Midway Animal Hospital

This is the way veterinary offices used to be, back when they were not run by corporations. Friendly, hospitable, caring, & perfectly reasonable prices. There's no gouging here. That's a very unusual situation these days. But that's not the best thing about this place. It's obvious that their main goal is not maximizing profits, but taking care of our pets. They don't recommend a mile long list of optional, unnecessary, high cost testing & labs. Their price range is not extraordinarily inflated. I noticed right away that they only recommend exactly what was needed to efficiently treat my 10 year old golden doodle. He had three procedures done while under anesthesia and he is doing marvelously. I'm really happy with this veterinary office and I sure hope, for the sake of us pet lovers and our fur babies, that more vets adopt this business model and get away from corporate veterinary medicine.

We absolutely love Dr. Huff and his crew! They really care about their jobs and take the time to do what they need to help your pet. I've even been squeezed in when no appointments were available because my cat was having some issues out of the blue. They are always friendly and they don't push you to spend more money than you need to. My old vet was going to charge me around 700 dollars for testing on my cat, Dr. Huff was able to diagnose with only a 170 dollar charge and she's doing great on her road to recovery. Don't waste your money at a corporate run vet. Take your fur babies to Dr. Huff!

We would like to thank the staff and Dr. Huff for the Love with our Dog Addy over the years. We had to say our Good byes to her this morning and they made the situation great for us. We will continue to bring our dogs here for these reasons! Thank you all very much.

Dr Huff is a very observant and intelligent veterinarian. His staff are courteous and helpful. The clinic, although in Bowling Green is easy to get to. There is plenty of parking. He diagnosed my cat with diabetes just by examining him. The blood test showed he was right. Their compassion was evident when I had to euthanize an injured cat. He is more reasonable on charges. I am glad I went.

We love Dr. Huff! He is very compassionate about his job & treats everyone's pet as his own. The staff is very friendly & the services are very affordable. I'm sorry I didn't hear about this place sooner. We drive about 25 minutes to see him & every trip is well worth it. We Thank you for continuing to care for our animals!

Can’t express enough gratitude for this place. Saw my silky on extremely short notice to remove an infected uterus that would’ve killed her. Emergency room price was unbelievably high in Toledo so I was very happy with the service and price. Thank you so much.

I originally took my cats to a vet closer, but my fiancé found a stray with no eyes, a broken jaw and weighed 0.8lbs that was obviously abused and the only vet that could get us in was midway! The vet gave him a shot and we are so grateful! After taking our now 2 year old pinto bean to midway I switched all of my cats over to midway because they were so great. Reasonably priced, the staff upfront is great, the vet is great. We are grateful to have such an amazing place to take our furry loved ones!

This was my first time ever going to a veterinarian office ever in my life! I was more nervous than my dogs. They were very well behaved & the staff was super friendly they have lots of treats for your pets and the facility is really clean. The staff is veryknowledgeable and answered all my questions.

Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. My puppy Moses absolutely loved the ladies that trimmed his nails. Always a good experience.

Thank you so much to Midway Animal Hospital. We couldn't get in to see our normal vet, and after one call to Midway they were willing to get my dog in the same day. With my work schedule, we ended up making an appointment for 2 days later. I am so grateful and appreciative to Dr. Huff and his caring staff for taking the time to see us on such short notice. Almost a month later, our big girl peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge. 🐾🌈💕

Brought in a stray cat we found, for a check-up& to check to see if it was microchipped. The staff were kind, polite and hospitable. Prices were very reasonable. The doctor, Steve Huff, was very helpful. We will be coming back again with the rest of our pets!

Everyone is very nice and makes a big deal over my dog Maggie (which we both love). The doctor is very kind and gentle and the staff we've encountered have been kind as well. Thank you for getting us in so quickly when we needed it.

I just took my cat for the first time and I already love the place. The staff are very friendly and down to earth. It made me feel like everyone genuinely cares about animals and not raking in money like some other animal hospitals. I will definitely be returning and recommending.

From our initial call to our appointment checkout, Midway Animal Hospital provided an excellent 5-star experience for me and my 9-week puppy. Dr. Huff and his staff are very knowledgeable and their love for animals is evident by their gentle, kind, peaceful, yet joyful nature. As I observed the other pets/owners, I was pleasantly surprised to see how calm they were- this includes the woman who had brought her dog in for an emergency visit. Overall, there were no signs of distress or anxiety observed in the waiting room, both when we arrived and when we left- which is a testament to the serene environment Midway provides. (My daughter had to go to the bathroom before we left so I was able to see more of the patients that were waiting after my appointment). Dr. Huff is an amazing vet, who patiently answered all my questions. My puppy was so peaceful and it really amazed me how at ease she was with Dr. Huff and his vet technician. My puppy wanted to stay with him even after she got her shot- she kept walking over to him as our visit was ending!! The facilities, including waiting areas and patient rooms, are exceptionally clean- which has not always been my experience with other animal hospitals. Thank you Dr. Huff and Midway Animal Hospital staff (Meghan and Caris)! I am so thrilled we found you!

New vets - same great service as when Dr. Martin was there. They even went out of their way to squeeze an emergency visit in for my cat when they didn't need to. They stayed a bit later to be sure my cat got the care he needed for his injury and that is unheard of today by anyone! No matter how far you need to drive, take your pets here! They will be very well treated!

My husband and I love Midway Animal Hospital. Each vet we've seen has been so sweet to our Lil bulldog Fiona and cared for her special health needs. Their prices are really reasonable too!

This animal hospital is amazing. The minute I walked in they remembered my dogs name and treated her like their own. Staff are extremely personable and nice. Prices are not overpriced and just want to help you. I made over a hour drive to come here for a dental appointment. They quickly got me in and accommodated every need or concern I had. So thankful. Highly recommend.
