As a real estate agent who loves MILWAUKEE, it’s ULTIMATELY IMPORTANT to acknowledge when YOU ARE HANGRY. Tonight, I had 3 drivers cancel on me via Uber eats on another local BBQ joint after an hour- but ffffff does this place COME THRU to the RESCUE after my struggle! After an hour waiting in the other place who cancelled on me several times, this place DELIVERS! I commonly work in this area, and this place NEVER fails!!! To “the Q” - THANK YOU, this place SLAPS, I tip my driver extra, you are my NEW🙌🏼FAVORITE . Pic of my own kitchen table, the humans and pup are happy!!!!🥰🥰

I went to The Q for my birthday, and what a wonderful experience it was. The wait staff is so pleasant and attentive. The restaurant is huge and a wide open space. It was so clean. The bar was very well stocked. The music was “on point”. I don’t know who the deejay is, but he is dope for real. I didn’t get a chance to hear any poetry, but I’ll catch it next time. The atmosphere was very calm and chill. The customers were very relaxed. I mean this restaurant is a hidden jewel in our community. I had no idea this place was so amazing. I’m excited to see how well this business continues to do in the city. Now - let’s talk about the food. First, the menu was extensive to me. There was so much to choose from. I ordered the bbq shoulder, greens, coleslaw and cornbread. Before 7pm, the margaritas are $5. Try the raspberry!!! It’s off the chain. My friend had the cheeseburger that look like it came on grilled “to perfection” Texas toast. It came with a million fries, and she also ordered onion rings. What I’m trying to say is . . . The Q is everything and more. I will definitely be back. That’s for sure!!!!

Very chill, family like environment. Today Thursday was Buy on Get one drinks (not including some top shelf) and Game night. They have a great variety of table games to play, from cards to play spades, dominoes, to connect four. For sure going back for the Wings (Buttery Cajun)
Sidenote: Security watches you to your car! Very Dope and appreciated! 👌🏿

My third time at The Q since my return to my birth home and they continue to provide excellent service. I had the opportunity to meet with the owner's son and he was a great host ( besides the jokes about Ohio 🤔🤣) From the greeter, the host, server and the owner, I received quality service and the friendliness was superb. The food was worth the experience.. again. Definitely will return.

Dined in and ordered the rib tips, greens, and macaroni. Everything was delicious and flavorful. Best BBQ in the city. I also tried my friends Turkey leg which was amazing and fell off the bone. The restaurant was cleanly, had a good vibe, and played good music. The owner and employees very nice also! Definitely going back.

I’ve had brunch and dinner multiple times at The Q the food is delicious. The waitstaff and owner are wonderful people that make sure you are satisfied before leaving it is worth a visit.

The walk-in was very pleasant, tables clean of any debris, waiter well knowledge of menu & didn't have to write it down! Yesssssss, that good. Drinks & music were awesome. Thank you, staff and owner Darrell, for a great dinner!

This atmosphere was so inviting. The portions were refreshing for your dollar spent. We had leftovers. The drinks give you nice punch and kick. Even tho the cat daddy tender was fortune cat daddy nuggets. They still slap as my son would say. 10 out of ten would recommend my boi gone n take ya lady

Customer Service was perfect and kind 🙂.
The wait was not long considering they make all orders fresh to go . When I got home I enjoyed my Soul Food burrito and dessert which was banana pudding 🥰 which was also yummy ! Nice energy in the restaurant and the food was wonderful! I’ll be back and I hope it stays the same 🥰😌😇

I really love going there in Soul food Sundays! The DJ is amazing and it gives you that," visiting family on Sunday" feel. Good Food, music and drinks along with family makes for a great day. The Bartender Carletta is very friendly and attentive no matter how busy the bar is :-) I highly recommend and you can get my concert on at the same time!

The jerk salmon sandwich was amazing. It still looks like the Ponderosa setup but was inviting. The staff was engaging from the front door on........side note the dj was great the whole time.

We went to this location for the first time tonight. We used to go to Ashley's Q on National Ave, and loved it, so we weren't sure what to expect.
It was great! I had the shrimp and lobster Mac and cheese and my husband had the beef brisket platter. Both were delicious and plentiful. Service was very good, prices are very reasonable and the interior is very new, well lit and clean. The gentleman at the host station was awesome and I noticed how he was always walking around, cleaning, checking on guests and ensuring everything was in order.
We will definitely be going back to work our way through the rest of the menu!

I went today for the first time to try the vegan wings. SO GOOD. The Mac and cheese was amazing, the cornbread was so good I had to order another slice. I will be coming back!! The staff was so friendly!! I’ve already told my friends to come try this place out! The peach cobbler was really good too! Loved this food, would go again.

Was here for an open mic night on Tuesday and if was AMAZING! The food was really good, staff was SUPER professional and nice and actually liked their jobs. There were all around good vibes and energy. Adding this to my list of frequented spots. Not a lot of vegetarian options but I mean... It's a soul food spot so that's expected lol. I loved it here!

Had a reconnect with my sister friends, we had a really good time. We sat back, ate, laughed, and talked about everything. The atmosphere was great, the music was amazing, our hostesses were really good, friendly, informative and attentive. They did really good with sanitizing after guests.

I absolutely Love this place. Ive had it 3 times. It's a City away(32 min drive) BUT I literally make my way. For one there staff is so Nice, respectful honest and helpful. Unfortunately I've ordered the same thing the 3 times 🤣😮‍💨 It's "The Seafood Fries" for me. They are delicious with squeezed lemon on top(Ask for lemon slices). It comes w/ seasoned fries, topped with Shrimp, Crab Meat, salmon & Nacho cheese. 😋 I've had it twice with salmon once without. I must say without was more my taste. Less "Fishy" but I Am not a Salmon eater for staters so that may play a part. Anywho I'll be back lol. Its located next door "414 Hempress" (Cbd store that's has many selections including Delta 8). So I tend to go there as I await my food.( not a long wait) Lol however the dining area is so comfy. Pleasant music, very spacious and clean. It also has a fully stocked Bar. If I can change anything, it'll be open earlier lol 2pm Cst instead of 4. Love this place

W e visited The Q recently. The first dish I tried was BBQ pork shoulder. I can assure you that this was cooked in heaven. I have also tried the pork chop and Gumbo, all of which made my palate sing with joy. The ambiance is relaxing and the service is prompt and friendly. I am now a frequent visitor and highly recommend this place.
