of humour you might think she was rude.) She was actually taking care of my package and making sure everything is filled on the form correctly.

55 small parcels to mail. Each one slightly different weight. All required individually weighing, addresses typing in and various other steps. I was dreading it. However Janett was fantastic, professional, and good company for the 20 minutes it took. The post master was busy trying to bring the line under control and helped out himself by scanning boxes. I've been here on a handful of occasions over the last 6 years for passports, packages, etc. never been disappointed.

Yesterday I had to go to drop some stuff and i was really stressed given the reviews. However, my personal experience was great. The two ladies that helped me to fill the forms and actually ship the envelops were amazing and really helpful

Awesome place to do a quick drop a package. I dont know why others reviewed as staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. The lady who serviced my request is super friendly and bouncing with positive energy. It's wrong to tag entire USPS stores as boring. May be the time of my visit around 2:00 PM counts. Couldn't comment on how tough it would be during rush hours. Best USPS i have seen in jersey City.

I've been here multiple times to ship packages. The people are very helpful, efficient and friendly. I'm pretty surprised by all the other reviews.
I usually come before 10 AM when the line isn't too long. The rates are good- like

A beautiful historic building located on the corner of Montgomery & Washington. East to find. Walking distance from a couple of hotels in case you are visiting and need to shipping options. Clean. Easy to navigate inside the building. Supplies are provided. Customer service counters available. Covid-19 protocols are in place. Thank you.

Just dropped off two packages for delivery next week and the Postal Clerk who helped me, Ms. Landson (sorry if that is not spelled right), could not have been more helpful! I asked for advice and she gave me several options. She was very patient and very knowledgeable. There was another Postal Clerk who was very helpful to those waiting in line. She directed some toward an automated machine and even lent her pen to several people on line who forgot theirs! Best USPS experience I have had in some time!

I really like their service at this center. The staff is so courteous and helpful. Not much wait times and neither any delays. Wish they were open until 6 pm on weekdays. All those who rated this center badly I hope you also get similar experience as mine.

Expected nothing and got a LOT. They were really on their game today. Best experience in years. I hope they appreciate what seem to be new employees because they were a hard left turn from the previous experiences. Really happy. Thank you.
