Romeo's Pizza

Romeos is an all around solid restaurant. They have an extensive menu and everything is delicious. From their pizza, or garlic knots to pasta entrees, to their subs and wraps, you can't go wrong. Their gourmet slices are HUGE with so many different options..baked ziti, chicken bacon ranch, bbq.. etc. I no longer live in NJ and have yet to find a restaurant like Romeo's near me. Whenever I'm in NJ, I always make multiple trips, even if it's out of my way. I even stop again on my way back home just to bring back multiple menu items with me! The staff is great. The inside is really nice as it was more recently renovated. They have seating outside and inside with an option to have a waitress, or to serve yourself. Will always recommend Romeos!

So pleasurable food very authentic fresh hot on arrival to the last mouth full what can I say was so delightful the first time I had to order again for my birthday. My regards to the cook and this establishment thanks.

Stop #14 on our Pizza Tour 2022 is Romeo's Pizzeria in Jamesburg, NJ. Located right on the main strip next to the railroad tracks, there is potential for some train watching if you're there at the right day/time.

Small place. Kind of hectic at the ordering counter when we were there (Noon...prime lunch time) but not bad. Only two small lunch tables in the counter area which felt a little cramped. Luckily, someone offered us their table as they were finishing up. They had an attached dining room which I guess can be used by slice customers, not sure. A lot of orders seemed to be to-go orders.

As for the pizza...today we got plain and pepperoni slices. Nice sized slices. More tasty thin crust. Nice crisp crust bottom due to the heat-up in the pizza oven. Crisp edge, chewy inside. Another great pizza for the folders out there. Good, balanced tomato sauce and great quality cheese. Sauce was lightly spiced, not too sweet or bitter. Overall, another VERY good pizza.

They have Pepsi products.

I’ve been trying a lot a pizzerias in the local areas and so far this place has the best pizza and food .

April 7, 2022 update. So dining in over the last 2 years has crushed many eatery's. Romeo's has thankfully survived. They did use the time that we could not go there and renovated the dining room and bathroom. Our party of 6 scored the much desired "round table in the back." EVERYTHING from my older post remains true and the food is as GOOD as we remembered😀. My in older post...A pizzaria with a intimate dining room that allows BYOB. We were group of 8 and ordered from the early bird special, that is quite extensive. Beverages are refilled with the 3 courses. Wait staff were attentive, helpful, and patient. Meals were served hot and all correct. Food was really good and I will be there again.

You know how sometimes when you pick up food from a restaurant and get home you realize the food was not from your order.... well, Romeo's went above and beyond! We picked up food and although it was very tasty it was not what we ordered but we did not want to go back or hassle. But low and behold, Romeo's sent a delivery person to our door with the correct order- without even a phone call from us. They were truly OUTSTANDING! Thanks so much.

Garlic knots were delicious, veal franchaise nicely done and of course dessert was delicious
3/3/2024 very busy and tight quarters. Tables for 2 in the center aisle, so there's people walking on both sides.
Staff need to smile more and stop forgetting to ask "if we need anything else"!! They drop off the food and run!
I didn't get cheese on my pasta, didn't get another drink- soda.
Food is good, not too expensive but cost has increased every where.
Good neighborhood place to go, quick good food

Just moved to the Jamesburg from the City & this is already our favorite pizza spot. The pizzas fantastic & its very clean inside! Biggest plus is that its open late every night. Have already been 3 times within two weeks

Been here a couple of times and had an excellent experience each time. It's BYOB so that's a great start, made better by the huge portions of delicious Italian fare. The food is very flavorful and more than you can handle in one sitting. It was all very reasonably priced too. While it is attached to a pizza place, the dining area is nice enough to enjoy non-pizza entrees. The service was fast and friendly so it's hard for me to say much more. Definitely try it! Highly recommended!

I was there for the Early Bird. Soup or Salad, numerous entrees, and desert. The cheese cake is very good and the cannolis large and delicious. The tomato sauce is not acidic but like a sweet Brooklyn sauce. Even with the increase in price a great value. Going to the restaurant for over 20 years.

My first order here was wonderful.. I placed my order in store and paid in full. Gave them the delivery date and time. They arrived exactly on time, and brought all the food into the house. Great 🍕....I ordered 8 different pies for my daughter's birthday🎉.... Buffalo chicken, chicken broccoli Alfredo, chicken vodka grandma, barbecue chicken, Grandma margherita, chicken Parm, and 2 regular... Everything was delicious😋.. oh and yes .a half tray of zuppa di mussels, just as good as the pizza..

Love getting food from Romeo as they make the best pizza in town. My all time favorite is vodka sauce pie and margarita, the service is awesome, and we love going to this place!!!

The staff here is amazing! The food is delicious. My favorite is the Chicken tortolini soup. I also love the penne vodka. My boyfriend and I always enjoy this place. They are always spot on with there food.

I was very surprised with the food.
The food was delicious and they serve you salad/soup and bread with your meal.
The service was great. The prices were very reasonable. They were always on top refilling your water.
I WILL definitely go back to this restaurant!

1st time trying this pizza and the guy Jimmy was so nice and polite and professional gave me a free slice to try out while I was waiting for my order when I saw them making my pizza I was like Oh my god it looks so good!! Best tasting pizza I've had in a long time! The pinwheel was amazing and so are the garlic knots the pizza we got was plain and Texas cheese fries pizza so delicious definitely recommend this pizza place they will be seeing alot of myself and my family!!! Great food with top notch service. The pizza is good but the dine in food is really some of the best food around. Understandably much of the dining room staff is younger kids (most probably in high school) but everyone does a great job. The few older kids are very attentive and helpful, they genuinely put in the effort for the customers. Great owner and friendly staff all around. I came here a week ago and had the server nick, he was exceptional and made sure our experience was great! Highly recommend !

Great food. Great dinner specials.

I've ordered take out and have dined in. Delivery takes a bit so order ahead. Location is always busy. Haven't had a bad dish yet!
