I had a great experience watching your cashier Maria be so kind and helpful to a woman on a wheelchair.
She was so impressive. Even kind to me. She deserves alot of recognition and also a raise.

I work at Price Chopper for 13 years. When I work there, I now do notice on its muzak system, it plays the 1970s music especially, the '70s songs that I do remember hearing when I was a child and teenager (e.g., when I grew up) around my time. The food court is now reopen, but it is still off-limits to associates, but for customers only with every other booth open to promote social distancing. Price Chopper on Altamont Avenue now has a section that they remodeled located next to the food court where you can buy food and eat it there or you can take it home which opened on July 13, 2020 which is called foodfare where they have a selection of Pizza, Chicken, soups, subs, sandwiches, salads, already-made dinners, and sushi like what these photos show.

Amazing place.. coming from all the way in queens, bought some lobster for 5.99lb
Payed 50 and change for 5 decent size lobster to take back to queens... very organized easy to find stuff.. would definitely come back.

Great environment, great food. Employees are very kind and helpful. The layout of the store makes it really simple for a great customer experience.

While the Golub corporation is no longer that small local business that was a gem of our area alone it has managed to retain the roots to the community in which it serves and has been based out of for so long.

There are competitors of course, and others have come and gone.

At the end of the day Price Chopper/Market 32 remain one of the best market chains I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. This particular location has moved locations in the time since I have started going there as an adult patron, and the inside of the store has been updated and remodeled as has the outside of the storee where it currently sits in the plaza on Altamont Ave.

Their meat and produce are always fresh, the managers and employees of the fish department are friendly and accomodating, the bagels and baked goods they sell are fresh and never stale or old.

I am also a fan of the flower section of the market, to be honest it is as good as most shops that focus just on flowers. I have never been unhappy with a purchase from their floral selection.

In terms of variety of items, they carry a large selection and always seem to find shelf space for those new products you always see advertised on TV without the store looking or feeling cramped.

The store is well lit, well maintained, and clearly it hass managers and employees who take pride in the store and in a job well done.

Now I am older so I have seen a number of people come and go, friends from high school who used to work there, regulars who started as cashiers and worked their way up. Which is both sad and exciting at the same time. I am happy to see that Market 32/Price chopper promotes from within and gives opportunities for growth within their organization. It is nice to see local companies looking out for the people who live in the community.

Lastly the pharmacy which I only just started using is amazing. They are friendly, and thorough. The y are accommodating and manage to get your scripts ready despite having high volume at times. I would recommend anyone switch there from CVS or any of the other underperforming "chains". You will not find a better pharmacy team than the team at Market 32 on Altamont ave.

Oh, almost forgot... the parking lot is well maintained. It is clean, usually free of carts, and it is most importantly VERY well lit so no one needs worry about their safety if they are shopping late at night.

I am a lifelong customer and I am proud to say they are from our area.

I grew up in Rotterdam New York, fresh choppers always been in our backyard. We love their bagels, they are soft and tasty.
My wife and I visited this morning everything was nicely stocked, produce was fresh.

Good, but who would want to have to pass all those pastries to get to the cash registers (especially with a fat girlfriend and kids too)

Went there to purchase a few items l needed and found 'em. What 'Bad Thing" can anyone say about this establishment...? It's great!

My first time ever shopping at Price Chopper. Very bright spacious store. Meat department had a lot of good selections to choose from. The lady at the deli was extra friendly and graciously did my orders. No problems checking out. Recycling on site! This location makes me feel appreciated. I'll shop there again.

I really like the renovation to this Market 32. Friendly clerks and helpful, especially when I can't find an item! They always ask if I need help with taking groceries to my car, and are so nice about doing it.

We regularly go to this Price Chopper for our Market needs. It's always spotless, shelves organized, employees able to be found when/if you need them and the workers behind behind the deli are always kind, patient & very friendly. This location in particular, I've also noticed, is wonderful with families and children. We will definitely continue to make this our primary market! Thanks to everyone there who makes it an enjoyable experience EVERY time we go! Keep up the excellent work guys!!!!

I did my month's shopping here starting at 2:15 am. There were people stocking the shelves everywhere, and each one I encountered was friendly and helpful. Their radios were on, and it was just a great atmosphere in which to shop. I'll be back!

In addition to the usual market items, Market 32 offers many nice prepared food items for those that want fresh food but are not able to do the prep.

It was super busy in the food court area. I was hoping to have a sub for lunch and when I wanted was unavailable. I asked Scott if there was any in the back. He checked and there were not. He made me my 3 subs. He was insanely busy but had a positive attitude towards me. I felt horrible asking because I saw how busy he was. Scott did an amazing job.

One of the managers, Sabrina, is one of the nicest, personable, and accommodating of all time. And most of the staff that works with her is the same. I once lost my wallet (left it in the cart) and it was returned fully intact. Best Price Chopper ever!

Bought a cake for my daughter's birthday. The girl working in the bakery, her name started with a z, has beautiful handwriting! Their cakes are the best. Shelves are well stocked. Scott, at the deli makes great subs also!

This is a great grocery store with great prices, so I guess it lives up to its name nicely. The few times that ive come here for food items that ive needed it never disappointed. It's pretty large for a grocery store with a wide selections of grocery and miscellaneous products. In addition, if has a florist, seafood, meat, and bakery section where you can find them all mostly at the back. My favorite section of all however is the sushi section! I always find a great selection of sushi there at a decent price and the guy(s) there that makes it is good, and nice too. It's always fresh and tastes great for store-bought sushi. This is definitely one of my favorite grocery stores I've been too and I highly recommend.

Price Chopper always has great special. like buy 1 coffee & get 2 free. This time of year I can get cookie cooking supplies and great gift cards. Thank you for the 4'x gas too.

Best fish/seafood anywhere and they will fry fish or scallops for you for no charge

All the store employees go out of their way to help when ever you need it!
As of mid January '22 you just might! That is because Golub is in the process of transitioning this store from a regular Price Chopper to a full blown Market32.
For instance, the bread aisle is now on the complete opposite side of the store. Near fruit and produce. I guess they consider part of their bakery department now. Many other changes, not as drastic, as well.
