Amazing bread. Crispy on the outside, soft and delicious on the inside. I got a loaf of Gary’s bread today. I’ll be back to try the others.

My review is of the storefront location. There were lots of different types of bread to chose from.

Wide awake is one of my favorite businesses in the Ithaca area (dare i say my favorite). Their bread, pastries, and cookies are all delicious. I love being part of their CSA, I get to choose a new bread every other week. The hardest part is just choosing one!

Words cannot describe the goodness of their bread. A proper crust dotted with a plethora of seeds, whole wheat grown by local organic farmers and milled just a few miles away.

More so than "white and dusty", did you know that fresh whole grains actually have a FLAVOR? Nutty, forest-y, bright. You don't get a carbo-crash after eating it either; this stuff is sustaining energy.

The Wide Awake people are as easy to love as their bread. Join a bread CSA, or find them at the Ithaca Farmers Market. More expensive than your dull el cheapo grocery store "loaf", but absolutely worth the price: your local bakers, farmers, and millers are making a living wage and an incredible product.

No store front, so was unable to buy bread. Found bread on sale at GreenStar and it was excellent. However after returning on no less that six occasions, the shelves are always empty. Have been unable to find their bread on sale anywhere...very dissapointing indeed.
