Had a bad experience here years ago and didn't go back till recently. Can say it's very pleasant interacting with the personnel who now man the estimating bldg. and work the yard at this well run, clean, modern facility. The business office personnel are always friendly and helpful, prices are reasonable, and you can leave up to three gallons of oil for free by the estimating bldg.. All in all a fine well run professionally friendly waste management facility and a great asset to the community.

Love Southern Oregon sanitation they are so helpful so friendly so organized and so nice. And reasonable don't throw the stuff in your bins at your apartment that can't be recycled and destroy our landfills bring it to SOS Southern Oregon sanitation they'll tell you how to take care of it or they'll take care of it for you for a small fee it's a lot better than throwing it in a landfill sites and destroying our world I hope you all will do what I do with your cardboard your recyclables your electronics they don't charge you for any of that stuff and the fees that they do charge you to dump furniture that's a whole hell of a lot better than dumping it in a dumpster at your apartment building give them a try do your part, and keep what's left of America beautiful.

These people are so uniformly pleasant, professional, informed and coordinated, makes you wish you needed to go to the dump on the daily!
You know how sometimes you cant get the help you need or the answer you want, so you just hang up and start over, hoping for better? No need with SOS. It might be training, it might be they took the time to hire well, but they have the best admin crew in GP, and even though they wince when they see me coming, those fellas outside are on the ball, too! And very low dump fees compared to anywhere in WA or Cali, plus helpful guidance on what you can dump, what they can collect, and recycling too! 5 STARS ALL AROUND.

Grateful for the transfer station closer to my home than Merlin. Friendly, quality staff, easy to take care of business and have the opportunity to recycle in addition to dumping what is not recyclable, quickly and efficiently. Prices are reasonable and I like that there are full, open hours to meet my needs.

Nice to have a local recycle and dump center, some days are busy and there may be a wait but it is the closest option. Decently priced, small truck bed full of household things, yard debris and a mattress and box spring was only $20. Small price to pay for a bit of "spring cleaning"

Use them about E-4 times a week . I work in construction . Wei really like the employees there very helpful ,friendly an professional .

We sat in line for awhile because about 25 of us decided to dump trash at the same time but all went smoothly. We paid $30 for a full 8' trailer with mixed trash which is very reasonable. The cehicle paths are well marked. The staff are efficient and pleasant. Recommended.

Seems like a good group at this facility, when I was there they had both lines stacked. 15 cars ahead of me. I was in line maybe 20 min before I got to empty my trailer.

Though it had closed the recycle center. Wasn't were it was last time I went. Was able to drop off my glass. Attendant was there to help as needed. I did have a bit of confusion where to drop my used oil off. That goes a different place, over by the check in blue shed. Found out they take old printers too.

New here in Grants Pass, the office persons were very helpful and courteous. The dump personnel were awesome and helped me empty the truck. Rates are very reasonable and the recycle is free. The curb service for my household is very convenient. Thank you to SOS.

We had a lot of rubbish left from a tenant move out and some items in a garage so we were considering getting a dumpster to get it taken care of. After one simple email, customer service directed me not only to the pricing of roll off rentals, but let me know that many of the items we needed to move could easily be recycled and we didn't even have to go to Merlin. We feel better about recycling all the metal and TV's and the cost for the remaining items was very reasonable. Grants Pass peeps have a little treasure there in SOS!

I had a problem with a service charge that was ridiculous, and the office manager took time to look into it, and come up with a reasonable solution. I appreciate the customer service. Thanks for your help and hard work

Great service. Reasonable rates. They have never missed a trash or recycle pick up, even in foul weather. They pick up overflow bagged trash when needed (with 24 hour notice) which is greatly appreciated. I change out my can sizes and frequency of service with the seasons and they have never complained or refused. Appreciate the transfer station's efficiency and willingness to help too. I wish all my household services were this easy.

We had a bridge 🌉 rebuilt, and had a lot of old wood to get rid of... Got a big dumpster... Good move...

Satisfied customer for 10 years. Reasonable rates. We don't have much trash so we are on a every 2 weeks schedule. If we miss our date, they will come the following week. It sure makes our life easier.

Awesome place to go to dump trash. Staff are very consistent and assessing pricing for each load grounds are maintained really well I've always been treated with a lot of respect I visit this place a lot as it's work related thank you

Efficient and Effective. Always prefer taking it to the dump instead of paying high prices to have picking up service. Recycling area is well laid out and easy also

Great customer service. They have an employee helping unload anything heavy you may be throwing away. The price is very affordable. And the line moves quickly.

This company does its job without much fanfare, but they do it well. They're always on schedule, and they keep their rates reasonable. S.O.S. is a valuable community asset with public drop-off facility for recycling.
