Log Cabin Tavern

Not only was the service fast and friendly but, the had the BEST cornbread of my life! The BBQ was delicious and the stone cooked pizza was phenomenal. There is also a playground outside so my kids could run around while I enjoyed lunch. Would highly recommend.

1st visit and very impressed, spacious nice atmosphere, fast and great service from Kaytlin. Food was great and portions generous enough that we have another meal in the fridge to! We decided this is our new go to place. Nice menu and many choices, we think a brick oven pizza will be the next visits choice.

3/5/2021 - This is one of our new top two places to go to now. I love BBQ and my husband loves Mexican. This place has great brisket and burnt ends. The mac & cheese is homemade with gouda and it's delicious. Beth happily served us promptly with menus and drinks. Our food was out in a timely fashion and Beth was thoughtful of what we would need for our meal. All of the staff are friendly. They have a couple pool tables, darts, and pin ball to play while you wait. Overall we really enjoyed it here and will be back. The portions are a great size too.

Although they didn't have a lot of options, my friend and I visited last Saturday and we had one of the most amazing homemade pizza! John made our pizza and Shawna took our order they were both amazing! This time we went back again for the pizza it was sooooo good! Kayla was our server and the food was even better! (Didn't know that was possible!) Pizza is so amazing we have decided to come back every week and make it tradition! 20/10 recommend!

Beats the food chains any day! Waitress was very helpful in deciding what to choose. I picked a wrap, not even on the menue thanks to my friend, Jackie. I love the blunt message to please be patient and understanding with limited food selections. Can't even be upset because there's plenty of good stuff to choose from.

This place made us feel welcomed and relaxed. Our waitresses was attentive but not overly pushy or hovering over us. My husband ordered a ham and mozzarella glider while I did the pick 2 bb plate. The burnt ends where outstanding the pulled pork was ok. The loaded bake potato was so feeling. I have enough leftovers for another meal or two. We look forward to returning.

Our new favorite place to eat. The ambiance inside and the outside seating is so so nice. The food selection was very good and our meal was good. Our server was outstanding! We moved to BG a couple years ago and still learning our way around. Someone from our old town suggested Log Cabin Tavern,(they drive 50 min for a meal).

I finally made it to the Log Cabin Tavern a few month's back after a separate trip to Libery Center. It is a great place and unique as well. Food, service, seating, and cleanliness is excellent, especially considering the place is in a rural area. They do the best they can and I love that.

The only complaint the dining area is very open to the bar area. You bring a family with kids and you'll need ear plugs for the kids cause you'll hear things you wish you didn't. It is a bar and seems to get pretty rowdy with the regulars. Maybe one day it will be more closed off and low key for people not interested in that atmosphere.

As for all the many comments about the food or how slow the service is, I'll say this: Just go in and make your own judgment. If you want to bring out the worst in people, try cooking for them. Grow adults can act like children, and some of these comments prove that.

In my opinion, I see nothing wrong with the Log Cabins food and service. I have tried on four trips, four different items and all were awesome. And my server I usually get is one of the best I EVER have had at any restaurant and I'm in my mid 30s. So people simply need to chill and adjust the unreasonable expectations. If your that picky, eat at home.

Fried pickles are fantastic. Burgers top notch. Great beer selection and the staff is just as good as the food. Highly recommend it if you want a good meal.

Get there early they run out quick on some things. Not a deal breaker, other good food. Just an FYI. :)

Kaitlyn (hopefully I spelled her name right) was an excellent server, very kind & attentive. She was great!
Overall, this place is the best all around.

Every part of our meal was wonderful. We ordered the brisket which was excellently prepared. The fries were light and crispy. The homemade mac and cheese was very good. Great beverage prices for alcoholic and nonalcoholic items. Well maintained establishment and the bathrooms were spotless. The lighting should have been dimmed down further given the time of night we were there, but that was a small distraction.

Driving through on my way back to Detroit and searched for a place to eat on Google maps. Log Cabin Traver came up with good reviews. Stopped and was not disappointed nice atmosphere friendly staff and good food. Always nice to find a local place of the beaten path. Sorry for got to take a pic of the meatloaf dinner.
