It was my first time visiting the temple and I am so blessed to be here. It took me to tirupati balaji in Tamil Nadu. The food is little spicy but over all me and my family loved it. I wish we have same temple in Toronto.

Visited the temple on Diwali. Menu as of November 12th 2023. Samosa for appetizer and Maysor Masala Dosa with sambar really delicious.

When I stepped in NJ was searching for best food options, Balaji cafeteria was suggested as one of the best restaurant. It’s been a year I am visiting regularly to temple and cafeteria, initially my answer was yes it’s true but from past 2-3 months seems something changed in cafeteria. Dosas were given as papads, sambar completely modified, samosas are too oily and list goes on. Don’t want to reduce its rating but expecting the improvement.

Dosai, tea, coffee are good but Samosa, Sweets are average. Cafeteria is clean, friendly staffs. Lassi is good but not worth for 3$

Good food and great experience as usual. The organizers and volunteers do a tremendous job with managing the crowd even during auspicious days when the temple draws a large number of people.

The food quality in this temple's cafe is excellent. I do have a suggestion though - When I went there, I noticed increased wait times due to the long queues. I had to wait for upto 45 minutes to get the items we had placed. As most people order 'Dosas', I am guessing that the kitchen becomes busy in a short while. But the customers who order simple items like idly or pongal are waiting due to this. My suggestion is to have 2 separate queues, one for those ordering dosas and one for those ordering anything other than that. This will greatly optimize the waiting times.

Good and mostly fresh south indian food option. Masla Dosa is the best and their sambar is great too. Tea/Coffee is not so good and I have found samosa double fried a few times, not okay.

The five stars are because the cafe was really clean and the ordering process was very organized. The feel was very typical of an Indian canteen and somehow comforting because of that.

Nice south Indian food . Their specials after 11 are yummy and they were not oily. Over the years I have noticed a remarkable improvement in their food. Breakfast lunch or dinner on a weekend is definitely good .

Awesome place. Serene, but due to lot of building development, the place has become a little bit ruckus behind the temple, where the Car Pooje is located. Inside the temple, is well maintained, spacious, good place to leave your shoes and slippers. then wash your hands and feet and enter the Temple. Lots of different Hindu gods in one place. Great way to spend some calm time here. Later take the temple prasada. Downstairs is a small little cafe, where they prepare good food. This is another attraction for some individuals, who want to get away from cooking at home, but still do not want to go to a hotel. Prices are good, but over a period of time, there is a price increase due to inflation. In between there was an exchange of management, and food was not that great, but now it is back on track. Anyone visiting NJ, will not miss this place.

Great food in this cafeteria. Simple vegetarian food. They now accept credit cards, too. They have everything from pakodas to dosas and some rice options. Great idea to go with family to the temple first and then the cafeteria. The temple also has some classes for kids to get them closer to the culture. This is a great place to spend time while they are in these classes. Overall, it's a great place. Sometimes, it is crowded, especially over the weekends, and finding a place to sit and eat is an issue, especially if you are with your family or a bigger group.

Very beautiful temple inside
And the cafe which serves best south indian food at subsidised prices is very famous. You will love the food. Cafe has good sitting space as well but the management is strict about timings, so better have the food on time.
