Sol Mexican Cantina

This mexican place is absolutely fantastic.

I loved everything about this place. First off, the service is amazing. The staff is kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable regarding the different items on the menu. Regarding the food, it was great. I had the salsa trio (all homemade on the premises). The chorizo street tacos were also very good.

Highly recommended to anyone in the area looking for a great place to enjoy authentic mexican food. I personally cannot wait to go back.

This was our first visit. The frozen margaritas were great and the food was better than we expected. Everything was nicely flavored, and the presentation and atmosphere were enjoyable. We will certainly go back. Quite inexpensive for the quality received.

Friendly staff and the food was delicious! Our server was very helpful with which dessert to order. He suggested flan over tres leches, but we ordered both, and he was right! The warm chips and salsa were very tasty!I ordered a smothered chicken burrito and it was so good! My husband ordered the special burrito, and that too was very good. We will definitely go to this restaurant again!

First and foremost, my husband and I have been coming here for years. I've never left a review because there was never really anything to write about. The food is always good.. The service as always been average. Until now.

We decided to change it up tonight and sit down at the bar. Not only did the bartender Jared go ABOVE and beyond to give us the best service, but he made the entire experience a bunch of fun. The food came out faster than it ever has, and our drinks were excellent.

If you have a chance to eat here.. Do it. But make sure you sit downstairs at the bar with Jared. He's the literal best.

An absolute gem on Route 22. The food there is always fresh and they will make just about anything to order. Shrimp appetizer is to die for. They always have a specials menu and the burritos are phenomenal. They always load them with tons of whatever you want in them such as shrimp or beef. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent.

First time at the down stairs bar and Adam the bartender is amazing!! He is so friendly and can recommend the best drinks/tequila. I have never been to a bar where the bartender was more friendly and helpful. My new go to bar!! Go see him, you won’t be disappointed!

Nachos are great. Husband loves the beer selection. The staff are always friendly snd attentive even when they're packed.
They also seem to have each other's backs. We are often asked if we need refills or anything by other staff when our own server may be on a much deserved break or maybe it's just policy.

Our waiter Dan was very friendly. Food was good. Good vegetarian options. The chips were fresh . Had my son's birthday ..they has a small twist to the song singing. They gave him a Mexican sombrero and a fake mustache

We love this place, food is amazing and great atmosphere. Love the salsas (green and red) and chips. Upstairs/street level is a regular dining area, downstairs is more of a sports-bar environment and we go there to grab a meal and watch Rangers hockey. It can get very busy at peak and parking can be limited, don't forget to go around back for more parking or the entrance to the lower bar area which has more tables in addition to the long bar seating.

Incredible place to eat with top service. Had a misunderstanding with one order and they gave me a gift card and took care of that order. Totally incredible service. Far above expectations. Drinks 🍹 are awesome 👏🏼. Love the Margarita’s, Corona’s. Will have to try the Mojito and Sangria next time. Can’t get enough of the tasty 😋 food either. Atmosphere is relaxing 😎 and yet exciting.

If you want terrific Mexican food, Go To Sol. Everything is delicious and homemade. The green chips for the salsa are my favorite chip. Their soups are outstanding. My husband usually gets the Burrito of the Day. They are huge and deli cious. Everything I have tried there is delicious. The prices are great too. A family can eat there without breaking the bank. I would suggest to go a little early so you can avoid waiting for a table, although they have a very nice bar downstairs with a couple of pool tables if you do need to wait. They have outside seating too, which is just lovely on a nice evening.

We had our untraditional wedding reception here! It was incredible!!!!! Service was on par with any "fancy" wedding we have ever been to and it was a blast! The servers even looked like they were having fun! The food was fantastic, everything ran perfectly. We couldn't be more impressed. Jason was with us every step of the way and welcomed us ANYTIME to talk about the wedding beforehand. We would even show up unannounced, and he was excited to see us.

And the food? Our guests are STILL talking about it a month later. Yummy!

Sat at a table in the bar. Ordered burritos and an appetizer. The dinner came first, the app a minute later. Dinner came so fast was delicious. Burritos are amazing. They took the appetizer off our bill even though I said no worries. Great customer service!!

The food was delicious and priced reasonably. They have a great beer selection and the service was very friendly. We had a group of 10 and were well taken care of.

It was busy because it was Cinco de Mayo but I'm so glad we waited. We had drinks while we waited and the manager checked on is while we were waiting and sat us before they called us. Our waiter Daniel was fantastic and the nachos are amazing. Looking forward to coming back.

Great food like always. Not crazy expensive. Amazing atmosphere, friendly and good for kids too. If you get Jared, you're in for a treat, he's absolutely hilarious and very helpful.

Really great selection of tequilas and a perpetually rotating line up of excellent microbrews. The staff are attentive and friendly. Don't miss out on the bar on the ground floor!

Fantastic, the food was great and pent of it. Our server was attentive. Will be going back. The atmosphere was casual and fun. Great drinks!

Their beer selections are always great and fun. This time, they have a mint stout and Melicks cider (alcoholic) and the bartender made me a delightful Black Velvet by mixing them. We had our favorite appetizer, Cajun dry rubbed wings and they were hot, fresh, and wonderfully spicy. We ordered the specials, I had the grilled octopus and my husband the grilled trout. Both dishes were perfect for the summer, came with mango sides. I eat grilled octopus wherever offered, and Sol Mexican Cantina's is one the very best. They have octopus as an appetizer. I highly recommend.

No matter if we eat in or take out, Sol is consistently delicious! The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. and I always leave with a smile on my face. Oh, and you MUST try the key lime margaritas!
