Big Deal Burgers & Custard

Big Deal Burgers really are a big deal!! So delish, my first time visiting today and was very pleased! It's nice to find a good lunch meal when out of town for work 😌

Pretty good and reasonably priced. We got the 3 piece fish meal. The coleslaw was banging.

If you're looking for a quick burger stop with phenomenal food and great custard, definitely drop in here. It's about a 5 minute wait to get your food after ordering. It's a maximum of a 2 minute wait to order. The staff is polite and accommodating, the place is clean and the ambience is excellent. I have not had all of their items, but the ones that I have enjoyed I've always been delicious.

This place has such awesome burgers and fries. If you don't know about Big Deal Burgers, you should give it a try. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Ice cream is also tops. I had a banana split and it was the best. Service is top notch. Very friendly staff. We're regulars now.

A nice juicy burger. I was very pleased with the taste. I ordered the mushroom swiss burger and my friend had the southwest burger. I also had to try the cheese curds. We both were full after eating half a burger.
The cheese curds were delicious. Not oily.
Will definitely visit again soon.
Only nit pick I could find is the seat was so low.

Great customer service and great food that's always fresh and they don't take longer than 15 minutes to make our stuff every time. Love the outside seating and every time I go in or I go through the drive-thru it's pretty quick!

This place was much better than I was expecting and that's not a backdoor compliment. It's just that when it comes to faster or fast food burgers, I've come to expect a certain level of quality (not all that high of a level) and this place definitely surpassed my expectations.

I was attending the Lego Brickworld event at the fairgrounds and I just wanted a good, simple burger. I had never heard of this place but after a quick Look at the menu on-line, I gave it a shot.

Simple set-up. Nice, but not overwhelming menu. They have burgers, gyros, and Reubens as well, along with quite a few other options.

Prices are actually pretty good for the quality of what I had.

I had a double cheeseburger, nice sized order of fries and good sized soda for just over $10. That might not sound like a great deal but once I saw the size of the burger and tasted it, I had no problem. I should also mention that if I hadn't ordered the extra paddie for $2, my meal would have been about $7.90 and would have still been big enough for 90% of the population.

A good quality of meat, two 1/3 pound paddies and cheese served in a paper bag. What's not to love?

The fries were good but they did have a level of greasiness that was nice but after a whole bag, I had enough. For me, the fries were a perfect size to split with someone else.

Service was good and everyone was friendly. Nice outdoor seating area. Pretty clean for a place with so much traffic.

Overall, if you want a good burger, then this is a good place to go.

Great place to grab a bite to eat. I've been here a numerous amount of times. The restaurant is always clean staff is happy. Menu items are tasty.

Just tried this place tonight, 11/14/23. It was great! Burger was huge and filling. Fries were the best I've had in a long time. Chicken strips were excellent. Cheese curds were the real deal!
There was tons of room to sit, service was very friendly, and the restaurant was actually warm to sit in! So many places are chilly all the time these days...
Also, food was prepared to order, but fast, even though the drive-thru was rocking. Can't wait to go back!

The pricing is competitive to others in the area along with bigger portions. I have known the owner here for a long time, and he has always treated my family with the utmost respect for years. Never once had anything missing from my order.

In addition, I will continue to go here when I'm looking for a cook-to-order place all the time.

My fave! Love a good burger & chili cheese fries. Milkshakes are great.. although the banana is not for me.. it's made with real bananas so it actually taste like you are eating a banana in a cup 😂 I'm more of a artificial banana milkshake fan lol... To each is own, all the other common flavors delicious 😋😋 10 out of 10 recommend!

The husband and I eat here fairly regularly, probably two or three times a month.
We genuinely no longer touch “fast food” because the food here is so much better and priced comparably. We can get a very filling meal for right around $20 for both of us — which is about the same as McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Arby’s, etc and actually cheaper than Culver’s.
I have yet to have anything here that was bad. Burgers are excellent, as is the fish — both the fish fry and sandwich. (The coleslaw with the Friday fish fry is so, SO good) The Italian beef, Rueben melt, chicken tenders, fries and onion rings are all also seriously good.
Is it the best food in the history of ever? Of course not. But it’s consistently good, often excellent, and reasonably priced. Portions are filling. Food is always fresh if you dine in, though it’s obviously going to get a little cold if you take it home with ya.
Staff is friendly most of the time. They’re mostly teens to early twenties and they work way harder than what you normally see in fast food. Sometimes, like all teens, they just look unimpressed with having to work. Lol.
I’m always impressed and grateful they’re close by for those few nights a month I just don’t have the energy to cook!

Great food, and even better custard. The fries are some of the best in the area. If you like a burger with a little heat grab the Volcano burger.

The food was way better and cheaper than McDonalds around the corner, though the men’s room could have been cleaner

Our secret go-to Custard/Burger joint in Milwaukee. They are a stone’s throw from State Fair, though tucked in behind a Walgreens/McDonald’s front line. IYKYK, and I have NO IDEA why someone who knows about Big Deal would even think to go to McDonald’s, all I can think is those we see going there just don’t know! Fine by us, the line is never tooooo long like Culvers, and their food is WAY better. Expansive menu, good prices, everything is tasty, and the people are friendly, YAY Big Deal!

Great service; chicken soup was surprisingly good, especially for a cold rainy day. Sandwiches were made to order and much better than most fast food. Also tried onion rings and cheese curds; everyone enjoyed their lunch!

Excellent food and friendly staff!! The restaurant has lots of seating and very spacious!! I recommended Big Deal Burgers & Custard to one of my coworkers. She's going to check it out and I encourage others to do so as well!!

Big Deal never disappoints. The food is so good, and so reasonably priced! We can feed our family of 4 for about 20% less than a chain restaurant and, portion sizes are larger, and quality is spot on.

The Deep fried burger is pretty good with large portions. Was even better the next day after I removed all the toppings. The fries and onion rings are amazing. We didn't try the ice cream but we will definitely be back for more. The price for 2 adults and 2 kids was $30 and came with a ton of food. Wish the burgers came with a little more fries though.
