Old Trail Museum Inc

It's a small place, but it's nice. Lots of Dino stuff the Liltle shop is fun and everyone was nice. Ended with some ice cream and the young man there was also very nice. Good experience great for kids. Also recommend the city park nearby, has a nice little stream.

Moved to Montana August 2021. Wanted to check out closest towns to me just to see what they have. Visited Chouteau 9/3/2021. Cute town with nice little museum. 🍦 Parlor was closed ☹

The ice cream was delicious! And the service was awesome! I enjoyed having a nice treat there! Sadly I didn't get to see the museum but they had some cool things around the place!

Saw alot of cool old airplanes and missiles. Nice peice of history.

Fun little surprise stop on our journey. With the small price of admission we got to see the main museum and then little houses connected had other themed items to see. We enjoyed some ice cream after!

Very nice museum, it is full to the brim with interesting things. The ice cream parlor is really good as well. I would definitely come again.

I took grandkids to this attraction. The kids loved the teepee and the grizzly exhibit so much. They had lots of fun and the nice lady explained to them what different things were. We topped off the trip with a visit to the ice cream parlor.

Loved this place. We particularly enjoyed going through the old book with photos and charges. All of the buildings are interesting. The price for the enjoyment is awesome!

Great little place, $2 to look around, I always appreciate the preservation of history.

Clean are and so many birds

Cute shops and extremely clean bathrooms in the Visitor Center/Chamber of Commerce Bldg. There was an Ice Cream Shop that looked fun to visit. A very nice location for a leg stretch. Three large displays of dinosaurs on the property.

The museum was not even open for the season yet, but still the woman let us in. She went above and beyond, just in doing that for my son and myself. So friendly and welcoming.

I went there for the ice cream not knowing there was a dinosaur section in the museum so all I can say is that it had absolutely AMAZING ice cream!

The ice cream shop at the Old Trail Museum is the perfect place to stop on the way back to Great Falls after a long hike on the Rocky Mountain Front. One big scoop of Wilcoxin's ice cream in a waffle cone will get you home to dinner and a beer!

This is a great place to stop in the summer if you are passing through town. They have about 16 flavors of icecream from Wilcoxson, a Montana made company. I just can't get enough of the Moose Tracks icecream. They also have shakes and sundaes. They are located in the Old Trail Museum parking lot, so you can check out the dinosaurs in the parking lot.

This is a little gem of a museum. Don't miss the Jesse Gleason cabin and art display. For a treat, visit the last cabin on the right for some large portions of delicious ice cream.

Kids loved it. A great road side attraction. Also need to stop and get some amazing icecream.

Cute little small town museum. Worth a stop by there if you're driving through town.

Stopped in the parking lot at 5:00am to rest since was part of the rest stop parking lot. Two RVs were parked for the night as well. Was pretty quiet until about 6 when people started to head to work.
