Shasta Community Health Dental Center

It was my son’s first dentist appointment at first he was a little scared but the young lady that helped us was sooo friendly & sweet with my boy! It made his first experience at the dentist amazing . He was so happy when he left that he told everyone he went to the dentist 🦷

I had to cancel my appointment at the last minute but when I called they were very friendly and professional and rescheduled my appointment right away. We had some trouble getting scheduled to begin with so I am very happy that they were able to reschedule me so quickly. They are also seeing both my kids and I am very satisfied with the care.

All of the staff was friendly, my almost 7 yr old was getting his dental check up and cleaning, the ladies made it fun for him. Made him feel very comfortable and relaxed. The Dr came in and answered any questions I needed answered and told me to not hesitate to call right away if there are any problems. Glad to say no cavities!!!

Amazing front desk and staff! Clean lobby and friendly service! The only complaint is the long wait on phones and scheduling issues, but I believe they are working on that!! For being one of the few providers that assists partnership and low-income, they are doing fantastic!! Great job SCHC staff!!

The staff was very kind, caring, and empathetic. The dentist was great at explaining every detail. He did a thorough exam and was very knowledgeable in explaining the diagnosis. The dentist also made sure to give me the opportunity to ask questions. He offered advice and encouraged me to return if needed. One of the best dental experiences I’ve had.

I had an Emergency with one of my teeth. They got me in & pulled that tooth. They were wonderful with me. Thank you SCHC Dental. My pain is gone.

Wonderful! The waiting list is super long BUT as a walk in it is worth the wait! I was able to at least get one broken wisdom pulled. My second hasn't yet but it is still faster than trying to get seen at western dental where they cancel and overbooked and move you and drop you left and right. The dentist was also kind, understanding and knew what he was doing!

Phenomenal service.. I recommend them anytime ..Staff is courteous and professional, not much of a wait time to be seen .

Amazing staff and very professional! We were late for the appointment due to scheduling location misunderstanding on our part but they accepted us anyway. Best dental appointment, felt less anxious, very attentive staff. Thanks again!

Everyone was friendly and professional. I was seen precisely at my appointment time. I received a full examination including x-rays and doctor exam in a little over one hour. This facility is very deserving of five stars.

Today (Oct 2) I had my teeth cleaned and polished in less than an hour. I barely sat down in the waiting room before they called me back. They are so awesome!

Shasta Community Health Dental Center..thank you so much for caring and taking care of my gum infection yesterday. I've got my prescription med that I'm taking twice a day. Thank you for your service. I will visit you again to get my teeth cleaned soon.

My appointments are always on time. The people are very friendly and efficient. The medical staff are very gentle. There is a very long wait to become a patient. I was on the wait list over 6 months. My daughter was told that they weren't accepting anyone who wasn't a patient of Shasta Community Health Clinic.

Every person I talk to was incredibly helpful… I really like the new doctor and I’m grateful to have the help from Shasta Community health center!!

I am so fortunate that Shasta community health dental center was able to help me last week as a walk in to take care of a a tooth that a crown had been broken off several months ago and became abscessed. I was in a lot of pain had made several attempts to fine a dental office accepting new patients. Everyone involved in working on my tooth were so pleasant and professional I couldn't find any other dental office that could have assisted me better and as quickly. I am so thankfully happy with Shasta Community Health Dental Center!

The Dental staff is exceptional. Inside the dentistry office they are very kid-friendly in the way they interact with the kids

The waiting room has books, but it would be nice if it were set up to be more kid friendly with seats that are child-sized, an area for kids to play while they wait with a few things that are for kids. I think it would help kids feel more welcome and at ease.

We were so impressed with our first visit to Shasta Community Dental Center. There was a bit of confusion on the time of our appointment. But Melissa worked it out and got us in. The hygienists and dentists were kind and so good with my four year olds. Thank you, Shasta Community!

I brought my three children, ages 3 to 8, to you have examinations and make appointments for cleanings and fillings if necessary. I was blown away by the care of the entire staff, and how kindly and age appropriately they treated my kids. Before now, we always paid an unbelievable amount to take the kids to a well-known children's dental office in town but we simply cannot afford it anymore. I am so glad that Shasta Community Health dental is here for us, because they have made the transition for my kids perfectly smooth and given them a great care.

The staff at SCHC Dental- Redding Location; made me feel so comfortable. My anxiety walking in was high...then add my 3 year old not cooperating and that out my anxiety at an all time high! The staff reassured me everything was okay and that my daughter's teeth were looking good and to keep up the good work! As a first time mom, it feels good to be encourage, complimented/reassured by healthcare professionals. I appreciate their patience and understanding with my unruly 3 year old. Definitely recommend!

What a great group of individuals to have the pleasure of being treated by. I felt as if I could take a test about dentistry and ace it when I left. The whole staff was great about breaking information down to “big dummy” level. I was not treated as an assembly line 10 minutes spot to simply get the person in and out which really leaves me feeling rushed and makes me forget the questions I have for the doctor. Found out some very important and helpful things in regards to diabetes and oral hygiene. The facility is kept remarkably clean and to my surprise I did not sit in the waiting room well past my appointment time ( which was also kept very clean). Thank you Shasta Community Health Dental!! I know without a doubt you make a difference in this community.

Everyone was very friendly. Even though iam very nervous, about being in there, I know they will do thier best to keep me comfortable.
