The creek winds its way around trees and provides that pastoral feel one expects of central Montana. Off in the distance, a donky brayed and the sound mixed in with the scents of the early morning dew-soaked tall grasses. The little town is all country; the people are real and not cluttered with California encumbrances as seems to taint so much of rural America these days. This park and this town are amazing and we'll be back to visit again.

Stopped here for a quick over-night while on the road with my RV. Had the place to myself mid-week so everything was super chill and very relaxed. For $10, I topped off my water tanks, emptied my holding tanks, and had a nice grassy spot to watch the birds. Great little city park. Would have loved to stay an extra couple of nights just to have a BBQ and outdoor movie with anyone walking by......

Perfect location, nice setting by a little creek, and the adjacent well-maintained dog park was a great bonus. Easy to pull through or back in. Exactly what we needed for a one night stay on the way through.

It's a small park and the mill across the way is a bit odd, but it's still a nice park. Stopped here for lunch before going to the Dino museum and it was perfect. They even have a little frissbe /disc golf area. We loved the stream there. Didn't find any bathrooms though.

Perfect surprise! We went to Rex Grocery and spotted this park for a picnic. The creek is so refreshing and the park is fun.

Beautiful little campground!! Places with provisions for a fire, there is a cool little creek running through it. And only $10 per night, per car, 3 day limit!!!! There are restrooms when in season. Large picnic area with a creek that kinda almost wraps around it. Our 4 dogs loved it!!!

This park is gorgeous! Mature trees, lots of shade, a large playground for the kids, strategically placed benches, picnic tables, a walking path runs through it, camping spots, baseball fields, close to local grocery store and a little creek that weaves its way from the NW end of the park through to the nearby rodeo grounds and Disc Golf Course!
An on-site Pavilion is perfect for graduation parties, fundraisers, craft shows, wedding receptions, 4-H exhibits, family reunions, local blood drive, training seminars, old-time dances and annual community events!
The Disc Golf Course is a fun, beautiful, 18 hole course, that starts near the Pavilion and winds it's way throughout the park, past the baseball fields, near the rodeo grounds and the Weatherbeater, following Spring Creek, ending back at the interior of the park.
Soon there will be a new addition to the area, the Choteau City Dog Park, a long-awaited project that will bring together the dog lovers in the community, and their dogs, of course!
The Choteau City Park has long been a community gathering place for events such as, Art in the Park, Church in the Park, the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Fireworks fundraiser, Music in the Park, Kids Carnival Games, the Annual Duck Race, the 3rd of July Blues and Brews festival, the 4th of July Steak Fry, and the "Got Grit" race and obstacle course start and finish lines, and so much more!
The Choteau City Park is the "heart of the City" for those who live here... always has been and hopefully always will be.
A great place to make lifetime memories, whether you're a visitor or a long time resident!

Surprized at how nice it was!! Well maintained. Nicely shaded. A creek runs through it. RV sites available. Don't Disk golf, but walked the course & it looked quite challenging. Nice little oasis in a nice small town.

Great location. Quiet. Early spring so no one else was there, but the bathrooms were not open yet. Nice walking trail and frisbee golf course.

It's a cool little park, they still have the old school dangerous playground equipment that brings me back to my childhood like a ten- foot tall metal slide and a merry-go-round!

Cheap, quiet, and charming. Fall asleep to the sound of a small stream running through it. Not many sites available but there's a bathroom available, fire rings, but no picnic tables.

It is a wonderful family park. The creek running through it is refreshing. The shade is perfect. It had the cleanest portable toilet that I have seen.

This park is the hub of the town during 4th of July week. There is a great play ground for kids, lots of shade from the tree's and a few picnic tables.

It's really well kept. The new park equipment is a bit underwhelming.. but nicer than the 30 year old equipment that was there.
