I personally love coming here. It's a little ways from home but when I'm out in Corning I always go here. Always get good service, always get delicious food, very clean, can't say enough about this place. On a Wednesday night or Saturday night they have a small pasta Buffet for about 20 bucks all you can eat. I recommend you check it out. Highly doubt you'll be disappointed. 😆 Love going to Sorges.

My family hails from Corning and Sorge's is a must stop. As always they did not disappoint. I got the veal parmigiana and a virgin Bloody Mary. Good family atmosphere and good service. Finally, the food is not just good: it is phenomenal.

I arrived at the restaurant with a recommendation from the motel where I stopped for an overnight stay, indeed an excellent recommendation, the restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, the waitress who served was pleasantly friendly and knew how to answer and explain the dishes of course the recommendations were accordingly. If it's an Italian restaurant then eat accordingly, we ate lasagna with meatballs and stuffed chicken parmesan for dessert ice cream and homemade cheesecake, was excellent and highly recommended

Great selection of food and very tasty. Had not eaten homemade nodules in a long time. The fish and wine were great also. Quick service, friendly waitress great food.

Had dinner for Valentine's Day. Food was on point. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The dishes came out in a timely manner. A great Italian restaurant. Exactly what I would expect from an authentic italian restaurant.

First time back here in a long time and everything was great. If I had to make a recommendation it would be to go easier on the pasta tomato sauce. Definitely worth the day drive from Williamsport

What a wonderful find in the crowded downtown of Corning NY! Great service, absolutely delicious marinara sauce, pasta and cheeses, wonderfully crispy seasoned rolls, reasonable prices. If you go in evenings be sure to make reservations! And street parking is very limited, so allow extra time to walk from the parking garage the next block over. We loved Sorge's and will definitely return on our next trip to Corning.

My wife and I went out for her birthday tonight and dinner was fantastic. I posted a review a month ago saying food was OK but because it was takeout and suggested to eat in. We ate at the restaurant and it was much better than takeout. The calamari was fresh hot and crispy. My wife had homemade spaghetti and meatballs and you can tell they were homemade and not frozen. I had chicken Parmigiana that was to die for. We had chocolate peanut butter pie and it was good. We always get it and recommend it. Service was excellent, waitress very attentive and kind. This was the first time we were able to eat at Sorge's since our 5 month old was born and everyone there loved her. It was a great night.

My family and I visited Sorge's Restaurant after touring "The Corning Museum of Glass". We were seated yet desired to move to another table in the restaurant. The waitress noticed a few minutes later the table we wanted now opened up and offered to move us. We were thrilled because it had a better view. The food was excellent, and it was served promptly after we ordered. I had their delicious corn beef Rueben which I totally recommend.

I was meeting another business professional out to celebrate her retirement over dinner. Our table was ready upon arrival, service was wonderful as usual. Thank you Margalynn for making our evening so enjoyable.

A great old style Italian restaurant. Homemade everything. Kind staff and reservations. Get the seafood lasagna!

Set right down during a very busy time and taken care of immediately, well played! Food was excellent, service even better, seem to be family-run definitely family friendly. Definitely recommended!

Great little Italian restaurant in Corning's Gaffer District. Have to give a shout out to Norma, my waitress, who was rocking it! Food was good for the price. Only wish is that the seafood Alfredo had more crab, but it did have a good amount of shrimp. Had the Lemon Marscapone cake for dessert later that night and it was very good. Would recommend for a nice relaxed dinner. Easy to park behind the restaurant in the municipal lot.

Dinner was so delicious! My husband had the pasta bar. Great way to try a little bit of everything! The fettuccine with shrimp was great. The fettuccine was not heavy but light, so I didn't feel overstuffed. Portions were very generous, and I had enough leftover for a great lunch the next day. And the Rigatoni Red wine went perfectly with dinner! Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend this place!

Sorge’s “Friday Night Fish Special” was delightful and a nice find for us just traveling through town after visiting the Corning Glass Museum.

We are not from New York and met with family for the breakfast buffet. It was awesome! Plenty of options including some bread pudding which is one of my favorite things! The staff was great, food was hot and tasty, and prices were awesome! Highly recommend the breakfast buffet!
