I'd consider this an easy 3 mile total hike for all ages also dog friendly, plenty of parking early morning or late afternoon, but not necessarily true during the summer time 🏊‍♀👙. There are bathrooms picnic benches if you want to sit and rest or have a bite after you walk, beautiful views of the Applegate River. Definitely a place for group walks.

Looked like a nice swimming area. Calm water, shaded tree area with picnic tables, and paved parking lot. There is a 5$ day fee tho

Friendly place, not crowded, and the water is fine. Not trashy, well maintained and parking is close to the water.

The hosts are amazing and the park is really clean. There are lots of trails throughout and the adventurous can even hike Bolt Mountain. Great swimming areas as well. Great for horseback riders, hikers, and bicyclists. Please just remember to pick up after your self and use proper trail courtesy.

We took family photos here, it's a wonderful riverside park with beautiful nature trails for scenic family hikes even the little ones can enjoy. There are porta potties on site and there is a day use fee of $5 per vehicle which is worth the price. The swim area is safe and nice for younger kids as well.

Nice place to put a tube in the water and float or swim. Lots of kids but people were respectful. Trash cans and porta potty available. The south side has more shade and the north shore has a rope swing. Very fun day.

It's a fun place to swim. The flow is very slow. The warden is very nice. If you get here early, you can get a couple of great spots! We have a favorite, and we try to get there by about 9 to get our favorite spot. Right about 11 or 12 it starts getting very busy.

It’s a cool hangout on the river accessible on both sides. There is bolt mountain trail head and swimming on a somewhat lazy part of the Applegate river. It cost $5 to park if you don’t have an annual pass which you can buy there.
