Konkel Park

Lovely little park, baseball games later in the day, park is kept clean, usually people are around so it’s lively, unless you go late at night. They have a lot of lighting once it starts to get dark as well. They’ve recently been working on it so it’ll keep progressing! There’s also farmers markets and events that go on from time to time. Definitely worth a visit.

Really clean and nice modern park. Playground, restaurants, big field to provide fun for all.

We were here for the fireworks-which were real good! They had an awesome setup with live music and plenty food trucks.

This is a great park! Amazing younger child friendly playground! Also, they have an amphitheater, a consession stand area, multiple baseball fields, gazebos, picnic areas, bathroom facilities, and large parking lot. Definitely 5-star park! My 4-year-old loved it here!

Really nice place! I came with my daughter right when it opened at 12. Not a lot of traffic, free skate rentals (first come, first serve), concession stand, and skate buddies for the littles.
It was snowing the day we came so the only little hiccup was having one person shovel the big ice rink while kids tried to skate. But overall I will be bringing my daughter again, she loved it, and staff workers are kind and friendly!!!:)

Favorite park. Lots of space, bathroom available next to young kids playground. The Amp is a great facility. This land is being utilized so amazingly well. New stuff popping up, while dedicated space is being moved to the outskirts.

Excellent place for 4th of July fireworks!! We were able to be on the street just outside the park and the show today was spectacular!! Highly recommended for kids and fam, great atmosphere of the people around us.

First time here and had a good time. There is the Amp which is a permanent beer garden type area. They have concerts and trivia events all summer. On the other side there appeared to have baseball games going.

On this night, they had a food truck. There must have 50 plus people playing trivia.
My suggestion is come early to get a table. Or bring a blanket or lawn chairs.

Parking is a bit tricky. But there is a second lot. The one close to the baseball field filled up pretty quick

Great place to spend a week night summer evening.

Playground is super clean and nice for the kiddos, couple cracked steps and a broken bridge link but a great spot!

Wonderful amphitheater we saw judging of Little Miss Greenfield and a presentation by some of Madison UW marching band. All part of the 4th of July activities. Later fireworks were spectacular. Tons of Pokemon stops & gyms as well!

Great park to visit with friends and family. Lots of amenities including play ground for baseball and swings/ sliders for kids. Well maintained.

Went to the farmers market and it had a good variety of vendors. It was hot that day, so the acai bowl vendor really was a perfect cool treat! Thankfully, they also had seating in the shade which was nice. Clean, organized venue. I would recommend a visit

Great Park for all ages, clean bathrms, concession stand (inexpensive)open during softball games. Dan Jansen Festival Memorial day wknd.

The car show there is always a great time!!!!

Very large, nice, clean family park with alot to do. We have been going to the 4th of July festivities for over 20 years and they seem to get better every year since.
There is plenty of room to picnic. Covered pavilion available with a stage and concession building as well as baseball field which are very well maintained and have nice seating available.

Beautiful park, and the farmers market was very nice. I had fried rice and crab Rangoon for lunch at one of the many picnic tables provided. Good number of vendors too.

A surprisingly large park with weaving trails throughout. Currently being rejuvenated and will be an even better place to walk in the coming years. A surprising oasis right off Layton.

An amazing park where we celebrated memorial day

Konkel is a pleasant urban park with a playground, baseball fields, and fields. It is also the site for the Sunday farmers market and summer concerts. The newly remodeled area around Honey Creek will soon become a delightful place for walks.
