Jefferson Diner

The waitress was OUTSTANDING both times we have gone. EVERY meat lover must try the 1 lb. Burger!
I loved mine. And yes, I finished it. It was that good!!!

We stopped here for lunch on a Tuesday around 1PM. The places was pretty full! They have about 4 small booths, 6 or so tables, and a bar that seats about 8. We found a place at the bar. The establishment is small but comfortable and clean! The Prices are great. We had 2 meals for $20. We had the Yuengling beer battered fish with homemade green beans(with butter on them) ,homemade mashed potato’s, brown gravy, and home made chunky apple sauce! Delicious! And the tuna melt sandwich was delicious but the best part were the seasoned French fries. It was awesome to have actual home made food! You could tell it hadn’t been frozen, thawed out, warmed and served to us. And they still kept the prices affordable!

We will definitely go back! The service and wait staff is not the warmest and friendliest…but they get the job done and kept our glasses full while we chowed down!

Julane and I were camping at the Ashtabula County Fairgrounds for the 34th GOBA (Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure) on 17-19 June. We checked out the Jefferson Diner on one of those days and were wonderfully pleased with everything. The atmosphere was very friendly, efficient and home-like. We felt like we've known the proprietor and staff all our lives but we had just arrived from Frederick Maryland. It was easy to find a good lunch using their rich menu and it came quickly and was delicious. After we Cycled 193 miles, the weather forecast enabled us to decide to take a taxy back to Jefferson from Kent where we had been camping. We got our car and went to the Jefferson Diner again on 23 June because we knew we would get good food. The owner recognized us and welcomed us back like old friends.

Gluten free French toast, and gluten free chicken fingers are delish. Keep me coming back, and honey mustard is THE BEST . Charming little diner where everyone makes you feel welcome. Very affordable food, and always quality food.

Food was delicious. Waitresses were very nice. Going back soon

Superior food and service. Love the vintage retro atmosphere of the 70s. Not too many diners keep this historical look on the inside.

What a great American diner ,best soup ,service best of all the price .Being from Eastern Canada I appeciate value. I was a long way from home and needed a delicious meal .thank u for everything

Wonderful little diner. Food is delicious! They also have gluten-free bread for those who like that option.

Our waitress was awesome! I ordered the Diner Skillet and it was most excellent; the cornbread came at high acclaim and the vibes were absolutely exquisite. Would be a great band name, too.

Went to the Jefferson Diner recently and it was very nice! It had a very friendly atmosphere. The staff members were all very kind and patient! And the food was excellent! If you go there I highly recommend the gluten free HoHo cake!

I have been eating there for 30 years and NEVER had a meal I didn't thoroughly enjoy! Clean,most food is home cooked, and reasonably priced! I stop in anytime I come into town. I ATE LUNCH THERE EVERY DAY BEFORE I RETIRED...

One of my fav places for a quick meal! satisfies any appetite and/or budget. Awesome waitresses with super friendly banter. Def recommended stopping here!
