ShopRite of Plainview - Woodbury Rd

I have been shopping at ShopRite of Plainview for many years and have always been very pleased with customer service. However, there is one store employee, Rose Marie, who always goes above and beyond to help me. Rose Marie has always been courteous, kind and helpful. Rose Marie is friendly and always enhances my shopping experience. Rose Marie is a great asset to ShopRite Plainview.

If you shop in this store you should visit Joe Fish in the seafood section. Very professional,polite & helpful. This employee is an asset to this store and I hope Mr. Greenfield sees this comment

Shopping today in plainview ShopRite bakery section. Asked for frozen pizza dough. No one behind counter seemed to care. Out on floor the manager named April said she would check in the back freezer & came out carrying a heavy large carton and placed 4 directly into my shopping cart! Hold on to this hardworking April! She’s a keeper!!!

Store is typically well stocked, clean, and fairly quick check out process. The associates at the deli counter are always personable, helpful and friendly. This store does get quite busy so keep that in mind when planning a shopping trip, whether it be a quick, couple items or a weekly/monthly shopping haul.

Nice clean store, everything stocked. I order custom cake and cupcakes for my son's birthday, I have to say the girls and cake decorator in the bakery are very nice and helpful. Bakery has more selections than other shoprite.

Store is well stocked and very well organized. Their produce is of high quality at reasonable prices. Their house Brent bowl and basket Is on par with the major name brands or better. The management and staff are friendly and helpful.

In my limited experience, ShopRite of Plainview is better stocked, better organized, and has lower prices (than ShopRite of New Hyde Park). That explains why every nook and cranny of the parking lot can get totally filled up, even if the spaces are a little on the small side. Also, my cart was a little beat up, so maybe the carts need a little better maintenance.

I love shopping there. It has everything I need with great prices.

Eventhough the store was out of stock with some of my items, the stock men looked up the items on their scanners and told me when they would be in stock.

Quick & painless I'm just an expiration date nut been burned a few times here so I'd check if I was you but other then that it's a decent supermarket

I've aways gotten good produce here, they have an abundance of good sales, and overall good prices. (Much better than say King Kullen and Stop & Shop). They have a large variety of items, both store brand and name brand. It's clean and they seem to run it efficiently.

I checked out some of the negative reviews here; can't say I can relate as i've never had a bad experience. Maybe it's because I'm a former King Kullen shopper and was blown away by how much I saved by switching, but i really like this store.

If i had to give one area of possible improvement:
At checkout you have to wait to be called to a checkout lane. The cashiers wait until they are done with their current customer to call another. Now, this is probably a covid thing, but they could speed things up by letting another customer load their groceries while finishing up with their current customer. Not going to lose sleep over this slight inefficiency though.

This was the first time my wife and I have done in store shopping during Covid-19 times, and we were pleasantly surprised to see how the store was set-up to protect customers. Masks were required in addition to social distancing which was easy to do late evening on Saturday night. We found everything we needed android check-out was easy. The store makes you wait on one checkout line that feeds 8 to 10 cash registers. Accordingly, you are always moving such that the wait is not too long. We will definitely be returning.

Great selection is even better now since they renovated and expanded the store. Cold cut section can be a long wait though so avoid it if possible. Ordered the Italian food platters for a party once and it came cold even though we asked for warm. At least it tasted good? Very busy even at night but efficient staff.

Not insanely large but big enough to have all you want. If you want the deli make sure you download the app and order a couple of hours ahead. The app shows you what aisle everything you want is in. It remembers what you bought to help your next shopping list. Nice store with a nice and helpful staff.

Great market. The gefilte fish alone is worth shopping there. They make it fresh right there. They have terrific fish and seafood. This is a terrific chain. Used to go when I lived in Connecticut too. They also carry a reasonable organic selection. The stores are clean and well maintained.

Great store! Even though it’s always busy, the cashiers try to get you out as fast as possible. The employees are very friendly and will help you out. They do the best they can to keep customers satisfied.

Clean, well stocked and well organized. This shop rite had a much larger selection than the massapequa location. The staff was helpful and friendly and kept the holiday line moving smoothly even during covid restrictions.
