Avenue Liquor Store

The Avenue Liquor/Convenience Store is a great shopping experience. Prices are the best you’ll find in the area, and the weekly deals are phenomenal. The employees show up to work with positive attitudes day in and day out. Longtime employee, named Jay, has especially been amazing behind the counter, as he brightens every customer experience with his kind and charismatic character.

Everyone who works here is awesome and super kind. It’s a well run business and the new shop that opened next door is superb. If you get lucky, you might have the chance to pet a couple of dogs behind the counter!

Best place around to get all your needs for a good time. Love the people and love the deals!

BEST PLACE EVER! The dog is the manager his name is Blue and he is the sweetest. The liquor is also very good and good prices!! The reviews I looked at that were rated low were from years and years ago, so I am guessing the staff has changed since!

Great cashier i believe she is the manager. Was in town for some buisness and she treated me like i was VIP. The customers ahead of me all had smiles and was visiting with the most beautiful/ nicest dog . It seemed like she treat everyone like a VIP! Amazing customer service, i will deffinatly return to shop and to say hello.

Came here because this is the liquor store that Jeffrey Dahmer bought rum from when he was luring Tracy Edwards to his apartment and he ended up surviving an attempted murder on him by the infamous Dahmer. Historical site

We come every year and stay at the Hilton for 2 weeks. We visited this Liqour Store last year and met the husband,wife and puppy that run it. They are GREAT people, so visiting this store was on our list to due while we are in milwaukee. We where very happy to see the same people are running the store and there dog is not a puppy anymore. They remembered us and treated us like friends even family. Its a great place to shop price's arnt to bad being downtown. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE! I also told alot of people at Harley to come visit hope buisness stays good for you! I love this store.

Great selection of local as well as exotic beer and liquor. Clerk was very informative, attentive and very professional with helping me select exactly what I wanted. Will highly recommend making this establishment a stop by.

Great place and the store manager really cares about the customers, listens to suggestions for new item acquisitions, and does his best to get them for you! Blue rocks too!

Wide variety of fine liquor, wines, and beers. He also had the cutest blue nose staffy named blue. Cheap prices as well. Will be returning.

This liquor store was visited by Jeffrey Dahmer in 1992 after he told another man (Tracy Edwards) he’d pay him in rum and coke in exchange for nude photos

Easily found everything I was looking for and the place was decent enough! Wish it was closer to home. Cashier was cool.
