We stay here almost for 7 years. The location is great , 2 mins walking distance from UWM. ,Various restaurants and bus route as well as a lot of stress parking available.
Apartment is very spacious with large windows. washer, dryer and storage room were provided at basement.
Management system and landlord are very professional and helpful. Provided maintenance survives in timely manner.

I highly recommend this place to stay .

I absolutely love this place! It is in a great area where you can find all kinds of stores, it is approximately 10 min from the interstate as well. The owner has worked very hard on keeping this property in very good conditions. Very important thing to mention is that we count with 2 washers and 2 dryers on each floor in each building/It can’t get any better than that! In this area it is rare to find 3 bedroom properties and especially for the amount that we pay. Rents here in Mount Pleasant go for a property like this for about $1500-$1800 so it is definitely a great price that you will be paying here at this amazing property!

I've been living here since August of 2022. Everytime I ask for something to be fixed I get a reply. Mr. Day will take a look at whatever problem is occuring in my apartment and will fix it. At first I didn't have hot water in my kitchen sink. When I asked for him to fix this he hired someone to come and deal with it in a timely manner. He is also willing to educate me on what I don't understand about the apartment. When I told him that my apartment is cold and that my heater wasn't working he let me know that Im supposed to shut the windows hard enough to keep the cold out. The one time that the AC unit was leaking in the winter (I don't remember why I was running the Ac in the winter) he informed me that the AC is not meant to be run in the winter. When I asked him why there was water leaking into my fridge he told me what I can do to prevent this. I followed his advice, now my fridge doesn't leak anymore. I'm not planning on moving any time soon. Thanks for all the work that you do Mr.Day

I have been here at highland park apartments for almost 4 years. I’ve been here long enough to know, that there has been so many changes! Amazing changes, bad people GONE, disrespectful kids, GONE! We have some great neighbors, that looks out for everyone in our building.

I’m Akeem Shaw one of the residents that stay here it’s a great place too call home and kid friendly also very quiet I mean my naps feel like hibernation come check it out.

My experience was great they have excellent management very friendly people environment friendly pet friendly great residential area overall it is a great place to be around and to work in

It is one of the nicest landlords I been renting from him for 3 years now n ver had a problem with him he fixes things on a timely matter I love how clean he keeps the building.very awesome landlord would n ver want to rent any where else.thank you so much day for being the best kind landlord for all these years your rock

Recently refurbished and well maintained apartments. Would definitely recommend!

He’s a joke , wants everyone to abide by the agreements but can’t follow them him self , numerous days with out water with out notice to tenants , no locks security doors , parking area lot lights don’t work , won’t maintain building or premises , but watch out for his workers there all on drugs and workmanship is not there at all , happy to lease out all about money , won’t answer any contacts but happy to take you court for money that he just puts in to his lakeside mansion worth couple million , do serious research on owner/joke , before even thinking bout rental from this guy

Not recommended the landlord is really disrespectful to me and my guests plus his services to fix anything in the apartment is really bad it usually takes 4 to 6 months to fix something that can be fixed in one day. Another thing the moment you sign the least he is going to ignore your emails and call if there is anything you need from him.

This is for anyone thinking about renting for the Day Company. I would highly not recommend renting from Charles Day. He will take your security in its entirety. He will make up bogus reasons to not give it back. He will charge obnoxious cleaning fees and charge you for fees associated with PayPal.

Charles was extremely disrespectful to my family, friends, and I while I like at 3055 North Oakland Ave. Again, I would not rent from him.
He would clean the garage with a leaf blower and make your car gross and covered with dust.

This situation happened to my friend and I. Given he visited for the day and came from out of state. He racially profiled my friend. He began to yell at him. It was completely disrespectful. All he did was parked behind the building. When he tried money his car to leave he continued yelling at him.

The last straw was when I planned to move out of my apartment. He said, “You’re able to move out in the middle of the month”. So, I agreed. In good faith, I thought I would only have to pay for half of the month. But this was not the case at all. He deducted the rent for my security deposit. He made up a bogus reason and stated to be the future tenant didn’t agree and moved in the next month. I was stuck paying the rent. Even though I was not living there anymore.

Again, I would highly recommend not renting from him.
He also made comments over the phone discriminating against Chinese people. His comment was it was Chinese made and started complaining to me over the phone. This was over a garage door.
If you would like to live in a hostile living situation. Or always looking behind your back, rent from this guy.
I also had a problem with the old pipes in my apartment. The bathroom sink would not drain. It had taken two months for this problem to get fixed.
The elevator is broken at least once a month.
I would give him a 0/5, but that’s not an option.

I had the worst experience living at 3055 N Oakland Ave, Milwaukee, WI.

Infested with silverfish, other vermin but mainly that. The landlord is disrespectful and rude.
