I’m always looking for new coffee shops to try & I found a pretty cool one in Ashtabula, Ohio. The Harbor Perk was recommended to me, so on a lazy Sunday morning, I traveled out to visit. Easy drive out, easy to find & found a parking spot pretty quick. I walked in and was greeted by the smell of freshly ground coffee, the staff greeted me warmly as well. I’m a big fan of mocha lattes currently, so that’s what I ordered. I then looked at my seating options, it appeared that tables were the best option. A few minutes later my name was called and my beverage was ready. I must say it was nice & hot, a nice foam on top & very yummy. 16 ounces of delicious mocha goodness. The decor was very done, definitely had a quaint coffee cafè feel. Also there was a small gift shop area where they had a myriad of things to commemorate your visit. They also had two large coffee bean grinders, absolutely loved that. They did have pastries & other food offerings, next time I go I will definitely get something to eat. The atmosphere & vibe was super chill & peaceful. I truly enjoyed my coffee as well as my time there. You would definitely go & get yourself a coffee from this wonderful establishment.

Harbor Perk is an absolute gem. They have some of the best coffee anywhere - and I currently live in San Francisco, the land of coffee fans.
As locals know, they roast the coffee beans right there. The baristas very knowledgeable and friendly. If you love coffee, do not miss this place!
Tip: Order a dry cappuccino, small cup. Not many coffee shops can make this correctly. Harbor Perk does it perfectly.

Cool music; warm smiles; hot coffee. What more can you ask for? Let’s face it people… Ashtabula’s cold. We locals who don’t go South with the geese need this place to survive the winter, so it’s a pretty iconic spot to patron if you’re visiting the area. However you take your coffee: interesting flavors, artisanal blends, exotic terroirs, icy treats, or classic espresso drinks; The Perk has got something for just about everyone. There is something grounding (coffee pun?) about drinking it where it’s roasted, too. But even if coffee’s not your thing there’s plenty for you here. The staff are friendly and welcoming without exception, and the vibe is great for hanging out, reading, working, studying, board games, warming up from a chilly day at the harbor, or cooling off from a sunny day at the beach. Grab a locally baked good or a fun piece of artwork on a postcard while you’re here, enjoy yourself, and thank me later.

Amazing place, great vibe and excellent coffee. Some of the best I've ever had. Street parking or side alley parking. Great for a place to sit and work or bring a friend and chat. Food looked great too.

Who could've guessed that one of the best coffeeshops in the entire Rust Belt would be tucked away in Ashtabula??

Coffee selection here is really good. The staff are a riot, and they know how to make espresso drinks properly. If you're used to bland big-chain coffee, this place is like a punch in the face, but stick with it because there are few things in life better than delicious coffee.

This is a cool, quirky little coffee house in the heart of Ashtabula. My wife had a medium roast coffee and I had a dirty chai. Both were very good. The atmosphere of this place is interesting, with old coffee grinders, turn-of-the-century furniture, and other odds and ends. The staff are very friendly, and the coffee and pre-packaged food items are great!

What a lovely gem Harbor Perk Coffeehouse is. Coffee was delicious and we both loved the yogurt parfait with fresh berries & it tasted like a homemade granola. Took some energy balls with us for the road. Delicious also!

My favorite place to get coffee,chai and any other caffinated beverage! They have a rotating seasonal menu with some great variations. My favorite is the chai tea with apple and oatmilk, it taste like a Dutch apple pie!!

Great service for a coffee shop. Baristas are quick and the bean selection includes all the blends we've come to love.

Enjoyed a cappuccino. Met owner and he shared an espresso with me. Loved beans so bought to take back to Seabrook Tx with me and will now order so I can enjoy with my machine here in Texas. Well run coffee shop. These brothers who run the shop understand the whole experience. Very impressive.

A hidden gem. So many varieties and can be customized for any taste. New flavors featured every month! Pumpkin white mocha, the best autumn coffee!

Be sure to stop at this Ashtabula staple to get your caffeine for the day. They have a wide variety of coffee that are all delicious. I like to see what specials they have going on as they are creative, innovative, and delicious. The owners and staff do a great job of making customers feel valued and welcomed.

Cozy atmosphere with exposed brick walls and plenty of seating. Friendly employees. Good coffee and snacks. Nearby parking can be tough.

I can't speak more highly of harbor perk coffee. We came in during the sea glass festival on Saturday and they were ready for a massive influx of people. They were kind and polite and patient with us as we decided on what we wanted to order. The nitro coffee is incredible and they gave me the option to decrease the amount of peanut butter flavor so it wasn't overpowering. My girlfriend had an iced mocha latte and said it was one of the best she ever had ever. The food looked great and was very appetizing. However, we weren't hungry for pastries and sweets so we passed. Next time I'm there I will definitely order them.

We stopped in yesterday right b4 closing (2 mins in fact). We asked if we could order an iced coffee to go & staff was very pleasant. Did not rush us at all & took our order. They did not make us feel at all like we were 'those customers'. I would've understood if they couldn't wait on us so close to closing. Coffee was delicious & well flavored. We stop here every time we come to the harbor.

Wifi📶. Excellent coffee and smoothies. Indoor and outdoor seating. A great place to study. It can be quite busy in the morning. Small step at the front door. Handicap accessible entrance in the back. Parking in the front, side, or upper back lot using the stairs. Today we both had smoothies. She had a Harbor Smoothie with strawberry 🍓, banana 🍌 and Oj 🍊. I had the Whip Smoothie with cherry 🍒, raspberry, strawberry 🍓, peach🍑, and pineapple🍍 juice. Yummy. Kelly did an excellent job making the smoothies.
