The store's selection was outstanding, offering a wide range of fresh produce, high-quality meats, and a delightful assortment of specialty items. Their commitment to locally sourced and organic products impressed me, ensuring I always had access to the freshest and healthiest options.

The personalized service continued as they guided me through the store, helping me find everything on my shopping list with ease.

I had the opportunity to have Paul Daly help me show me around making my shopping experience so much more memorable.

We have had a great experience with this shop and the staff is always helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Jessie for getting the Hershey's ice cream my wife loves. I highly recommend this store. Thank you.

Our favorite neighborhood shopping spot. Butcher section is the best, they can also do custom cuts to some degree. It’s always quick to get in and out, super convenient. Wish prices were a bit lower.

Excellent across the board. Friendly cashiers and deli staff in particular. Great butchers, best pretzel rolls anywhere. They carry Oscar's, Duck Trap Farm smoked salmon, and my sons favorite Red Oval stoned wheat crackers. Why go anywhere else?

Nice selection of local foods, prices weren't too bad and the two breads (Challah and Irish Soda Bread) were fresh and affordable. Nice cashier and parking was relatively easy. Definitely worth a visit. (Totally unrelated to anything, but fast T-Mobile Cell Service here too!)

I love the Co-op and have shopped there for at least a 10 years. The variety of products they carry are top quality and fresh. The size of the Co-op is perfect. I can get in and out for the weekly replenishment of perishables as well as bulk shopping for frozen items and dry goods. A staff member is always available to help.

They have absolutely everything here. All kinds of Whole Foods vegan food Health Foods fresh meats and the discount prices for the meat are so unbelievable. I bought a pack of beef liver for $0.26.

It is bustling with business it's clean pretty friendly and they have so much selections. they appear to have a bakery on premises but I cannot 100% confirm that.

After being a member of Niskayuna Co-op for over 15 years I can say that place has everything you need for a small town grocery store. The staff and service here is great, especially the deli. The produce is better than what you would find at most grocery stores. The baked goods are fresh almost every day and you can expect to see some of the local market items here as well. It is a small store so getting lost or overwhelmed by the many many options will not be a problem for a quick stop. I have also never had a problem trying to find a parking spot here as there are spots both in the front and across the street. In conclusion, the co-op is a great store for a quick stop in or the weekly grocery run. Even if they don't have everything you might need, other stores are close enough (within a quarter mile) to get the rest.

I love the Co-op. It's nice to shop in a small friendly store. They have kombucha by the growler, good organic selection and really good sales every week. Their deli prices are better than the big box stores. I wish there was some bulk food....but I hope the co-op stays forever.

Besides excellent quality products for very reasonable prices, they sell simple unique gifts that have helped me out of a jam more than once. Always clean store and good sales too. I'm happy to live so close to the Co-op.

Local! Awesome employees! Cool & well priced items!
My personal favorite is the Garlic Breath Tahiti Free Hummus made in Schenectady! That, and the Saratoga Chocolate Co! Awesome stuff!

First off let me start with this place has the best fresh beef. Seriously. When my family wants beef I go to the Co-op. They also will frequently have a great sale price on many different cuts. And to top it all off their ground sirloin makes the best burgers. Oh, I almost forgot their store made blue cheese and black pepper and their cheddar and bacon burgers. Second to none.
For a little place they have a large variety and carry many of the better brands. Surprisingly, their everyday price is often better than the large chain stores everyday prices.
The deli department here is also our go to deli for cold cuts. They carry several brands including Boars Head and have a small but solid collection of store made deli style salads. Pro tip, try their coleslaw on your next pulled pork sandwich. You can also get excellent sandwiches made to order for breakfast and lunch, likely dinner too though I have never tried then. Bonus, if you commute past here daily in the morning and like a good egg sandwich they have a punch card where you can earn a free sandwich.
Bread department is solid with a good assortment of both national brands and local more artisanal style breads. They also have bins with fresh local rolls and bagels and their pretzel buns are always a good choice for a tasty burger or sando. The fresh donuts are good, the fresh muffins are better.
Frozen food area is small and somehow always seems to have what I'm looking for. Seriously, check it out. It almost defies the laws of physics.
Local fresh milk and a good selection of yogurts in the dairy.
Produce department is always well stocked and you would be hard pressed to go into it and not find a staff member stocking and organizing it.
I almost forgot to mention they carry an assortment of Oscar's Smokehouse items.
This store is well staffed and there is always someone nearby that can assist you if necessary. Checking out is timely and efficient. If you become a member here by buying a share at the bargain price of $5., it entitles you to member only deals each week. Becoming a member here is NOT neccessary to shop here or get sale pricing. However, it is a great way to support a local, community driven store. If at some point after becoming a member you are going to move away they will buy your share back from you. How do you beat that? My only real cons are is that the flow of the store could be improved. But I dont know that they could afford the costly renovation that might be necessary. Although a pleasant surprise has been the addition of a few cafe tables and chairs near the bread department. Nice. The other downside is that the corridor in which this store is located is heavily trafficked. You need to have eyes in the back of your head in this area as a whole, not just the co-op. Why? Because people are always in a hurry and are often inattentive to the road. Oh, and they are often doing something really important while driving like looking at their phone.
If you havent shopped the Nisky Co-op give it a shot and see if it's not everything i said.

Every Customer owns a share of this business by investing a small membership fee. It is $5 per share. They have top quality meats and vegetables as well as a great bakery department where they bake their own baked goods in house.

Neighborhood institution with friendly staff, everything you need, and pretty great prices too. The deli is a deservedly big draw but the selection of local food is equally impressive.

Great food. Great staff. Great prices. I even joined to get better discounts on items and to help the community. It's one of my "must-go" spots when getting groceries.
