Alexis Diner

It’s the small gestures that make this diner a great place to eat besides their good food and friendly service.
My husband and I come here every so often and never have a bad experience. Everyone in the staff is kind and helpful people. They even make sure the plants and trees are well take care of! Some of the most beautiful flowers you’ll ever see.
Pastries and cakes are delicious too.

My recent visit to Alexis Dinner was fantastic! The ambiance was inviting, and Amanda, our waiter, provided amazing service. The food was delicious, with every dish expertly prepared. While the pastichio dish didn't quite meet expectations. I highly recommend Alexis Dinner!

Got off the highway after sitting in bridge traffic for an hour and guess what - the diner is right there. Everyone was hungry so we went in. The place was classy, food was great, and we all liked it. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Awesome food. Great service. Our server Debbie was busy and still had time to check on us, making sure our drinks was full.

I had the egg white omelet with bacon and cheddar cheese and it was the right portion for me. My husband had scrambled eggs with corn beef hash and he said it was really good. Highly recommend. We always stop here when we come up. My husband also appreciates how well maintained it is.

My wife and I just love this place. It is a great American diner. Pretty much everything we have ever ordered on the menu tastes delicious. Everyone is friendly and they know what they’re doing!

Place is very nice, service was excellent, our server Allie was very attentive and friendly, food was great, highly recommend this place.

Waitress was very courteous and when I had an issue with a entree, she took care of it and removed it off the bill

Food was excellent and our waitress was excellent.
When we first got there they were very slow to acknowledge us at the door but finally did and I am glad we did not leave.
We had hot open face roast beef that was delicious and a big serving.
Soup was delicious too.

Really good food with kind servers. Gotta be one of the best spots off the thruway. Real corned beef and real maple syrup. It's legit. It was on the way home and we would have been happy with normal diner food but they do better than that here. Wish I'd had room for the baklava.

Most of the time we order breakfast here even for lunch or dinner. Food is always fresh, well prepared and portions are generous. Garden omelet is a favorite. We ordered a burger deluxe today. Huge, well prepared burger, very special fries, lettuce, fresh tomato slices, cole slaw and pickle. Delicious and affordable.
Highly recommend.

4/30/2023 - Tues evening.. everything was great.

We went on Mother's day 2019. Service was a little slow that day (very busy). Food was excellent. Restaurant has very nice atmosphere and way above average for a diner. Kids meals include drink and dessert.

A good old diner. Food is great, service is impeccable. I'll be back for the burger.

This place is a perfect example of your classic Greek American diner.
Very friendly staff with a nice atmosphere, and definitely a lot of care put into your food.

Great diner with great hospitality and service. They seat you right away when you walk in and take your order. Food comes quick and the food is very tasty and cooked right. Have been to this diner a couple of times and it's conveniently located just off of highway 84. Will be going back and want to try their cheeseburger deluxe w onion rings.

I used to work in the Hudson Valley 7-8 years ago, and the Alexis Diner was always one of my favorites for breakfast. I was in the area today after many years, and they are still great. The staff is very friendly, the service is fast and attentive, and the food is second to none. The spotless dining area and restrooms show that the folks at the Alexis are serious about making this a great experience.

One of the best Diners I've ever been too. The entire staff is very friendly and the owners as well. I absolutely love going here with my family. The cheesecake is the best out there!

Great place! Came on Easter and everyone was just pleasant! It was just me and my daughter. And we tend to eat with our eyes and not with our stomachs! So we decided to split meals like we always do! 🤣 She got an extra side of potatoes and bacon, which were huge!! I ordered the corned beef hash omelet for us to split. HUGE! Perfect to split!!
Wait staff was awesome and had great teamwork! We will def be back to visit!

Conveniently located diner with ample parking all around. Wholesome food at fair prices, and memorable desserts attractively displayed in a vitrine. Friendly staff and clean bathroom. Chrome plated façade in classic diner style. In May 2022 the Orange County Libertarian Party gathered at this location.

Great place to stop off I84 in New York. We used to live in this area 30 years ago and missed this type of dinning experience. The service was quick and the food was delicious. Make sure to check out their mural of the "8" wonders of the World. We make it a habit to stop here when we are in the area.
