I love this park. I've loved it since I was a little kid and it's still just as beautiful (can't say that about any other park nearby). The number of trees and native plants, a nice and beautiful walkway with clean bathrooms is great. The bridge is safe to walk across-watch for railing slivers though. I love how they allow natural medicine to grow in the grass like clover and plantain. It's right along a great swim spot full of yummy blackberries. WARNING if picking blackberries across the water, be aware there are poisonous red nightshade berries mingled right in next to the edible blackberries so PLEASE watch your pets and kids and do not allow them to eat those ones. Hopefully someday they will replace those with other native edible bushes like thimbleberry, Indian plum and Oregon grape. That's just wishful thinking though 😁 There is a small park for kids to play on but beware, the plastic does get really hot in the sun. Enjoy this park to the fullest and please remember to leave it better than you found it. It's a gem!

This is a great park in Rouge River. The park is clean, has lots of trees, playground, and the kicker is the Evens creek the kids ( and adults) can play in. The creek is shallow enough for some great playtime for the kids. There is also a suspended bridge you can walk across to another small park. The park has restrooms as well. Great find on a hot summer day!

Such a beautiful spot by the river. There's a suspension bridge that is fun to walk across. There is a map of all the trees planted there. It has a little playground and swings. There is a public restroom as well.

This is a great park. It looks small from the road but it’s quite large. The Evans Creek runs through it and you can cross over it on a cool bridge. Lots of trees and a playground for the wee ones!

Love this little arboretum off of Evans Creek Road. Fantastic picnic tables snd benches throughout the park. Small but fun looking playground with swings and a slide. The furry friends are most welcome on a leash

Very nice. Peaceful. Has restrooms that are open and clean. If you need to poop and enjoy nature from other countries, Palmerton Park should be a stop on your route

I'd never been to this park, but loved the access to the water, watching the little fish and cray fish. Very quiet and serene.
