Residence Inn by Marriott Milwaukee Downtown

Updated rooms with super high-ceilings and USB charging ports. Located along the river walk, this location puts you in the center of town and a short walk to some great dining options. The American Society of Quality (ASQ) also has space in this building, so you know it's up to standards :)

Great centrally located hotel. Rooms were extremely spacious and ours even had a full kitchen complete with a toaster, pots, and pans. Parking was $30 a night through the hotel for a secure underground parking ramp. We enjoyed walking to the Public Market and the river walk. Will definitely stay here again! Thanks!

Nice hotel with spacious rooms. Highly recommended for short or long term stays. The have kitchen cooking setup in the rooms. The do allow pets. A few people have dogs and as a business traveler, I love to see the friendly dogs on their way out for the daily walks. The staff is friendly and they respond quickly to any service needs. They have a nice breakfast every morning the changes daily so you get good variety.

Beautiful river view, friendly staff, well kept rooms that are clean. One thing that I really enjoy about this Marriott is the fact that all the rooms that I have stayed at have incredibly high ceilings. They must be at 10 or 14 feet. My only complaint is the breakfast is very mediocre, but I don’t think that this is the fault of the staff, I think most residence inn breakfasts are rather meh.

Great location, polite staff, good breakfast (standard Residence Inn/Hampton Inn), comfortable, clean rooms.
One small hiccup and staff went above and beyond to 'solve'. Absolutely recommend.

High ceilings, nice rooms. Bathroom was well sized too. Having a full kitchen is great if you need or like to cook... Lobby is nice as well. Good breakfast...

Lobby was clean & beautiful. The ladies at the front desk is always so nice, they always welcome & greet you when you walk in or out of the hotel. The room we got is facing the river so it was nice. It’s clean, large and we loved the mini kitchen, equipped with enough things to make a home cooked meal if you wanted to. The gym was adequate, a lot of the weights are missing their matching sets, but still there was enough there to get a good work out in. I recommend this place.

Great Hotel , Friendly staff. Clean and well maintained. This place is central to activities in the City of Milwaukee. Recommend the stay. Note : Breakfast is good but no bar or restaurant on premise .

Had a great stay here, my room was much bigger than expected. Also plenty of options for parking including on site and a pretty cheap parking garage across the street which was also a nice surprise. Had a very enjoyable experience checking in as well. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Milwaukee.

We only had one evening in Milwaukee, but we couldn’t have picked a better hotel situation. Tons of food and entertainment in walking distance, the room was clean with everything in working order, and the bed is nice and comfortable.
But the best asset for this property is the very kind and professional Neisha at the front desk! She was very welcoming and full of information to help our stay. She took extra time to visit with us, when she really didn’t have to. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels worldwide and many Marriott properties along the way. It is rare to meet someone like Niesha who cares about the job and the company she is representing. It is so nice in today’s times to see a young person who really seems to care about the job they are doing. Thank you!

I get put into quite a few hotels when traveling for work and this has to rate in the top five of any hotel I've ever been in. I was not expecting these tall 16 ft ceilings and for my room to be the equivalent of a studio apartment at just $230 a night! The staff were all incredibly friendly and told us about all the great local areas to go for dinner. They're advice was spot on. If you're staying in downtown Milwaukee, I highly suggest giving this place a try!

Residence Inn Marriott Downtown Milwaukee was a perfect set up for an overnight visit to Uihlein Hall, Simon & Garfunkel Story and Milwaukee Museum of Art. Two separate bedrooms with full baths, living room and full kitchen. TVs in each room. Buffet breakfast included.

Location was terrific-10 minute walk to Historic Third Ward, 6 minute Uber ride to theater. Had a wonderful time.

Friendly staff, spacious room with comfortable queen sized bed, good-sized bath, and kitchenette.. I had limited view but appreciated the large window and the natural light. It seems one cannot take the stairs and stay within the hotel. The lobby has beautiful marble grand stairway to the Skywalk which accesses other buildings. Housekeeping is limited and upon request as is typical since covid. Catch the friendly workers in the hall as no one came upon request at the front desk.

Nice hotel right on the Riverwalk and easy walk to the deer district. Room was large and well appointed. The free hot breakfast every morning was good with different items everyday.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The front desk employees were helpful and pleasant. Our room had a wonderful view of the river walk and we were just a few minutes walk from all the shops. Parking is $20 per day, which was a little annoying since we were already paying to stay at the hotel. So that would be my only complaint. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfy king size bed, great view of the river with huge floor to ceiling windows! Front desk = excellent service from wonderful people. :)

Breakfast bar is delicious. The little kitchenette is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, microwave and a 2-burner glass cooktop. I love that they have an empty pitcher for water waiting in the fridge.

Amazing staff. Great location. Well appointed. Clean rooms. What’s not to like? And can you beat these river views?

The room is very clean, view is excellent! Mikki at the front desk was absolutely awesome and gave us some great recommendations for dinner and drinks. They didn't offer valet during our stay but parking was inexpensive and has in/out privileges. Overall a great place to stay; great location and the riverwalk is definitely something to check out

Great hotel with alot of character. Formerly the old Gimbels department store. We shared a beautiful 2 bedroom suite on the 6th floor, which had a full kitchen, 2 full baths, and 12 foot ceilings with beautiful floor to ceiling windows. Staff, although very busy, were very attenitive. The free breakfast included eggs bacon sausage and gravy, and assorted cereals, yogurt, and fruits. It was very good!
