Thayer Ford

After looking long and hard for a vehicle for over a month and a half I finally found one and purchased it from Nate at Thayer Ford. From the start to finish he made the whole process seamless and super easy. I saw the truck listing on Facebook marketplace around 8:30pm central time and messaged Nate. He immediately responded and he is in eastern time so it was 9:30pm. I was shocked. I am in bowling green KY so driving just to look at the truck was out of the question so I requested more pictures and a walk around video of the truck and Nate told me he would get them for me as soon as he got back to the dealership the following day. Sure enough at 7:30am the next day he send me a detailed video and multiple extra pictures. Once I decided I liked the vehicle we proceeded to work on a deal. Nate and I quickly agreed to terms on a very fair price and with a small deposit he agreed to hole the truck for me for 3 days until I could make the 12 hour round trip to get the truck. Fast forward 3 days when I arrived I found that the truck was exactly as listed and in near perfect condition especially for a 3 year old vehicle. Nate already had all the paperwork ready to complete the purchase when I arrived and I was in and out in less than an hour including the time it took for a test drive. He even had the truck detailed and filled up the tank for me. All in all it was a 10 out of 10 experience and I highly recommend Nate and Thayer ford for your vehicle needs.

Ordered a Maverick with Thayer Ford and received it a couple of weeks ago. Overall, my experience with the two salesmen Chris (retired) & Jim were very positive. They did a great job with being honest about the sales process and what the wait times are going to be for the order. I appreciate their honesty way more than empty promises.

That being said, I had overall good experience with the finance department. While I understand the nature of their work, they weren’t too aggressive with their extended warranty sales pitch as I’ve seen with other dealerships. Additionally, the price was fair and honest such maintaining price protection on the order.

Overall I gave Thayer Ford five stars due to their integrity as a dealership.

Very happy with this dealership. Initially spoke to Nate who was very helpful and professional. I told him that I had received a call from Cody a few days earlier. He then got Cody who was also very helpful and professional. Cody was great, as usual buying a new car takes forever but the wait was made easier due to Cody being easy to talk to. He was able to answer any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new car.

I was able to buy my first “new” car from Robert last night. I left a very happy customer with a used 2021 Nissan Kicks with only 21,000 miles on it. The whole process of looking at the car online to taking it home was only 2 days. Even with my bad credit of only 604 Robert made sure I got the best deal he could give me and stayed an hour and a half after they closed to finish everything. He wasn’t a pushy salesman either which was amazing.

Cody the sales man absolute best! I took my doctor friend from Michigam and even said he bought many and Cody far best with his pleasant warm smile and honesty. Donavan Peoles finance manager even just as perfect to do business with. Thank you. Both. You are the greatest!

Jim was a pleasure to deal business with! I drove from Columbus while he prompted having the car available and detailed followed by solving all my concerns pertaining to my now new 21’ Trailblazer. He satisfied my confidence in making the big purchase . Thanks Jim and Thayer Ford!

Just got into a nice used SUV from Thayer and I would say the experience went very well. We looked at two different vehicles, decided on one, and they got the paperwork processed quickly. Thayer provides you with a no-hassle buying experience, and you get a better price than in neighboring Toledo. Even though at first we were resistant to driving down to BG for a car purchase, it turned out to be a great decision.

We were very satisfied with both the service and the demeanor of Niki and all of the staff involved. They made our buying experience pleasant and enjoyable. It was well worth the 2 hour trip to get there.

We worked with Jim to purchase a new Explorer for our family after my wife's car was totaled by another driver.

Sales staff and buying experience is still 5 stars. We purchased her Chevy Sonic (now RIP) from Thayer Chevy back in 2013.

Excellent experience all around.

I recently purchased a 2020 Ford Ranger from Thayer. My experience with one of their salesmen, Robert, was fantastic. This was my first time purchasing a vehicle for myself and Robert was a great communicator. He promptly responded to emails and was willing to work with me on a price. Upon coming into the dealership all the way from Oregon, I was happy to see the vehicle was exactly as advertised. Robert worked promptly to answer any questions I had. He was professional and expeditiously got all needed documents to complete the sale. I never felt pressured into anything and was satisfied with my purchase. Would recommend this dealership. Jim was fantastic to work with. Incredibly helpful and more concerned with getting us in the right car than anything else. Cannot recommend him enough. Will definitely be working with him on the next Ford we get.

I worked with Chris Crozier at Thayer to secure a new service van for my irrigation business.

We set up an order with Ford in October of 2021. Through no fault of Thayer's, delivery was delayed on my purchase.

Chris kept me on the loop as information became available to him regarding the progress of construction on the cab/chassis as time went along.

I took delivery today of a T350 HD with Reading body and I can happily say that it was well worth the wait.

Thank you Thayer for helping my business to continue offering a higher level of service to our clients all over North West Ohio. I will be back to purchase more vehicles in the future.
