Gilbert Creek Park

I love walking around this park with my daughter. They have tennis courts, a dog park, a creek runs through it, it has a nice playground for smaller kids, and u can walk across the bridge(s) to the other side of the creek and there's a jogging path with exercise equipment along the path. Here's a few pics I took the other evening.

Considering I clean the restrooms as part of my job. I could say I wish the patrons would help keep it clean. Or should I say show more respect for the organizations that provide the park itself.

Always happy with this dog park. It also made my day to see a father teaching his young daughter tennis. The people having picnics also reminded me how peaceful this park is. The little creel running thru it is tranquil and calming.

This park is really a gorgeous atmosphere. It has an excellent dog park, infant it's my favorite dog park. The only downside would be that one of the dog enclosure (there are two) has really bg trees in the center of it and it has those egregious stickers that can easily peirce your sweet lil family members paws 😪😒😒

Lovely little park. Lots of dogs and people. Cutest little playground.but what I dislike is the sharps container in the bathroom no child should have to see that in a bathroom by a playground.

Great place to walk dogs, shopping area and safe

I love to spend time at the park it's so nice and quiet. I enjoy the park it is a wonderful place to set and have breakfast or lunch or dinner. just set on a bench or in your car and watch people play tennis. there's a baseball field and a dog run at Gilbert Creek Park! come and enjoy! 🇺🇸😃

Very clean! We stopped in for an impromptu luncheon with the kids. I was at Riverside Park initially but felt uncomfortable and outnumbered by urban campers. At GCP, There are two large picnic tables in the shade close or the parking lot. The tennis courts looked well maintained. The garbage cans were clean and well placed. The lawns were healthy and unlittered we had four kids with us and met a lovely mom with three kids who we enjoyed visiting with. I’m new to Grants Pass and am very impressed with the Parks department. I did not use the bathroom but I saw a few people go in.

Lots of choices. Better get there early to get tamales

2 nice tennis courts, large soccer field, dog park, playground, trials along the creek. This park has it all. The dog park could use some poo pick up but that should be left to the dog owners and not the park and rec folks. Dog peeps pick up your doggy poo, other than that this park is awesome. It is also a 1min drive from the Inn and Out. We often head here after the drive threw to keep the inn and out out of the tuck carpet!

When weather permitted my 11 yr old and I spend many days of the week here playing tennis, walking our dog or hitting baseballs. Now, we're here every weekday... it's our daily after school pick up spot... we really love it

Overall I have positive reviews. It's open late, the little river that flows through is nice and maintained. The dog park usually has good dogs, with respectful owners, but there are some dogs to be wary of.

Great place to take the dog. Tennis and basketball courts (don't miss them, they are across the creek bridge). Some limited creek access. Clean restrooms. Playground. Covered picnic table area w/podium BBQ grills. I've even seen people setup a ghetto summer water silde by putting a tarp and some water on the sloped lawn. Awesome park.

First time to the park. I have a 5 1/2 mo. old male Lab. We met a friend and her dog, Two to three other dogs in the park with us. We had no problem. Love to come back, we had fun.

We like the dog park the most. It does have a soccer field, restrooms, tennis, a walking path, and parking.

Lovely park, we'll maintained. Includes sports fields, tennis courts, a romantic creek, picnic tables, a jogging path, rest rooms and more. Grants Pass is a great place to live or visit.

Nice place now that the city has booted all the transient activity

Great place to walk your dog and being able to go down to the creek makes even more special. Definitely will be going there again. My Bee girl loved it!
