El Rey FoodMart

This food mart has been in Milwaukee for a long time and it's only gotten better since El Rey's took over. It's nice and clean they're always stocked with fresh meat and other good products. Their produce and meat is also a very good quality for the price.

This grocery store is huge. Very clean & pleasant to shop. Worker's are very nice & helpful. And they have a restaurant inside also to eat while shopping. Excellent Mexican food very big plate of food. As you can see in my photos very huge selection of fruits and vegetables & endless cakes, pies dounuts, cookies everything you can dream for that will make you FAT for sure. Lol. Excellent Mexican grocery & restaurant store. This is in Milwaukee on 16 Th. Steet. Mexican section of town. I feel very safe in this part of Milwaukee. Very nice & friendly people.

They have EVERYTHING! First time going and definitely not my last!

My mom, 84, shops here on the regular. Today (4/22/23) there was a situation where she was walking to the store and we were on the phone - I live in Illinois- and after we hung up, someone called me from my mom’s number. I wasn’t sure if she’d lost her phone, if she’d been hurt (she uses a walker), etc… I was worried so I called the store and explained the situation and after describing my mom to ‘Alberto’ he knew exactly who she was. He immediately walked around the store inside and out looking for her. Thankfully, she was okay- she had her phone (something bizarre with Verizon). Point of the review is that Alberto at this store knew my mom from her frequent visits and took the time to take a call from a worried daughter in Illinois to help make sure her Mami was okay. Customer service at its finest!!

El Rey has been around since time began. They only keep getting bigger and better. Go to their deli for seasoned pork.... No one comes close to making it better.

Is there any way that I can buy just a quart of seasoning salt that is from the yellow bag? (I believe it's says "yellow")

He is just so obsessed with and it would be a great Christmas gift for him!!!

If you love hispanic cuisine this place is great to buy already prepared/hot foods. The bakery selections is great is abundant and delicious. The price on groceries/produce are nice and cheap.

I love this store.. any and everything you need is here.. especially in the meat department!!!

Prices are reasonable. The staff is always pleasent. Even one of the manager's, Chad, is bilingual which is a plus for alot of people.
You can always find what you are looking for from popular name brands to the very unusual. They have a public restroom as well.

I loved El rey i been going there for alots of years they have a variety of Puerto Ricen food i love and most of there meats are fresh and valuable i love there special on foods you surely save alot and that's great i enjoyed it very well and the employees are so welcoming and you just feel good to shop with that convitence shoping in that great atmosphere i enjoyed very well!

A very good place for people on a budget, the store almost literally has everything you might need outside of electronics, but even still this one has a bank and a Boost mobile. Highly recommend shopping here

I love how welcome everyone makes you feel when you walk into the store and I love the freshness of their fish, meats, produce, and dairy products are. They pride themselves on freshness and it keeps me coming back to one of my most favorite grocery stores.

Literally my favorite el rey to go to. There fresh French bread made everyday,pan de agua and fruit bowls are the best. The feel of the store is great always clean. There selections are also great and prices are also not bad.

I love this store!! So much to chose from. Kind of like Woodmans but closer to home. Large selection of produce! Wonderful customer service. You got to try it out at least once to see the see for yourself!

My kids love the bakery here and I do not disagree. Definitely makes me want to move my couch in and live here.

Best place to go for when you’re looking for something unusually good for serving guests. Their deli is fabulous. Excellent selection of produce and groceries. And for your sake — check out their bakery, YUM!
