Great food with a Louisiana twist. Good coffee and lots of it. Staff is awesome; friendly and efficient. Place is clean. What more do you need? Highly recommend the jambalaya hash and the wildberry granola crunch waffles!

It’s tasty. I love the vintage theme of this restaurant. The antique furniture and old-fashioned decor make it feel like I'm dining in a different era.

The reviews are all true, Bluebird is a great spot for breakfast. Ended up getting take out and service was quick and friendly. Even picked up some farm fresh eggs too. Would def recommend the cajun benny and THE BISCUIT! Will remember this place for the next trip to the area...

Food was excellent. Waffle was out of this world as well as their coffee. Good service and pleasant atmosphere. My go to breakfast when in the area.

We stopped for breakfast the other morning! I had the wildberry granola waffle and my Mom had the wildberry granola pancakes. They were the daily specials and absolutely delicious! The iced coffee was wonderful. We can’t wait to go back. The staff were helpful and attentive. The cafe is adorable. This is a can’t miss breakfast stop!!

Came from CT for the weekend and was so impressed with all waitresses and the food was beyond amazing! Great prices too and everything is made on fresh on sight.

Great fast paced, tasty foods Cafe. They had unique items from the standard as well as good old fashioned favorites.
The service was extra quick with a coffee refill top up I never had to ask for.
My wife got the chicken and waffle with the Cajun Hollandaise. I got the breakfast sandwich with 2 eggs on a flaky croissant. Mmmm Mmm!
The fruit cup was Awesome! Cantaloupe, fresh strawberries, perfect bananas, and kiwi! Yummy!
We took a ride from East Providence to try a new place and support local businesses. This place was a hit!
We also went to the ARMY, NAVY, Surplus store in the same plaza (they have been there almost 30 years!)
We love these hidden gems and will be back!

Heuvos Rancheros and corned beef hash.
Working in the area and I haven't eaten here in yrs. Still awesome! One of the best hashes I've ever had. Was full half way thru but I figured I'd finish it all just to b polite 😏

If you like chicken and waffles, get their fried chicken and waffles. It's one of the best mixes of sweet, savory, and spicy I've ever had in a single dish. The visit prior, I tried the Huevos Rancheros and that was good too, but it would be hard to order anything except the chicken and waffles now that I know how good it is.

The food and service are absolutely fabulous at this cafe. We sat at the bar area and ordered Creole Lost Bread and Corned Beef Hash. The turtle coffee was so good I asked for a cup to go. This was the best breakfast we have had in a while! Next time we visit RI, this will be our official breakfast destination.

The family consensus is that the food was delicious. Hot chocolate was some of the best around.

Love Blue Bird. Has the best huevos rancheros I have ever tasted.

Ooow it was so good. Authenic creole breakfast. It felt like I was in New Orleans. You will not be disappointed. Jambalaya with shrimp and sausage.

What a Gem! Nice mom and pop style cafe. Food was perfect. Staff friendly. Good radio station, I had the red skinned potatoes ham and yogurt w/ fruit. I’ll be thinking about this place for a long time. Come to Jersey with your talents

i love this place! i came here on vacation because my bf grew up here. Even though it was my first time here it felt so nostalgic. The food was also so good! their huevos rancheros are a classic staple here, but definitely do not miss out on their specials board. Their teas and flavored coffee are fun and tasty. Also wouldn’t leave RI without getting a buttered muffin from here !!!

Favorite place for breakfast - reliable, fresh ingredients, good friendly service - as expected it gets crowded so be prepared to wait a little if you aren’t very early but the food is worth it. Pancakes are great - eggs are terrific - coffee is good - what more can you ask for

The Food is dynamite. The service is absolutely outstanding!!!!

Good place. I had an egg white omelet with black beans, tomato, cheese, mushrooms. It was delicious. They make their own sausage, too, grilled. It was good, but I like a little less salt in mine, - just my preference. Coffee and pancakes, and home fries all very good. Their dinners are good too on Friday nights, 5:30pm to 8:30pm only. They get pretty busy after 9:30 am on a weekend:)
