Great hotel a good day's drive from the Bay Area north along I5.

Easy on/off to freeway. A great price for this quality along I5. When the M6 close by is getting 90 this is a real bargain at 120. When the M6 is getting 70 and this place is 140, that's what you would expect. A well run place.

But the best is the best breakfast you'll ever find in a Best Western. Biscuits and Gravy along with everything else you might hope for.

I had a family road trip from seattle to California.
This best western was the best place last minute booking we found.
Everyone was super friendly and helpful.
The room nice and clean.
Breakfast yummy.
My 6 yo son and 2 year daughter also
happy.
We stay again on our way back because we really like the place.

Rooms are clean, staff are helpful and kind, pets are allowed, guest wifi actually works, area is quiet, and they have the fluffiest pillows that force you into a dreamlike state almost immediately.

Yes this is an older motel but man they really work hard to make it feel like a much higher price option. The rooms are quite and clean. Like it passed my ultraviolet light test!

Continental breakfast was better than some 5 star hotels. Love the make your own waffle stations.

Update:. I returned last night and the pool was up and running and it was clean and soothing. I continue to be impressed with this location. Shout out to Ray who checked me in but the entire staff is amazing.

I slept like the dead and was greeted by Jakub in the lobby as I went in for breakfast. Seriously if your looking for an affordable stay with an awesome breakfast you can't go wrong. This is my go to stay when I'm in the grants Pass Area

It just keeps getting better! in the economy Clase of lodging services on a scale of 1 to 10 I would say this location is defiantly a 10.

Walking into the lobby I was greeted by John and Tayler who by the way expertly untangled a snag with my reservation caused on my end and Taylor got me checked in in record time all while engaging me in conversation.

I was an auditor for Quality Hotels back in the day so I mean this in no small measure that I was truly impressed with both of them .
Taylor is so professional and loyal in my opinion management material.

I remember in a past visit she impressed me with her management skills and poise as she hosted the wonderful breakfast that for me, put the Best Western on my got to stay list when I'm in the area.

Taylor could be the face for this location on your next brochure. which brings me to our next step into our visit.

The Room / Building

Wow I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that there has been a remodel here, I detect new colors everywhere from the room number markers to the walls within.

walking inside im met with a very clean smelling room that is very well kept and the new heat/cooling unit has it at a very cozy 72 on a cold slushy night.

The lighting was impressive enough lighting to really light the place up. new pictures are being uploaded so look for them.

A simple thing that tickles me is there are extra packets with cream and sugar simple thing but i like a really light coffee and i can get it right in my room, easy and quick to make too.

My room was decked out in new pastel shades of Lavendar and soft blue tones with matching but contrasting splashes of this and that not too complex but soothing simplicity.

Much applause for the interior decorating!

The TV is easy to connect my laptop so I can use the super fast Wifi to stream my favorite shows.

The new tap and go card reader locks on the doors are a MAJOR improvement over the old slide locks. Little things ad up! I hope the other locations look to this location as a mentor model.

One of the nicer best westerns I have ever seen in the Pacific Northwest. There is a very nice outdoor pool and spa. My room was very spacious and clean. The front was very knowledgeable of the local area and some of the events going on. The parking lot was also well lit and there seemed to be plenty of places to park which can be challenging for us as we normally arrive late in the evening. Just wanted to say thank you to best western for giving us a great place to stay!

Comfy mattresses. It was really close to the freeway but when we closed the door there was no road noise. They're dog friendly and have a yummy breakfast. We always stay with Best Western and their partner brands!

Rooms are clean and the free breakfast is great for a hotel. I recommend the rooms with a Jacuzzi!

Clean, comfortable room, sparkling pool, bountiful breakfast spread, nice staff, and they welcomed our cat! Modern amenities (USB ports at bedside). We'll be back!

Such a better experience than the one I had to struggle through on the other side of town at Motel 6!!! Loved the staff and over environment, very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere!!!

On a trip from Montana, I made my way to Grants Pass to spend the day with my grand babies. On my drive from Seaside, I realized that I had lost my ID and debit card. I contacted the hotel and explained my dilemma. They were more than helpful and helped me to navigate what could have been an extremely bad situation. We had a wonderful time.

We were here on vacation for the Oregon Vortex. The room was okay and I loved that it's on the first floor! The pool/hot tub were very nice. My daughter and I were at the pool each evening, we were there! Great breakfast offerings and the staff were the best! If I am ever in the area again, I will book here over other locations. Thank you!!

We stay in a lot of Best Westerns because of the quality and price (and we love to go swimming). The only part that was unwelcoming when entering the room was the thick stagnant air that was trapped inside (this is during August when it’s hot & humid). Once we opened the window and door and got the air going it was much more livable 😊. The location is nice, too. They always provide coffee and breakfast…however, if you’re looking for an additional kick to your coffee, Dutch Bros is just down the street (for those who are fans 😉)
One part about the room that we’re not too fond of is the lack of plug-ins. Typically the lamps have at least two plug-ins built in and some even have a USB plug-in (big plus!).

It’s a little older hotel, but everything is super clean and it’s apparent everyone is doing their best. And the price was a little better than every other comparable quality hotel in town.

Nessa at the front desk was incredibly pleasant and made me feel totally at home after a very long week and a very long drive and I’m glad I picked this spot before it sold out.

Within walking distance from a few eateries, clean well maintained rooms friendly staff..Daniel was awesome gave us a very nice suite with jacuzzi tub!!

Overall, this is a nice hotel. I have stayed here numerous times. There has been a time or two where I've been put further away from the front desk - and was miserable. Such loud neighbors, stomping up and down the stairs - coming and going. Playing music from the patio.. but, other than that happening (twice). This is a good hotel. Good place, good internet speeds and if you use your hotel card at nearby restaurants there might be a discount (ask the front desk for more info).
Overall, clean. Pool on site, though small - there is one here. This is in south Grant's Pass, but is close to the highway (couldn't see it) that nothing is to far.
Would be nice if there was a 'guest directory' in Each room with reminders of safety, exit routes and tv channel listings.

We happen to spend a lot of time at many different Best Western hotels in Oregon, about 75 nights a year. We are Diamond select members of their rewards program and have many opportunities to see how different places compare to each other.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Best Western in Grants Pass. The front desk service was stellar. The room was clean and well maintained. The refrigerator and Microwave were clean and worked perfectly. The shower was nice with lots of pressure and plenty of hot water. The air conditioning work well. Room was quiet and Beds were comfortable.

The bed had all 6 pillows. They offered to make up the room daily. They offered many choices and lots to eat for their grab bag breakfast. These some are amenities that other Best Westerns don’t always offer during the pandemic.
They really have gone the extra mile. We will definitely be back.

Love this hotel... in some of the rooms they have hot tubs... breakfast is great... all the staff are wonderful... their customer service is excellent...

This was one of the most enjoyable motel stays I have ever had. It's not that I haven't stayed in better motels in more exciting places but the employees in this Best Western where a delight to encounter. After an eight hour drive it was so pleasant to have Blake check me in with a pleasant smile and welcoming demeanor. Our room was clean and and everything worked as it should. The next morning we enjoyed a hot breakfast of eggs potatoes, bacon and good coffee. They had a breakfast choice for about any desire which is rare for many places. The breakfast attendants, Tina and Lynn, were pleasant and didn't run around in a "huff" like some attendants. It made for a much more relaxed start to the day. Natalie checked us out with a cheerful smile and enrolled me in the "Rewards" program. I've stayed in other motels in Grants Pass and have found the people to be pleasant but it's such a delight to meet people like Blake, Tina, Lynn and Natalie who make traveling enjoyable while doing a demanding job of serving the public.

Great place. Easy check in. Friendly staff. We stayed in the king suite with the jacuzzi tub. Everything was very clean and spacious. Desk, chair, couch, coffee table, tv, mini fridge and microwave. The pool and hot tub outside was awesome. Ordered our breakfast the night before and picked it up in the mornings. Definitely will stay here every time I come to visit.

It's a nice place to stay. The grounds are clean and very neat. The entrance to the office has been updated and nice for people to site or to eat. The staff is very friendly and helpful to make your stay meaningful. The rooms are nice but show heavy wear. Rooms I stated because had to move from one room to another hence the heavy wear the air conditioner not working. But that's can happen anywhere and they tool car of it and moved us. That's what make a good staff. Quick to fix the problem. Now I will say I will stay again.
