Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Perfect place for a weekend or any other day. Excellent service. Rooms perfectly clean. Easy to park. Don't forget to visit Harley Davidson Museum! I love Milwaukee!

We really enjoy staying here. Not in the best area but the parking lot is fenced off I've always felt comfortable leaving my car in the lot. There is a $20 parking fee. There is also nice restaurant and bar on-site, and the morning room service is exceptional. I personally wont stay in 507. Right across from The Rave.

My husband and I have stayed here many times before we lived here since it was convenient to where he worked when we were living out of state. Since we moved here, we stayed here once due to an extended power outage and our wonderful prior experiences. This is always a great place to stay, the staff are friendly, and the place has a lot of old charm. We highly recommend it!

We booked here last minute for New Years Eve. I wanted to spoil my mom for a night of fun after my dad recently passed.
We were incredibly pleasantly suprised at how gorgeous the hotel was! The beautiful spotless art deco interior, the gorgeous old world details, the beautiful art work and memorabilia. The old school elevators really blew us away. Our room was huge, had a beautiful big bed, king size perfect for the two of with room to move. Nice big sitting area with couch, mini bar, desk area. Lots of outlets, plugs and a very convenient lighting options. You have your own theromstat, and the room is very comfortable. It was super quiet and peaceful. We loved it! I have to say both ladies we saw at the front desk where phenomenal at customer service. Absolutely top notch and friendly! The shuttle driver was caring, funny and really looked out for us. We took it to the casino, they gave us his number for an easy phone call to get picked up. Big roomy van too!
We had no idea when we booked it'd be this wonderful! We will come back, this time we will try the bar, Gin Rickey, and the lovley restaurant The Fitz, inside.
There's only 1 issue we came across, we had dirty pillow cases with hair and a stain on our comforter. They were super thread bare, but we chalked it up to being an older hotel.
Otherwise immaculate experience!!
Also, plenty of safe parking however it is $20 even with a handicap plaquard. So that was a bummer for sure.

Great value and location, it’s really easy to walk into the centre but I think they run a shuttle too. Has a gym and is clean, would recommend!

A no-brainer for any Eagles Club/Rave shows. This little piece of history has character, friendly staff, a bar and restaurant. Garage parking is $20 and you can get more passes for other vehicles with in and out access. Very little fuss and everything you need. Enjoyed my stay and have no complaints.

Front desk staff are very kind & welcoming (luv u Connie). The building is very clean including rooms, bar, restaurant...omg the food at the Fitz was amazing, my steak was perfectly done, melt in your mouth that good. The specialty drink cucumber basil smash is so well done (but super-expensive!) but I guess worth it for our trip. The bartender is attentive & smiley! The Deco Cafe could really use some management, no whipped cream? No brewed coffee? A little messy but convenient (Sunday about 10am, not like we are there at an inconvenient time) Still giving 5 stars, been going there once or twice a year for about 15 years, would not stay any place else. They just got bought by Wyndham? I am a Stash Rewards Member & they no longer do that...I am very displeased by you Wyndham but I love everything else about the place. I really miss Barry the shuttle driver. We got dropped off a 20 minute walk from our destination BTW, American Family Amphitheater. We got a friend to pick us up on the return trip from concert so we would not have to walk back to our drop-off point, that would have wrecked us! But still totally recommend this place.

We loved this hotel. It was super quaint and roomy. Lots of lamps in the room and a lot of room to move around. Super charming.
The con was it was a tad bit dirty. Stuff on the floor and dust under the TV. Bits of stuff behind the furniture. Otherwise, I would still go back.

Thank you to the Ambassador for the top notch accommodations! A friend and I stayed at this classic and classy hotel while wanting to explore some of Milwaukee’s hot spots. The beds were absolutely comfortable and the room was crisp and clean. We really appreciated all the ambassador had to offer and loved the historic detail and decor. The staff was helpful and kind. We will be back for more Ambassador appeal soon.

This place has character, especially since it's relatively old but the rooms are really nice and spacious. Multiple dining areas to choose from. The shuttle service is very convenient but know that it doesn't pick up or drop off at the airport. Food is fairly priced. A convenience store is located a few steps away.

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Great hotel, great location and their restaurant/bar is super fun. Lissa specifically has a great vibe and makes the whole place super inviting. Will definitely be coming back!

The rooms and the building itself were beautiful, clean and as presented online. The shuttle service is amazing and a huge plus. As a historic building lover, this building is very well maintained. The neighborhood surrounding it is in the in between gentrifying stage which is totally not an issue for me as a young person, but I could see this being an issue for others. Walked around the neighborhood and I had no problems though. Absolutely would stay here again.

Step back in time to an art deco classic. The lobby, bar and rooms are beautiful and preserved. It makes you feel a little bad as you haul your tourist body in shorts and a t-shirt thru spaces where the upper crust used to have weddings and events.

But not too much - you deserve it too.

The bad- $20 for parking in their garage (not mentioned). We didn't find the area felt super safe at night, but we were tired and were just going to bed anyway. Tv is Netflix only.

The good - room very large, included a seating area. Bathroom set off into its own alcove. Clean and felt *very* luxurious. Really wish I had taken advantage of the bar. It looked beautiful.

Stayed for a 1 night trip to go to a concert. Room was nice and clean! Didnt hear any of the other visitors in their room so would say pretty well soundproof. Customer service was great! Had a mix up with food at the restaurant and it was quickly resolved. Staff was friendly and helpful. There's a parking ramp on site ($20) which we felt was worth it. Short little walk over to the Rave which is very convenient. Short driving distance to downtown. Overall very pleased with our stay and will be staying again!!

This was my first stay at the Ambassador. I was blown away by the lobby decor. It's a step back in time to art deco heaven. The staff were also amazing at every turn. Really enjoyed the cafe, restaurant, and bar. They also offer a shuttle to and from Summerfest. Highly recommend this hotel for any history lovers staying in Milwaukee.

Stayed at the Ambassador after the PInk concert in Milwaukee. Have stayed there before and love going there. It is a beautiful art deco hotel. Very nice bar that stayed open late due to the concert and many fans staying at the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here a few times and always been happy. This last time was great. Connie was amazing and extremely helpful.

We had drinks and dinner before Harley Fest. Drinks, food, ambiance were fabulous. We did not stay over night. We used free parking and a shuttle bus to and back to the concert. All free except dinner. Great perks to get back and forth for concert at crowded lake front. Perfect way to get around and away from lack front to go home.
Our server, Adrian, ( only Friday) was a gem.

Stay for a concert nearby. Parking was excellent location and easy. Place has history and looks well maintained.

Loved this hotel. There was a line at check-in because there was only one person working the counter. Totally understandable and it was clear that she was doing her best. However, one of the workers came along and offered drinks to the people waiting in line. That was a new one for me. After that I'd give them 6 stars if I could. Maybe I'm easy to please but I thought it was a great gesture. The room was clean and quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
