My husband and I went here on a whim to take our puppy for a walk on a nice day. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this park is! I’m not sure if there is a specific parking lot but we just parked on the street at the end of one of the dead ends that lead to the park trail. There was so much space to walk and there’s a creek that runs through the park as well. There’s a couple big open areas great for kids/dogs to run around, and there’s also a playground that looks to be in really good condition if not brand new. Highly recommend for a nice day adventure!

Unbelievable walkway for all to enjoy. Mother nature captures all here. Flowers, berries, greenery, fields, ponds, deer, fox, coyote, and much more! Stay to right, when walking, to avoid bicycles!

Great park. Connects to Grant Park and the beach going east. Scenic. I enjoy the sights and the waterfalls during my walks while I start to head back home. Connects to Line 15 that you can take heading north or south, very useful for bus commuters like myself.

This is a part of our walking path. Home to the pond dam and back is 4 miles. The County Park system needs to maintain some of the sidewalks along the Parkway. Walkers are forced to walk in traffic.

Was and still hopefully is a good fishing spot /relaxation spot since the bridge re construction has taken place.

Enjoyed a nice drive and then a short walk along the creek.

Beautiful place to visit

I love spending time around Oak Creek Parkway; it's one of my go-to place for taking pictures. I enjoy the variety of birds and waterfowl, as well as, the flora throughout the Parkway and nearby Grant Park. Can't go wrong spending a few hours exploring the area.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Cool to watch the fishers too. At the pond I've seen many different species of birds visit in harmony. Watch for the black squirrel 🖤

Nothing better than Hanging out with the ducks and geese on a beautiful afternoon. Eating a sub sandwich and reading the great book called Bacon Gone Bad. Trying to find some tadpoles, but saw a couple good looking frogs. Till our next adventure.....

This place has been around since forever. The trails are nice and it is even nicer to go sit on the cliffs. The lake looks, smells, and sounds so awesome from up above.

Absolutely the best place to take a walk your dog..go for a walk or even bike it! You can go over Bridges and hopefully see some ducks and ree a lot of landscaping. The path takes you to all kinds of destinations. They have even added baskets for litter bags for your dogs waste and a few wooden benches to rest with garbage cans for your waste. Beautiful views.

It is a lovely place to take a walk, go for a run or even a drive. There's a decent sized waterfall, a long River to walk alongside, a spot to fish by the river, lots of geese and hiking trails galore! If you keep walking East you end up on Lake Michigan. Great for bike riding anytime of the year, there are some steep inclines, making for a moderate riding challenge. The only downside is the traffic on that road is the route most taken to get to the beach. If biking be cautious of the teenage drivers that whip around the blind spots.
